To all you ebayers out there....I came across this when I was packing...I got it at MGM when I got in the hot seat. It's a Who Wants to be a Millionaire - Play it! Lanyard and I put my 10 pins that I won on it.

Do you think it will sell if I list it???

I've only ever sold 1 thing on ebay so I don't know much about selling. :confused3

I accidentally deleted my membership to the konked kruiser site, please get me back in.

I see that we have only done 3 pages this evening, what is wrong with you people do you think you are allowed to have lives outside of this site?

How dare you:rotfl2:

It is raining tonight and my DH is working 3rd again, he was not feeling great but he will never call in sick. He is working 2 jobs and I think he is just wiped out. Only 9 more months then he can hopefully quit. We are trying to get ahead of everything and we are almost there.

We have booked all the things that we plan on doing as of tonight,

Key West: We are wondering on our own and taking the trolley tour, we do it every time.

Grand Cayman: We are booked on stingray city and reef snorkel through an outside vendor for much cheaper

Cozumel: David and the DD & DDBF are horseback riding and Sean and I are Semi-subing

Castaway Cay: Para-sailing at 10:30 am

Palo on the Key West night at 7 pm but hoping to change that to 8-8:30 pm when we get on the ship.

What is everyone else doing?

Judy:laundy:

You were on the show? I am not sure how it would sell. I know that DIS pins sell good, but other then that I don't have any experience with them.

Just trying to finalize one more excursion with DH. Communicating through his pager is always so much fun. While I wait on him I am just cleaning up my wish list on DCL website so it is ready to go tomorrow.

What is this about a life. I think I have spent most of my afternoon and evening on here. To make matters worse we got invited out for tomorrow night and DH told them no because our cruise bookings were opening and we had to be home in order to do that. I am begining to think we don't have a life. :rotfl:

Tried looking at more Palo tnight and the system won't let me book anything, do you think it is becasue they may be loading more in because of the open booking coming on the 6th/ I hope so I am looking for better times for Palo

Good night all, the kids are yelling for me to put them to bed

Judy:cool1: :coffee: :hourglass

Yeah, I made it into the hot seat in 2002. :woohoo:

If you want to read about my experience, here is an excerpt from my 2002 Trip Report...

Rob was urging me to go play Millionaire again so I said ok and we headed over again to Mickey Avenue. We played the Fastest Finger questions and some 11 year old kid made it into the hot seat by answering in .07 seconds! I guess it pays off if you just press random buttons! The kid was very frustrating for the host, asking his Grandmother for the answers and interrupting him all the time. His Grandmother also shouted out the answers and you could just see the host getting frustrated but keeping his cool just like a good host should do : They stopped halfway to see the audience top ten and I was # 3 and Rob was #6 : The kid ended up getting all the way to 8000 points because of his "extra" lifelines but blew it because he ran out of life lines and the questions were way too hard for him. So, they showed the top ten audience board and Rob was #5!!! He was in seat 599 and then they showed #4 and #3 and #2 and then take a big pause before they show you the #1 contestant. Rob was whispering something about me not being up there and then they showed the # 1 and it was seat number 600!!!!! YAY!! That was me :) :) :)
Man, what a nervous wreck I was! Somehow I made it down to the stage floor without falling on my face and the stage manager shook my hand and said congratulations. He lead me into the hot seat and asked me my name and where I was from and I told him Alberta, Canada. He was telling something about how he was going to be visiting Alberta but not until June and blah blah blah, I was so nervous I didn't hear what he said : He whispered into his little microphone and with perfect timing, the host said "everybody please welcome Cass, all the way from Alberta Canada!!" I can't tell you how nerve-wracking it was at first, I am not used to being in the "spotlight" and I tried VERY hard to ignore the 640 other people that I just KNEW were ALL staring at me : The host asked me if there was someone in the audience cheering me on and I said (with a nervous crackly voice) my wonderful husband, Robert. And of course, Rob being Rob, he was cheering as loud as he possibly could and jumping up and down HAHA. The host looks at me and says "Your husband is VERY proud of you Cass!" LOL So we started the game and flew through the first few questions to hit the first plateau. He told me to relax and take a small break while he checked the audience top ten board. When we got back to the game he asked me about my first memory of Disney since it's the 100 Years Celebration. I mumbled something about when my parents first took me and my two brothers and two sisters to WDW in 1975. I was still nervous and couldn't remember what I said (I later had to ask Rob if I said anything stupid : He said I was well poised and did a great job)
So we continued the game and the 2,000 pt question was a Disney question…no problem! My next question was where was Jimmy Carter born? I had no idea so I polled the audience and 78% said Georgia, so I went with that : My next question was a Star Wars Episode 1 question hahahaha! Now, the major difference between this game and the Network game on TV is that you have a time limit. By this time I was a lot more relaxed and took my time and said "Well, my husband would kill me if I got this question wrong, since he's the biggest Star Wars fan" and Rob was sitting in the audience saying…DOH!! Hurry and answer the question !!!
Next question was Morgan, Dean, Stanley and WHO? Which I knew right way was Witter.

