The taking off and landing gets me. I'm praying this whole time. I'll handle the flight pretty well, but I can't look out the windows too much. If I start to think about how high I am...well...I get a bit woozy. I can get nauseous standing a the base of a tall building and looking up.

I pray from the time the engines are put in full force to go down the runway until the plane is off the ground. Funny because any problems will be happen through the full ascent.

I'm fine with landing, and that is when most errors could occur. That is when the Pilot earns his pay.

So here's a question, if GC is hit hard by Dean, what do you think the substitute port will be?

Do you think we'll do Costa Maya and Cozumel?

What about a Double Dip on CC? Would anyone mind skipping Key West for that?

Robin here...
Taking off and landings are my fav part of flying. I love speed! I figure if it's my time to go... it's my time to go.

I'd rather do Costa Maya than another CC a second day. I definately want to go to Key West, because I haven't been there. I may feel differently after I see it. :confused3

Sunday night FO?

Heather

Gee, you got a fo with Jeff on here... What's up with that? :confused3
Did you fall asleep Jeff? :)

I haven't been trying to steal the FO's, it just happens to be when I'm posting. :rolleyes1

Plus, I don't want to upset our UK friends. Yeah, that's it. :rotfl:

I'm outta here.

I'll be back later. Got a few things to do before work tomorrow.

Now, you wouldn't upset anyone on purpose would you :thumbsup2

This is a depressing site... the last day of the cruise and leaving Castaway Cay. All of the brown foliage in the background is from Hurricane Wilma that passed by a few days earlier. The adult beach was still pretty messy but, they worked 24 hrs a day to prepare for our arrival.
We were thankful they did.
Right Cass & Rob and Walt & Di. :thumbsup2

Yeah, they did a great job with the family beach...adult beach was a different story :rolleyes1 We won't be going to the adult beach this time. It will be our first experience with the Family Beach

Check out this pic from DCL 05. Mike laughs at me because all I ever have for breakfast while on the ship is oatmeal & toast with juice and his plate is always full.

OMG!!! I never noticed that. Mike's food is touching!!! How did he ever eat that? :confused3

Oh wow!! What is wrong with Mike??? :confused3 All of his food is touching!!! :lmao: Ooooh...so breakfast is allowed to touch?? :rotfl2:

PARROT CAY

Me no likey the apps

My choices are above.

If we go back to St Maarten, I will throw a tantrum, everyone is warned now :lmao:

Robin, my sentiments EXACTLY!!! I love the take off and landing, I love the dip you feel right after the body lifts off from the ground, Rob and I always smile cheesy grins at each other when we feel the "dip" ::yes::

And like Robin said, when it's my time to go, it's my time to go. I just hope it's not Kira's time to go too :sad1:

And I also want to see Key West but after hearing how hot it is, I may never want to go back once I get there :rotfl2: Maybe it will rain that day :woohoo:

Robin - I only like the take off's and landings at the start...I hate the ones at the end as it means the holiday is over.:sad1:
