October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 5

I was thinking about doing just that. I don't have much but I thought that I could probably get a few dollars from one. I mostly just need to rid myself of some of my stuff.

I don't have much either. Maybe about $50 worth. But I love holding garage sales and our community will only let us 2 times a year on their dates. So when a friend is willing to have one a throw my stuff in and then I help run it. I am the organizational one that continully moves things around for presentation to help them sell. One of my friends was amazed that I never sat down the whole day. I was always up moving things as other things sold. I really did not care how much I made it was just that I was happy organizing things.

At this point every penny helps towards the cruise. I really don't want to have to charge much at all. When my mother got ill and I took a month and half off work we had to put alot on our charge cards. All the bills and food and stuff. It did not help that kelsey moved in the same time so we had to get her a whole wordrobe. So before April we had one card with a low balance. Now I have the disney card maxed, another card with a low balance and another card with about $1000 left for the cruise if needed. I really hate credit cards.

It was also a tought first half of the year medically for Mac so that added up. But I was so happy that we did not charge any of that. But her meds sure add up. About $150 every 3 months and then mine are $50 every 3. Sad things is all of here are due at the same time and then I am trying to make mine on a different month then hers.

Jeff, you've made stealing f.o.'s into an artform. i always am waiting to see if you are lurking. Sometimes it's not a surprise so I would give you a 2 or 3 but sometimes you come from nowhere and you rank a definite 10!

We are having a PJ morning. I love these mornings. It is just normally Mac and I when we have them so it is a little different with K & K here. They are busy doing homework, and Mac has decided that pj's are not good enough for her today she wants to play dress up so she just went up stairs to change.

We had one of these today...Rick's done editting on our Alaska video and Ive done scrapping. A real relaxing day.

I'm with you. I no sooner get the doggone things paid off then they are charged up again! I wanted to put a new wood floor in the family room next year and now I think that I will be instead paying off credit cards. That's why I told my wife that from now on we don't go on vacation until it is paid off.

It took us 5 years to pay off our wedding. It was on a total of 4 cards. We finally got them paid off last December. I did not even make it 4 months before we had to charge them up again. Oh well. I was not about to work while my mom was in the hospital and we had no clue what was wrong with her.

I love relaxing days but it drives the kids nuts. So by the time the day is half over they have driven me nuts and then we have to go out and do something just to save my sanity.

I am half way through the closet. Poor Scott he will not know what hit him. He hates it when I get ready for garge sales. I get rid of anything that is not nailed to the floor. I have elminated a whole 3 drawer rolling tote. But I got ride of it to make room for a larger 3 drawer tote for my scrap booking stuff. I feel it is a fair trade.
