How many of you are "dressing up" for Pirate night? Still trying to decide what to do. DH is not interested in participating, so he'll wear his tropical shirt that night. I'm thinking the girls & I will wear pirate themed t-shirts. Can we wear shorts that night in the dining room?

undecided if we are dressing up that nite. personally i would LOVE to see robin in that wench costume again.pirate:
are our tablemates walt and di dressing up?

A beautiful sight. Anyone been in a hot air balloon?

Heather

How lovely! - we did a ballooning trip on two seperate holidays with Orange Blossom Balloons in Florida. It was brilliant - very peaceful and slow - not at all as I was expecting. They dip the bottom of the basket in lakes and then skim over tree tops so you can lean out and grab a leaf etc. Brilliant. HIGHLY RECOMENDED. The only downside is getting up at 5am:rolleyes:

I'll definately do it again when we have more $$$

Thanks for all the PM's everyone. :grouphug: Really, I'm fine.:thumbsup2 Just very very busy here at work. We have 3 salespeople out for 2 weeks and I have to cover for them and do my own job. :scared1:

My computer at home decided to be a jerk while I was booking the kids excursions on Sunday night. I haven't been able to use it since.:badpc: :badpc: :badpc: On top of that, I FINALLY get my RoadRunner installed tomorrow night and now I have nothing to try it out on.:sad2:

I can't even imagine an entire weekend without the DIS. :sad2: :guilty: :sad2:

Any computer geeks out there willing to make a road trip to Wisconsin to fix it for free? I can't dump any more money into it because now I'll have to pay my dentist a nice chunk of change to fix the tooth I broke on a tomato today. :faint: :( :headache: :charac2:

It's been a great week.

I know they do give boarding numbers. But you'll be in the first group anyway since you're in a cat 2.

It would be fun though to be 1st on the ship!

It would be fun to be the 1st on. Maybe they will see such a large KKer group that they will let us all on at one time.

We were second on the Wonder when we sailed it. We were either first or second in line (can't remember), but Suz wanted to stop for the picture (we took longer than the other people). So, we would have been first. This was under the old boarding process.

Under the new boarding process, unless you are Cat 1-3 or handicapped, the lowest number you will get is 2. So, you won't be the first on the ship unless you fall in one of the other groups above.

The terminal's shop is very small so not much to do there, but if you get there early, you can get a seat in the waiting area (DCL has too few seats). They have cartoons running on tv's. There is a model of the ship to look at and the characters do come out for pictures. You can go out on a deck and look at the actual ship as well.

That is too neat!!! So they pretty much bring up a group at a time and you get in line and go on family by family to get your picture taken?

I want to go out on the deck this time and look at the ship... yeahhh... i can hardly wait.

We were all just alittle concerned.:goodvibes So what's wrong w/your computer?

You broke your tooth on a TOMATO???:flower3: Maybe you should have let it ripen alittle longer.
Glad everything is okay.

While she was playing this morning, Kira stopped to look at the TV (I have it on but she rarely watches it) and The Wiggles came on. They are a children's dancing/singing troupe from Australia...she watched for about 30 seconds and then........she started to DANCE!!!!!!!!!! :dance3: :lmao:

I rewound the 1 minute clip three times and she danced every time! I got the third time on video...:rolleyes1

Right after this, Rob sent me a link to an article about how TV is really bad for kids and that it teaches them nothing!!! I told him "I beg to differ, our girl just learned how to dance by watching the Wiggles on TV!!" :rotfl2:

That is adorable!! And for you to get it right then is super great. Usually those "firsts" are hard to catch on video or film.

Oh you guys have to wear your costumes!!! ::yes:: They were awesome!!! And Robin, a wench needs a lot of ...personality!

What kind of tomatoes do you have in Wisconsin exactly??

We have two digital cameras and a camcorder, usually all within my reach of the couch near Kira's play area :rolleyes1

You won't be sorry for all of that. I did find that when my second one came along we didn't take nearly the amount of pictures and videos we used to take of the first kid. Poor poor Trevor...

Well I am off to work for a couple of hours. Love these evening hours in 100 degree heat. Such is life....

Did I mention that the tomato was attached to a piece of candy?? Just Kidding!!:lmao:

Actually, I noticed that the tooth had a crack in it this morning. I only had pineapple, cantaloupe, and strawberries for breakfast. For lunch I had a salad with nothing hard in it at all. I usually eat my tomatoes like an apple. I eat the whole thing including the the nubbie end where the stem was. It had to be that part that broke the tooth. Nothing else could've done it.

I called Kristin because she worked in a dental office for two years and because it's an old filling with mercury, she is a little worried about it. Actually, she's a lot worried! She picked up some stuff for it at the drug store and tried to do a little repair job until I call the dentist tommorrow.

Now the computer...it kept freezing up on me when I was booking excursions on Sunday night. I couldn't get it to do anything. I logged off of AOL and back on again and that's when my screen turned blue with some writing on it. I did the old cntrl alt delete and nothing happened . I turned it off completely and then when we powered it back up it worked for a day. It took me 5 hours total to book one stinkin' excrusion! Same thing happened Monday night and it's been cr@ppy ever since. I'll be amazed if this post goes through.

Yes, I cleared my temp internet files, and cleared out the cookies. Maybe it's just this stupid dial up. Tomorrow....ROADRUNNER!!:cheer2:

One more thing...would it be horribly wrong of me to blame the broken tooth on Karen? I was trying a "Karen Diet" this week for a few days (Fruits and veggies) and now I have a broken tooth. Karen, you owe me $700.00!!:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Wisconsin is a bit far for me to do a repair:lmao:
What exactly went wrong? Sometimes I can figure it out and tell you how to fix it yourself. Hardware related problems, believe it or not is the easiest. It's usually a lot simpler that you think. If it is a software problem that may be more difficult

You had a system crash. Do you run Vista or XP? Are you frequently having these "Blue screens of death?" Have you done anything mechanically to your computer lately? (added hardware either inside the computer or on a USB port?
