Good Morning Kids!

LurkingLynn, It's pretty cloudy here in SW WI so I didn't get to see much of the lunar eclipse. I was up on time, but didn't see much.

Had a computer geek over last night to clean up my 'puter, and to secure our wireless for the laptops. The guy was here for over three hours and only charged me $70.00!! He did a ton of stuff too.

My dental work is still hurting me this morning. We have a luncheon for our Graphic Designer at work who is leaving us. Guess I'll be sticking to my diet since I don't really feel like eating today....yet.

Where's AFEG? Where's Heather this morning? She always checks in with us. I have no one to answer or no one to talk to.

Good morning everyone!

Sorry I wasn't on last night...I was fighting with my 'puter trying to make door signs. After spending an hour installing, uninstalling and reinstalling my old Printshop program, I couldn't get it to do what I wanted to anyway. I found a cool Disney font that I downloaded (which took another 20 minutes to figure out how to add it to my computer) but I could not get it to work with Printshop. So, I abandoned Printshop and did a very plain sign with the KK logo with the flags, and I don't like it. I'll post it tonight (I don't have it here at work).

Then, this morning, I tried Power Point. I was able to use my font and got a slightly cuter sign. I'm still working on it.

What do you creative people use for signs, etc?

I also had a good idea (I think) for a fish extender.

Instead of a typical wall hanging-type organizer, how about a trick-or-treat bag?? Since we're sailing so close to Halloween anyway, I think I'll just hang a cute trick-or-treat bag from my fish! DS has a cute one with Tigger on it, but I may not be able to convince him to share....

I was looking at some pics on the DISboard and someone had a Christmas stocking for a December cruise...and inspiration hit!

Hi Jen, Jeff is handling the WIDISmeet. I believe it will be either the 8th or 9th of Sept. Not sure yet though.

I had a very productive evening. Amazing what can happen when you are not dising all night

I decided I was going to start in our closet (which was a diaster) to look for garage sale stuff and my tag bags. I cleand and organized it and found some garage sale things. I wraped about 10 x-mas gifts (yes I am ahead of schedual). Our closet looks wonderful. Of course the last bag I went through had my tag bags in it. I found them. It took me about 2 hours to do our closet

Then I moved onto packing. I now have both large suitcases completly packed. All that is left is a medium suitecase, the carry on's and all the toiletry items. I never knew how hard it would be to pack for 5 people.

Hey I forgot I even vaced the closet. So after all that I moved onto cleaning off the top of my dresser. (yes that is a place that we tend to just dump things.) Now all that is on it that doesn't belong is and the travel items for 5 people.

I even got 3 loads of done.

DH had to work a day shift today so he will not be on today. And I don't have long before little DD gets up so I better go back and read what I have missed

Fortunately, I married a computer geek...otherwise I'm not sure I'd even own one!
