Cass that video of Kira is too cute! She is such a sweety

While she was playing this morning, Kira stopped to look at the TV (I have it on but she rarely watches it) and The Wiggles came on. They are a children's dancing/singing troupe from Australia...she watched for about 30 seconds and then........she started to DANCE!!!!!!!!!!

I rewound the 1 minute clip three times and she danced every time! I got the third time on video...

Right after this, Rob sent me a link to an article about how TV is really bad for kids and that it teaches them nothing!!! I told him "I beg to differ, our girl just learned how to dance by watching the Wiggles on TV!!"

We are! We have Goofy pirate bandana type hats and 1 of the Goofy ears has a pirate earing in it and then we have pirate type shirts and sashes or vests and balck pants. A lot of people were "dressed up" for Pirate night on our cruise last year.

How many of you are "dressing up" for Pirate night?

We left Milwaukee July 4th and made it to Tahoe July 8th. We spent a week in Tahoe and San Francisco then started back to WI. We were gone 20 days and it was great, but at time challenging with 6 people together for that amount of time. We have 1700 photos, don't worry I won't post them all. I want to post pictures of all who will be on the cruise so you can see us all.

You had a system crash. Do you run Vista or XP? Are you frequently having these "Blue screens of death?" Have you done anything mechanically to your computer lately? (added hardware either inside the computer or on a USB port?

Hi Steve, I have XP and did not add or remove anything from my computer lately. AOL did want to do some kind of automatic update when I logged off the first time though. I figured the update was done because nothing was happening for a long long time. When I went to click onto AOL again, that's when it turned blue.

You got the blue screen of death I hate it when that happens! I got a case of BSOD a few weeks ago, Rob ended up redoing my computer. It happens to the best of us. Might want to start backing things up!

Sorry to hear about the tooth. I just spent the last month at my dentist ok, it only felt like a whole month and I don't ever want to go back

Thanks, I just hope I can get in to see the dentist tomorrow for a temporary crown. I sure don't want to go like this for the entire weekend although it might be good for my diet.

Nancy I hope you can get into your dentist tomorrow! They should have "emergency" slots for things like this. I broke a tooth almost 2 years ago and of course it was when my dentist was off but they got me in the same day with his associate to do something temporary. Good luck

As promised, here are the rules of the DIStag game for the new Konked Kruisers.

I think we need to set a deadline for participating as some of our KK's are leaving home up to 2 weeks before cruising and they'll need the updated list. So how does Aug 1st sound? Anyone wanting to play with us will have to let us know by then. Fair enough?



All DIStag participants will purchase a small gift from their hometown to give to all taggers. We will receive a spread sheet made up by your's truly, at our first DISmeet (time and place still to be determined). In addition to the spread sheet you will receive some sort of magnet. The list will look something like this:

oybolshoi Brenda Cabin 6580 (I'm STILL not giving up )
LindyLoo Linda Cabin 4321
etc.....

You will start with the person listed directly below your name. Deliver your "gift" and leave the magnet at the top of their cabin door. Should your "gift" be too large to fit in the 'fish mail holder', locate any Stateroom Host/ess and request they take your gift directly into the room. When someone leaves you a gift and the magnet, deliver your surprise and received magnet to the next person on your list-and so on. When you get to the last person 'participating' at the bottom of the page (LindyLoo in our example)...start at the top of the list (JLDSMD). Continue until you get to the person listed above YOUR name.

So if I've still managed to confuse you, this is the skinny of it all...

Jeff takes one of his gifts and his magnet. He tags Nancy's door with the magnet and puts his gift on the 'fish mail holder'. Now he waits until someone tags his door. (In our example LindyLoo would start with Jeff). He will take that new magnet and a new gift and tag Brenda's door. He waits again until he gets tagged and then tags Linda's door and leaves behind a gift.

So this means if we have 20 DISers who want to play tag, we will each have to bring 19 little gifts.

We have all week to play and we'd probably cut it off on Thursday. Any leftover gifts at that point can just be left on fish mail holders without tagging with the magnets.

When we played this on our other cruise the gifts were anything from personalized pencils, bumper stickers, candy, yummy hometown recipes (Yorkshire pudding mmmmm), keychains, playing cards etc.... Most were packed in gift baggies and labeled with the name of the DISer who left it behind.

So in a nutshell, we all start the game at the same time, right after the DISmeet on Saturday at 3:00 if you want. Once you are tagged with the magnet, take that same magnet and tag the next person on your list and leave a gift for them. Again, by Thursday if you have any left over gifts, just drop them off at the player's doors without leaving a magnet for them.

The email for Lindy Loo is because back in July (I think the 20th) she was flooded out of her home. It was waist high of sewage water and who knows what else. She has lost everything downstairs. They had to get storage for upstairs items because of lutters. They are living out of a hotel for the next 6 to 9 months, unless they can find someplace to rent. She can not get on the thread because she does not have any of her access info. So there is an email that is floating around for people to comment on and then it will be sent on to her.

Hi Lori I'm Lynn. DH Chris Emptynesters. Oops, forgot the 4lb.8oz. chihauhau. Her name is Morsel. This is our 5th Cruise with the mouse.
