Not to mention we're not politically biased here.

I am all over watching the "H's". I in to watching the systems come off of the west coast of Africa (that's where they'll be coming from if we have any issues). To get to the Caribbean, it would either have to form there or come on a low (southerly) path so it doesn't get scooped up into the Atlantic. You will on rare occassion get one that will come straight through the Leeward Islands into the Carribbean. If that happens, we really need to look out. It could be very powerful.

How about we hope for one to come through on Thursday passing over Cuba so that we have to stay in the western part of the Caribbean for a couple extra days. Make this cruise a 9 or 10 nighter.

Now I have to go to a PTSO meeting. School hasn't even started and I have meetings already. Isn't that odd? I guess it is the meeting to schedule the meetings. Hmm... someone has way too much time on their hands.

Guess they are not going on a disney cruise so they have no Dis boards to read religiously.

we are packing this weekend. plan on leaving monday morning. make sure you bring some gas money. ill have to go on mapquest to find the polar ice cap. thats where they live, right?

I decided to go and see who has taken the most of the 1000 mark posts....meaning who got post number 1000, 2000, 3000, etc. So the totals are:

oybolshoi - 4 in total (6000, 7000, 8000, and 16000)

JLDSMD and cntkg1 are tied with 3 each

Lindy Loo, A fat English Gent, and Dyerneeds each have 2

and

Cheryl N WI, MinnMIck1, Wine Diva and Scouter each have 1

I didn't know we had a contest going. Guess I'll have to try harder. Let's look at the ones divided by 5,000:

Jeff: 2 - 5,000 and 15,000
Nancy: 1 - 10,000
Victoria: 1 - 20,000

I'm winning that one.

We're getting like the Aug Repo is. They had it divided by Wenches (women) and Swabbies (men). Based on that, the men are losing 13-7 here, although I argue that Nancy is on the men's team. Just kidding you Goose.

You get a nice gift in your room.

They use to have a nice reception for us, but now what they have is lame. Not worth the time. Just go and score some Mickey Rice Krispie bars and leave. The old reception had a nice spread of cheeses, shrimp, and other appetizers.

That's typical for them. They will get about this far off, then bump their server and be back to normal time. Couple of months later they will be back to 20 minutes behind.
