Good morning everyone! Well, I have my next 3 trips to WDW "penciled in." We want to get annual passes, so we will try to get there 3 times between summer 08 and summer 09. We'll try Christmas 08.....any suggestions? Hotel? We want to do a DVC resort...has anyone had experience with a particular one at Christmas? Is there one that stands out at Christmas?

Did y'all see the Little League World Series? Wow, great game!

I saw the champions on GMA this morning and I had a tear in my eye at how these kids demonstrated good sportsmanship. The winning team was from Georgia, US, and the runner-up was from Japan. Well, these boys are only 12 years old, so when they lost, the Japanese team members cried. So what did the champions do? They proceeded to console the losing team by hugging them! I thought that was wonderful and also fantastic that GMA highlighted that act. It's so heartwarming (and makes me hopeful for our future) to see children doing something good and the press covering it.

I think it's a great way to start the week.....:)

Y'all have a good one!

Lindy Loo, we miss ya!!

I would like to say that pomegranite (sp?) kir royales and stinky smelling French cheese with grilled steak is a great way to end your fast, Mother Foose... I mean Goose. :lmao:

I'me probably not suipposed to post when I';ve been drinking like this but I wanted to say hi.

"HI!"

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

See evberyone on Friday 'cause I already know what kind of week is waiting for me when I get to my desk tomorrow morning. :goodvibes

Brenda!! So glad to see you're alive and well! Don't be such a stranger. How's that lottery thing coming? I thought about you the other day....I'm joining a book group, and I thought if you lived closer you could join too--If you could stand discussing books with a bunch of Marine Corps wives..lol I forgot the title of the first book, but I know it'll be controversial. I feel a "foot in mouth moment" in my future.:lmao:

PAIGE!!

It's been so crazy... and I'm sure my crazy is nothing compared with your crazy so I am not complaining.

Book club...controversey...women married to men who may or may not have access to things like flame throwers and AK-47s? Sounds like good times ... sign me up! I can be the token Midwest hick of the group... as soon as I convince Jay to move to the Eastern seaboard. ;)

You'll have to pass on some recommendations to the rest of us ... I've been re-reading the Potter series and then I'm thinking of buying myself a copy of All the King's Men. What baffles me is how I somehow managed not to read this already. :confused3

Gotta run - take care everybody. :goodvibes

Plankton's mom, signing off

I won't get to be on much tonight after 7:00. DH has his football draft tonight online so I will let him have his fun. Times like this where I wish I had a laptop with and and internet connection.

That is ok I need to spend time going through things for the garag sale this weekend, I still need to find my dis tag bags. (that is making me real mad that I can not find those) and then I would like to get some more packing done. So I will be able to keep busy tonight.

Little DD just got up so I am off to get her ready for school and clean some of the house. We really made a mess of the house this weekend.

Morning everyone!

Well, looks like I have about 50+ pages to catch up on from the weekend...I was out at the lake with no PC/internet. Can someone tell me if I missed anything really important?

By the way... a couple of shopping things I thought I'd pass along:

A DISer has posted some fish extenders on eBay (yes, she does call them fish extenders) if anyone needs one. Some are Disney theme and some are pirate theme. I am not affiliated with this person at all...just thought I'd share.

If anyone buys from Avon...they have some cute skull earrings in their new brochure for Halloween. I'm getting some for Pirate night!

Back to work, catch ya later!

Quiet Monday morning here.

Everyone must be back at work.

DS and I did not go up to the Dells today - rain. He says he's fine with not going. So maybe go mini-golfing later after the rain moves out or bowling.

I'll try to make it up to him this weekend.

What a great picture. The way our bruch reservation is now we will be doing bruch on the Key Weat day. We were hoping to change it to Monday the sailing day. How did that workout? Did you have time to walk around after?
Lynn

Plenty of time Lynn, our brunch reservation is 10 to 12, and then we head out to Key West.
This trip we have nothing planned at Key West, just walking around, so no need to rush.

Well, this is a tough question.

I hate to say it, but we're Browns fans.

I'd like to say the Steelers will probably win if you go to the Brown's/Steelers game. It's a big rivalry!!!! It usually is a pretty good game.

(Mike is now going to disown me.  )

As far as the Dolphins... don't know how they're going to be this year.

Sounds good, Thanks Robin!

I usually do the Pepsi ones. but I should do the coke. The pepsi is just a contest that I rarely win. The coke rewards I would definately get stuff because I down soda like no tommorrow!

I drink Pepsi also, like it better than Coke.
Perhaps 8- 10 years ago I came up with this idea that people that tend to be Democrats drink Pepsi
and
Republican's drink Coke.

Just based on my observations of friends, co-workers, etc.

Funny but about 4 years later some uppity political commentator came up with the same thing as me, Ha! I said it first..... years before.....must have gotten around quite a bit and he heard it and claimed it for his own. I never liked that guy anyway. Initials are BO

Hi everyone.

Mike, what is it with you and your alter egos?

Are you of a multiple personality disorder?

Schizo:upsidedow

Not to worry, seasickness is rare. The Magic is a large ship with stabilizers that will keep rocking to a minimum. My wife and I have previously cruised. In fact we met on a cruise.

Don't think it's that rare.
Wasn't it Cass's husband who spent almost his entire cruise in bed with it?
Once you get it it's hard to shake.

I get motion sick a lot the older I get.
Used to be fine on buses, then went on a school trip with my son's class, sat in the back of the bus.
OMG I got so sick!

Last 2 cruises, I took bonine everyday when I woke up. That way, no chances.

I say, better safe than sorry it you're prone to motion sickness, take a bonine or less drowsy dramamine daily.
I don't want to spoil my vacation.

Hi Laura! Welcome again.:dance3:

I'd pick a Monday Night Football game myself. Just my opinion though.:yay:

Thanks for your input Nancy:thumbsup2

Hhmm Now I have two different opinions between you and Robin, anyone up for a tiebreaker?