So, hitting my second plateau of 32,000 pts, we stopped and checked the audience top ten list again. My 64,000 pt question was What was Diane Keaton's Broadway Premiere? I was pretty positive but wanted to narrow it down just in case so I used my 50/50 and it left my guess and something else, so feeling confident, I picked Hair and got it right!

My 125,000 pt question was:Who said:If you don't have anything nice to say, come sit by me? Well, for some reason, the name Dorothy Parker just popped into my head and when the answers came up and I saw Dorothy Parker, I just went with my gut but I was wrong! It was Alice Roosevelt!! Oh well, I only lost a pin by going for it and I had an absolute blast playing! I was lead into a little room where they took my info down and gave me my prizes. Two minutes later, Rob walked in with the host and they both congratulated me. I got a hat, a very nice polo shirt, ten pins and a lanyard.

Come to think of it now...I also have a Millionaire Polo shirt that was only worn once (by Rob! :lmao: ) and a hat!!

Yes, you played for points not money. But if you got the million point question right, you won a Disney cruise!

I wish they never got rid of this show, everytime we went, it was filled to capacity and was so much fun, even if you never got in the hot seat!! :woohoo:

That is way cool! I never got picked for that thing! Even when DCA's version was tanking and there were just a few people in there.

...but not before I claim this FO :rolleyes1 :p

g'night

AFEG, I need to find out your daughters fave Disney restaurant for distag please.

She liked the fancy one at animal kingdom, were not really into the eating thing some may think am speaking with forked tongue when they see my gut...:rolleyes1 but as me and the kids don't do real fancy we just stuck to the chicken strips places, and as we all know a Disney chicken strip is a Disney chicken strip wherever you eat it in Disney...:lmao:

Robin here...

Just a quick hi to everyone.

This was the first good day I've had since I had to start dealing with my parents on June 21st.

Got up this morning... did tae bo and weights. Then went for a 25 min. speed walk. Did some surfing to find a hotel for Niagara Falls, ate lunch, then Mike & I went for a bike ride.

At 5pm we went to a barbecue at Scrappers field (Minor league baseball team) and just got home.

It's so nice to get back to a normal routine.

I have to say it is a little hard to enjoy yourself when your parents are locked up in a nursing home. :guilty:

It's going to take some major adjusting. :sad2:

Robin don't be sad love you did the best for them and have nothing to feel guilty about...

ps..... Am told they like patients to look sad when someone visits them because otherwise they can't stop others coming and over filling the places....

They look to be having a whale of a time to me,keep smiling kid and like Cass said,it's time to relax again...Your round dear...:rolleyes1

Good morning folks.:goodvibes

The sun is shining, Daddy is coming home tonight and I am in a good mood. I have been eating more or less just vegetables for 2 days and I have lost 4lb:banana:

I get to treat myself this morning to a small bowl of shreddies:rotfl2:

Have a great day everyone. We're off to family water splash this morning then a dip in the outdoor pool while the sun is shining:cool1:

After that its off to the local park on our bikes - calories...calores...must burn calories:yay: :yay:

I did some more packing....organized the garage...wrapped Rob's bday presents....put pincess to bed, ate some supper, watched a little bit of tv and now I am gonna go over our wdw itinerary and do some surfing :cool1:

Might end up doing some more packing....depends on how energetic I feel :rolleyes1

So that's what you were up too! Great job on the garage, I didn't have to worry about slipping coming into the house for a change.

I still don't think you should sell it, but that's coming from a pin collector.

Yeah, wish I could have done the Star Wars trivia once, I think I would have done well... :(

Well, its time for bed for me now that I have caught up and wound down from a long day. Have a good morning everyone and we'll have to do a birthday celebration on the ship Steve!

Are you ready for booking tomorrow?? I wish someone knew more about the San Gervaiso tour on Cozumel. Passporter gives it a low rating, but doesn't really give too much info. Teddy would love to see some ruins, but Tulum is just too much for Zachary. What's a mom to do?

There are some ruins at Chakaanab (bad spelling sorry!).

Heather

Afternoon everyone. I expect everyone is busy with their ressies today.

Bit of a quiet one for Rick and I. I've got lunch on and I think I need to do some scrapping otherwise I'll never get the Alaska trip finished.

Anyhoo .... speak later

Oh yeah! An on-ship celebration will be one birthday that I do not mind!
