That is hilarious--did you see how much she got? Awesome for her. I feel that way at the grocery store sometimes and I only have 2!!! :eek: We just discovered a store here that has self-checkout and the boys LOVE that. It cracks them up to hear that little computer voice say, "$2.99, place item on shelf.....

I did see how much she got...I would have bought something for myself and rubbed the kids' noses in it!

Just kidding, I probably wouldn't :)

I've never done self-checkout here...maybe that would be worth checking out! I only have one, but it's not always easy getting through the grocery store. I'm going after work tonight, but my mom is watching DS while I go! Quality time with Grandma, and Mommy gets to shop in peace. Everyone wins!
 
It's raining again here in WI...we got water in the basement again last night. Not a lot, just enough to cover about 1/2 the floor in the storage room. There has just been no break in the rain for the water to evaporate and/or soak in to the ground. I'm so sick of rain...and it's supposed to last 2 more days! :scared:

I think I will take this opportunity (next week, since we're going away this weekend) to clean out the storeroom, and haul some stuff to Goodwill or the dump. Half of the stuff in my storage room is already out in the rec room anyway!

We're ok, just water in the basement as mentioned earlier.

I know I wasn't on last night because we were having lightning...didn't want to fry the PC.

We actually had a modem get fried by lightning once, and our garage door opener, of all things!
 
I think I will have to go to Pluto's RIGHT before dinner and fill up on chicken strips and fries, cus this one sucks!!!! :crazy2:

But I can't skip it because tonight is my fave dessert....
