Heather, Thanks for the udpate on Linda. I am glad things are looking up for her. I'm glad we will still get to meet her in October.

Hi everyone!

Happy B'day to Rob x2, and to Steve! Also to Cass' dad.

Paige - glad to see you're back! Are you all moved in?

Cass - love the pictures of Kira! The small fry outfit is toooooo cute!

Great news about Linda & family! Thanks Heather for keeping us up to date on Linda's situation. Tell her if she can't get a brunch on board for her to find me. I'll bug concierge til they get one!

ok guys cinnamike here. we just got back from the falls.
quick story. we never gamble but since our hotel was next to the casino we popped over to play a couple dollars in the slots.
while robin was playing some rich looking guy came over and said " ill give you one million dollars for one night with your wife".:thumbsup2 we looked at each other and said " ok".:rotfl2: so needless to say we will be buying the strawberry smoothies for all on this cruise.

we did get home in time to see big brother. yes!! jen is safe. she is a JENious.
did you see that written on her pants!!! what an "asset" she is to the show

well i see you guys have been busy. we have a lot of reading to do. thats ok. i am on vacation this week so ill be here to annoy everyone with my sick brand of humor.:thumbsup2

Karen, I did not need a software program to print my t-shirt transfers out. I just used Cass's creation and printed it out on my paper. It was super easy!!:thumbsup2

QotD..The only movie we saw on the Magic was Pirates 2. We forgot about the BV Theatre until we tagged someone's cabin door which was across from the theatre. By then, it was too late.:confused3

Hmmm, I could not get it to print any way other then with the software. Which it came with the pack of transfer sheets so I was not to concerned.

I'll probably take in one or two depending on what is playing. It's not easy to get a sitter so, we don't really see too many movies.

What is a sitter? Hmm, maybe we should try to invest in one of those. We never go see movies. One reason is me and me being picky but the other reason is we don't have a sitter. So on that note maybe we will try to see one just him and I. That would be a date for us.

Scott and I have decided against the T-shirts. Before we left for the store I was looking that the one I did for Mackenzie. (Yes the back design was ruined) but I was looking at the front. I really liked that logo. I don't know what I did wrong with it but I decided to fold the shirt. WRONG thing to do. The logo cracked. The more I looked at it and the more the kids played with it, the whole logo has cracked. Then Scott mentioned that if we washed it in the machine it would be toast. So we looked for other transfers, but did not find any. He is very picky for T-shirts because he used to silk screen. So he has now decided we are not going to sink more money into them.

I will try to take a pic for the front and back so you can see what has happened and maybe someone can tell me what I did wrong.

This is the front. See all the white cracking marks. That was from folding it and then Mackenzie streatching it to put it on and the kids playing with it.

What happened?

Here is the back

I messed this one up because of the cracking at the top of the ears was from ironing it on. It looked like that when I took the backing off. But the other cracking was from folding and such. The Mexico flag got stuck to the stable surface while it was hot and peeled off onto the table. :sad2:

What happened?

That's a bummer! I got similar bad results when I used some transfers that had been sitting in my drawer for a long time. I assumed that they do not have much of a shelf life. But, I don't know that for sure.

BTW: Can you believe what they made Eric do this week! It seems to me that those who are voting are TRYING to screw Eric up. If I was him, I would have just said "Sorry, America, I'm going it alone this week."

Geez, it only took me about 8 years
Um, you 8, me ..um.. another 20 at least at my pace.

Ok, as promised....

Here is the front of the outfit again...

You guys have a wonderful day. I can't wait to meet you two.

Happy Birthday to you as well! I am looking forward to meeting you as well um, just don't get me into trouble... ;)

But we have seen lots of movies in our stateroom! In fact, everytime we cruise, we see the same movies over and over and over. First, we see the middle of it, then the end of it, then the middle again, then the end again and if we are REALLY lucky, we will catch the beginning of it and then we can say we saw the WHOLE movie :lmao:

LOL it's pretty funny how we see the movies on board :)
Looking forward to seeing which movies we do that too this time, though lets not be sick.
************************

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone! With the image limit and all the nice smilies, I would be editing forever to say thanks; but the three of us really appreciate it :)
Looking forward to meeting Rob & Steve soon, perhaps a belated party for the three of us; on pirate night! pirate:

Where's my UK friends? :confused3

Where's my late night North American friends? :confused3

It's just past 2 AM here and I just finished my last entry for year-end. My trial balance goes to the Auditors when I get into the office later this morning (only 6 hours from now).

They come in on Tuesday morning.

Now I just have to do lead schedules for them.

The end is very near now.

Hopefully this is the last of the late nights for me until next year.

Oh geez, I am dreading making these t shirts now:sad2:

I'm not going to think about it til after our hol. Too many other things to think and worry over - they'll just have to go to the back of the list.

T-Shirt transfers:

I used Avery dark t-shirt transfers. You don't reverse the image either (which is really no big deal anyway). I also used white Hanes t-shirts and K & J used pink t-shirts from the gap.

I just put a pillow case on the kitchen counter and used that as my base. Put the transfer on the shirt, the tissue papery thingy they give you in the pack on top of that and ironed it for no more than one minute. VOILA!! Perfect results! :thumbsup2

I think Cass uses a different name brand of transfers though and gets excellent results too. I tired Georgia Pacific brand once and didn't like it as much.
