I would also like to take this time to say "Happy Aniversary to my DH" Tomorrow will be 6 years.

Go figure the photo people tape their photos into the album so I had to go find another album. I am scanning it right now.

See if this works

Lets try it again trying to get a little closer

Ok so that kind of worked. No if you remember back I told you that the mother in law took over our stuff. Our cake was supposed to be simple, white just like the one you posted but it was to have the cascading waterfall. So it was supposed to be two base layers, 2 middle layers and our top layer to keep. Well the mother in law saw the ears cake topper in a magazine and asked the baker to add one to our cake. Our color was purple so she had them do it in purple. So our minnie and mickey cake topper got put inside a gazebo. (Now personally I let her do that on the stand point I did not want to piss off the soon to be mother in law) Well they day of the wedding the baker had me be present on delivery and set up to sign for it. It was just what I wanted except for the big purple ears. I went upstairs to get dressed. When we walked into our reception it was decorated with purple fake flowers, the mickey and minnie face candies and green leave candies. I so wanted to cry. It was not at all what it was when I signed for it. Of course here comes his mother saying "look how pretty I made your cake. It was just so plain before."

sorry just playing now. I am still trying to get a close up of it. The mirrors in the background are playing tricks on me.

I see your light on Steve.

You coming to join me?

Sorry, I was here but not really. I have a new chapter in my never ending saga of Windows Vista Hell!

Before I go, just wanted to let everyone know that we have fallen to 7th place.

No, no one passed us. A thread from Dec 2004 had 4 posts on 8/22 and brought it back current and on the list. They have 26,325 +/-, and haven't posted before that for 2 months.

So I think our goal is two fold, 1. get past the thread right before us, and 2. push past 26,500 to ensure us a top 5 spot before we cruise.

Remember, 31,500 and we'll be 4th before we cruise.

I'll try to do my best to help you to the goal.

8:45 on Oct. 19th. I am hoping we will be at the Hyatt at this point, but since we do not have our air information I do not know. I am sure we will all be sitting in our room to excited to sleep and just chatting our little heads off about what to expect.

We'll be right there with you. Today we would have flown across country with at least one layover. I figure that we would have hit MCO at about 5pm. After checking into the Hotel we'd go for dinner and if we had the time we'd check out the rooftop pool. I'm seeing the temps in orlando still in the high 80's at night if it stays that way, I'm swimming. That'll tire the kids out and they will go to bed w/o to much fuss. I'll be taking an Ambien to make sure that I get a good nights rest and then... Dead to the World.

Very cool!

So, Here's my tale of woe. I've been having nothing but problems with MS Vista. I crashes frequently and has recently stopped updating itself. I've been searching the internet for solutions for over a month now. Today, I thought that I'd get down to the bottom of it once and for all. I searched the Microsoft databases and found a manually downloadable upgrade file for Vista. So I DL'ed it and installed...

This is a picture of my grandma, grandpa and Uncle. I spent every summer with them. I have learned so much in my life from them.

I miss you Grandpa. Wish you could be here to teach Mac everything that you have taught me.

Immediately, My computer accused me of having a non-genuine version of Vista. Now, I can't do anything on it because It believes that it is pirated. I bought this version from New Egg and it is a full version not an upgrade. So, I paid quite a bit for it. So, I am furious...

We lose so much when they go.

I call Microsoft (what I should have done earlier, but they make their phone number so doggone hard to find) and then procede to spend 3 hours on the phone with them to fix the problem. (Luckily, there is no charge for problems w/ activation) Finally, I end up having to re-install my OS. Then we go out to dinner to allow me to cool down. When I return the computer is ready for a restart. What do you think happened when I restarted?

How sad is this. I am looking through the album and I am seeing that all the couples that are in the pictures have eithe passed away or are divorced. I think there is only 2 couples left. :sad2:

Yes, that is right, "This copy of Windows is not genuine." GRRRRRRRRR! Interestingly enough after I had restarted Microsoft calls me back and I explain what I have done. He states that he can no longer help me and that the Activation Dept would need to continue. He assures me that there is a fix for this problem but it would not be easily done. GRRRRRRRRR! (It is good that he was not a complete idiot, I would have torn him to shreds then. Since, he was polite and seemed knowledgable, I spared him my wrath)

That is sad. I think that I could say that about photos from my first marriage, but this one is still too new at 13 years.

Your cake is very neat, but I can totally see why would would be upset! She totally took over! That's like my mom. She's threatening to take over the decorations for the reception and if she does I'm going to be upset! :(

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond, major DIS problems tonight!

This was taken just a few years ago. My parents gave us a trip on the dolly steamboat at one of the lakes around here for our anniversary. I really like this picture of us.
