Looks like it will be a split series between the Birds and the Brewers... don't know what happened yesterday but for just a while there they looked like the old Cardinals (the ones that knew how to play winning baseball).

Jay and I went to see the Simpson's movie yesterday... it was entertaining... not as good as it could have been but still worth it if you're a fan of the series at all. I think my favorite parts are with Spider-Pig - I'm trying to find a way to download the song so that I can add it to my cell phone as a ring tone. :rotfl2:

Jeff, here are the 3 threads with the DISers going on our cruise.

Maybe we should ask Steve to edit his first post and add some info on it about us (KK nickname etc) and how new people should just jump on in to our thread and ignore the first 1000 or so pages :lmao:

Thanks Cass.

The person in the first link has been on the DIS for quite some time - over 10,000 posts. Hopefully they will see your invite.

Did you see in the second one someone mentioned that the Unmentionable L may be moved to the 23rd? That would suck because by then we will be in Grand Cayman. Won't see anything from there.

In the last one, I see the Disser is from Milwaukee and is named Lisa. Wonder if that is the one Judy mentioned in her post yesterday? She works with a person going on our cruise.

Hope the three posters find there way over.

And yes, maybe we can get Steve to edit his post to point people to the end and just jump in. Also to not be affraid of all the posts.

Also, I see Abby posted over on the third link this morning. Hope she comes back and joins us here. I don't remember the last time she posted here.

Nothing is over until the last out. Look what happened in Game 1 yesterday.

You don't blow leads like that in the 9th. Reminds me of when the Brewers first started this slump. It was down in Texas and Cordero got his first lost. He blew a 3 run lead I think down there.

Did he not have the loss yesterday too?

We were on our way out the door during the 9th inning of game 1, so I'm not sure if Cordero was the loser or not, but it sure sounds familiar.

I'm just concerned that if the Brewers don't start playing a little better they're going to be overtaken by the Cubs. Once that happens I think the division race is over - Chicago is playing awfully good baseball right now.

Dh here, Bet you wish they could play our Diamondbacks again?:rotfl:

you are correct, Cordero was the loser yesterday.:sad1:

I think they will lose the lead by the end of the week. Just hoping they can be in first when they start August.

Not sure if the Cubs will stumble, but they have been on a streak lately.

The Brewers on the other hand have been playing .400 ball for about 2 months now. Won't get anywhere like that.

Just checked. They went from 5-0 to 5-4. I believe it is the end of the 6th.

No, I don't. D-backs are .547. The Brewers can't beat a team over .500.

Heck, they are having problems with the ones in the .400's.

They are becoming the Brewers we are used to over the past 15-20 years.

At least this year, they stayed in first for a long time and gave us some hope. Even if they back door the playoffs, I can not see them win the first series.

Today's questions:

How many trips have you been on to a Disney park, cruise or DVC resort (i.e. Hilton Head or Vero - in case you only went there)? Treat a WDW/Cruise trip as one trip (the trip is from when you leave your house until you get back, so anything Disney you did while you were gone is considered one Disney experience). It may be fun to list out how many times you've been to each place (for this, you could list WDW and DCL each once, even though for the QOA it would only be 1 trip).

My answer to yesterday's question: Chris, because he would crack me up every night at dinner. Wouldn't need to go to the comedy show.

DH here, Ok so I have missed the last few Q O T D's I recall one asking about who to eat with. I am going to say cinnamike in hopes he brings a little cinnamon to dinner.:rotfl:

As for what Disney places. This is my first time on DCL, but I have been to Disneyland. Growing up in Souther California, my first DL adventure was at the age of 2. Goofy scared the stuffing out of me while on the merry-go-round. There is not way for me to recall how many times I have been to DL, but it is in the ballpark of 20 times. One day I do hope to make it to WDW, though.

DH here, Yes but the last time they played the Brewers sweeped them. I think this is what started the downspin of the Brewers, and the win streak for the Dbacks.

The question you missed was "would you skip dinner if the unmentionable L was scheduled at 6:00 p.m.? What if you were in Animator's Palate and it was the only time they were doing the "show"?"

DH here, It depends on what is for dinner, we have late seating so I do not think the L thing would affect us.

I just had to share this photo....:lmao:

Sunday afternoon is always Daddy-Kira time as he doesn't get to see her much during the week.

So they were downstairs playing and I hear Rob "Awww yuck! She puked on me!" :rotfl2:

Ran downstairs to help...this is what I found...

O.K. the third part of the question was would you skip the Welcome Aboard show.

Or, you could look at it hypothetically and assume you had early and then answer the question.
