Here is a pic of my not so little princess: this is her senior year photo that will be going in her high school yearbook this coming September. She is making this old pop, feeling his age.......

Nice pic Andy.

They sure grow up quick.

Good morning, I just looked at your website. It is amazing. I will have to spend some more time on it later tonight when all the kids have gone to bed.

Yeah, you will need some time to peruse my sight :rolleyes1 A lot of it is outdated now as I designed it in 2005 but I won't be updating it until after we get back from this upcoming trip.

Oh my goodness, Andy she has turned into a gorgeous young lady! You must be so proud! I remember seeing pics from a Trip Report many many years ago and she was just a little girl! ::yes:: So much for that little girl huh...she's now a gorgeous woman! I would lock her up if I were you :lmao: :rotfl2:

Looks like it is down to Cass, Andy and I.

Where did Nancy and Karen go?

Has she looked into a second job just for the summer to supplement the reduction from B-A-B?

Funny you should mention that Jeff. Angelina worked one day at The Deb a few weeks ago, but decided working retail wasn't for her, so she left. The manager at B-a-B said the hours should start getting back to normal once school starts.

Those two are sneaky, we better watch out! ::yes::

Actually, I should be disappearing again soon...my little princess is due for a nap soon. :thumbsup2

In answer to today's question.

There is no way to count the number of times that I have been to DL. I live 6 hours away and go there frequently. During the course of my marriage to Laura I think that we have been there aprox 15 times over 12 years. This Christmas I will be buying annual passes for Disneyland, so that means about 3 trips to the parks over the course of next year.
WDW once. My wife has been to WDW twice. We almost never went. During her trip to WDW she had such a poor time that she did not care to return. I having never been there didn't push the issue. During our vacation there last year we saw just how fun it can be and can't wait to go back.

Unfortunately not the time you want the hours to pick up.

I remember trying to put in as many as possible in the summer (30-40). I worked at Sears during HS and College. Luckily I only spent about a year in the sales side, then I went to customer service. My last 3 years were in the back office, so I didn't have to deal with the customers.

Besides retail and fast food, there isn't much out there for HS kids.

One job I got when I just started college was the weekend receptionist at a retirement community. That might be something she could look into.

Hmmm no story....I'm just not a DL fan. We went there on our honeymoon cus we couldn't afford to go to WDW. Got married in Vegas so we just drove over to California and did the parks there.

Saw DCA and DL again in 2004. I think that will be our last time there, unless they get a really cool ride that WDW doesn't get :rolleyes1

That was my next question. Is it worth going to DL? We've never been there but I'm not sure a trip to Anaheim is worth it anymore.

Hey Nancy,

I noticed you posted at 8:01 DIS time that you were going out to breakfast and then you posted again at 8:51. Pretty quick breakfast. Where did you go? McD?

McD's it was. BLECH!!!:sad2:

I'm sure she'll have many offers for Homecoming dates Andy. She is one gorgeous girl.princess:

We are on our way out the door for church, there is supposed to be this really good guest speaker and we have been told to get there early if we actually want a seat. I will tell you now, church or no church I am not standing for and hour and half of a guest speaker so if we don't get seats I might just be right back out the door and over to JITB.

Talk to you all later.

JITB???:confused3

Where did Nancy and Karen go?

I'm here. I had to pick some overgrown cucumbers and zucchinis from my garden. Darn tomatoes are still green.

If the nap is coming up, then you have uninterrupted DIS time, right?

I actually have to do work today. I've been spending the last 2 hours DISing instead.

I'll probably bug out in a little bit too.

Ok so everyone on here has been talking about scrapbooking. Does anyone do anything with beads. Or cross stitching thread. I have beads and thread that I no longer want and I am looking for them to go to a good home that they will be used in. Let me know if anyone is interesed please.

Not into beads or anything like that, but I did want to let you know that your DD's postcard was mailed out on Friday. It should be arriving later this week, or early next week, as it went to Florida first to receive a Florida postmark. I can't remember if I sent you a PM or not on Friday letting you know the postcard was on the way.

Do you think our 1100+ pages are intimidating other DISers coming on our cruise???? :rolleyes1

I've noticed at least 3 DISers from the DCL board that are going on our cruise but haven't posted here at all.

I invited one of them over here but she just ignored my post....do I smell bad???

Glad she saw the light Steve.:yay:

You didn't have to deal with customers in customer service? :rotfl2:

That was my next question. Is it worth going to DL? We've never been there but I'm not sure a trip to Anaheim is worth it anymore.

Hey, when we looked at that and the DCL trip this fall, even with free air to CA, it was a better deal to go on the cruise for us (based on a per night basis).

Suz wants to go back and we probably will before the Repo, but I don't think I'd make DL my sole destination on trip out there.

It is fun and I like going, but for twice as long of a flight and more expensive hotels, I'd rather go to the World.

We will go to DL when we are out in CA (my brother lives in Redondo Beach, so we get out every few years), but will also do things in San Diego.

You could make a whole week trip out of Southern CA though and include DL on your itinerary.

Personally I didn't like DL, it lacked the magic that WDW has. BUT I do know TONS of people who LOVE it, so I guess it's a personal choice.

Breakfast is the only meal I will eat at DicMonald's!! ::yes:: But it's been years since I've had it!

Actually, since I stayed up till just before Rob got home at 4am, I will be joining him in bed for a nap once my pincess goes for her nap! :rolleyes1

I wish I could, believe you me. Yes, our 1st cruise was 4 years ago next month. She sure has changed over the past 4 years. I went back and added her cap and gown pic to a previous post, but I'll stick it in here so you don't have to go back and look for it.

Blew that diet in one day for the week, huh?

What did you get.

I haven't been to McD's for breakfast since my last trip to Vegas (May 2005). I think I had the pancakes and they weren't too bad.

I'm afraid I will be needing to sign off as well. This medication I am on is starting to make me feel quite groggy, darn these shingles..........:guilty:

Ours a just starting to turn. I think this week with the heat we should see them start to ripen. Just remember to keep them watered. I think we will be 90 by Wednesday. No rain of course.
