Oh Nancy how exciting the Lion King. I got a flyer in the mail for that too but I threw it out right away before I got too tempted to buy tickets. Rachel and I saw the Lion King on Broadway 2 years ago and we were so exhausted from being up early that morning to go to see the Today show and then touring NYC all day that Rach slept through most of it and I can't believe it but I actually dosed through part of it too :sad2: What I saw was excellent though!

Just ordered my Lion King tickets for February too. YIKES!!! They cost me a whopping $500.00 for 6 tickets but we did get 5th row in the Orchestra section. Fabulous seats!! :thumbsup2

Carrie - about the tissues tip (I couldn't find it to quote from it!) We always try to remember tissues. They used to be like using sandpaper. Not sure if they've changed, but in the past, they were horrible quality. I'm not too fond of the resort toilet paper either. Again, like sandpaper. And I think sandpaper on my tushy is way worse! :rotfl2:

So do you bring your own toilet paper also:lmao: If I did that I will need a whole different suitcase for the 5 of us plus my parents. I was thinking of taking tissues but beef said they were provided. Go figure I listened to a guy on that one. :rotfl: I hate sandpaper for tissues. It is more my DD that will need them. Her asthma makes her noise run. :sad2:

Tina I read that you had to give up the surprise of your inlaws staying at the Poly, were they surprised and excited? The limo ride should be fun and a good surprise too :cool1:

Hi Cheryl! Yeah, they were surprised. And just thrilled. MIL was really getting antsy about getting the Poly for the return night. She kept asking us, to the point of getting obnoxious, if any better rates had come out. At first, we kept telling her no, then we really started getting creative, but we just couldn't take it anymore. We spilled the beans, and told them we already had them booked, and we were' paying the difference. I was afraid she'd pick up the phone and call Disney herself!

They are sweet folks, and it was soo important to them to be at the same hotel at the end of the trip. I hated lying to them, even if it was to be a surprise. So, John & I brainstormed, and came up with the limo idea. They have no idea whatsoever!

Nancy......this sounds like great fun!! My sister wants me to go with her when it comes to the stage in Pittsburgh this February..........I sure would love too!!!:thumbsup2

Tina that's really sweet of you! It will be nice that you are all together and at least you still get to surprise them with the limo ride.

We have had such a busy summer I never PMed you after we got back from FL and our stay at Vero Beach. I'll still have to do that or we'll have to talk on the Magic. We loved Vero Beach, it is a very relaxing and beautiful resort. I walked around one day and took lots of pictures I should show you. You guys should definitely give it a try sometime. The highlight of our stay was we were there during turtle nesting season and we got to see 2 different turtles nesting, one was right in front of the resort!

Well, probably not on the cruise. But we have been known to go off property to buy good tissues and t.p.! Amazing what a difference it can make. DH doesn't have asthma, but he does have allergies, almost all the time. So, he really goes through a box of tissues!

Garage sale for tomorrow canceled:sad2: Weather is to darn unpredictable at this point. It is to stinking hot at 104 to do one, and the storms keep moving in.

Bummer. The weather is crazy hot here too.

my parents perfer late seating. I do on port days so you don't have to rush back but oh well. I am trying to make it as easy on my parents as I can

On our last cruise, we thought the same thing. But I got insanely hungry waiting to be seated. And I didn't want to eat anything and spoil my dinner. vowed that I would never to that to myself again.

Great job Steve :cheer2: Congrats on the weight loss :cheer2:

Thanks! Went to see my Doctor yesterday and wait through the entire appt for him to comment on the fact that this is the lightest I've been in 10 years and... nothing.

Did Chris get upgraded to a cat 1 or 2 suite? Cool if he did! :cool1:

Party at Chris'!

I actually found "travel size" rolls of Charmin at Target a few years ago and I pack them when we cruise. There have been a few bathrooms on Cozumel that I was glad to have had them along, they had no toilet paper at all

Her asthma is allergy caused and I refuse to have her tested this young so we never know what will set her off. I had her off all 3 of her meds for about 2 months during the summer but once school started her asthma kicked right back in and has been here ever since. :sad2:

Thanks Cheryl! I meant to ask (a while back!) how you enjoyed VB. How cool to be there during turtle nesting season. I would love to see photos! One day we'll get there. Especially as it is a home resort for us! :rotfl:

Do you have early seating this time? We have always done early seating, we don't like to eat too late, and it has always worked fine for us. It is a bit hectic on days were in port getting ready for dinner on time but then we are glad we had it when afterwards we can go to the show or realx before bed.

On our last cruise, we thought the same thing. But I got insanely hungry waiting to be seated. And I didn't want to eat anything and spoil my dinner. vowed that I would never to that to myself again.

Hi Steve! You did eventually mention it to him didn't you?! I would have jumped at the chance! :yay: Good for you!

Wow Steve your doctor must have been sleeping. Usually they are so quick to notice a change in weight and ask if you have been trying to loose. Congrats again!

Ooh! "travel size" Charmin. Gotta look for it.

I love looking at travel size stuff! Fun!

Night all! Hubby wants to use the computer. And I gotta work tomorrow, so I should be scooting off to bed!

I love the travel size stuff too! I just found some travel size laundry detergent at our local Walmart. It is a little 2oz. bottle of All Small & Mighty that will do 2 loads and it was less than a dollar. I'm going to pack that in a ziplock and bring it along!
