Looks like 19 for me with #20 being this fall.
1972,1973,1982,1983,1986,1989,1992,1993,1994,1995,1997,1998,1999,2001,2002,2003,2005 twice,2006 and 2007.

We stayed off Disney grounds until 1997 when I won a trip to WDW from a local radio station. We won a stay at the Sheraton Safari right outside of DTD for 4 nights, so we decided to splurge for the remaining days and stay at Caribbean Beach Resort. The next five visits were at the CBR. One trip in 2005 we stayed at a friends condo in Daytona Beach for free but drove to WDW every day that week. Our second trip in 2005 was our first Disney Cruise.

This year we decided to switch it up a bit and try a different moderate resort for two nights after the cruise. We're trying Port Orleans/French Quarter.

BTW...The cheapest hotel room we had was in 1995 at the Howard Johnson's Fountain Park Plaza Hotel in Kissimmee was $38.00/night for ground floor, pool side!!!

Which station did you win the trip from?

So you have always done CBR? How do you like it (you must if you keep going back to it)? Is it showing its age?

We almost had this one for an up coming trip, but they only had kings so they are putting us in Coronado (our 2nd time). We usually stay in Port Orleans (either). French Quarter preferred because of the small size and better bus stops, but I really like the look of Riverside. Plus, I think the Riverside pool is better (Suz disagrees with me).

For everyone playing distag - could you all please add yourselves to the list below.

I need to know whether your kids are boys or girls and their ages if you dont mind. I dont want to be giving eg. a little Princess pencil to an Alex who happens to be a 16 year old boy:rotfl2:

I'll start - please just add yourselves on.

Karen Mouse, hubby Neil, Ellis - son age almost 7.

Thank you:goodvibes

I don't know, my DS(7) is in to Kim Possible. I'm sure he would mind a KP pencil. :rolleyes1

I won the trip from WKTI. They announced a name every day for a week at 7:20 and you had 9 minutes and 54 seconds to call them back. There were 5 trips that week. Jamaica, WDW, Cancun, Vegas, and another one I can't remember. After we won on Tuesday's drawing, Chuck's secretary won the trip to Cancun on Thursday's drawing. Small world huh?

Yes, we LOVE CBR. We have ALWAYS had a nice updated room. Never saw any signs of wear and tear. First four trips were in Aruba and the last one was in Jamaica. We usually request Aruba but the kids wanted to try Jamaica last time. They're really all the same except for the colors of the buildings and the bedding. I liked Aruba the best because it was the furthest away from the Old Port Royale (Food Court/Straw Market) and the main pool. I liked being at our own pool where it was nice and quiet all day long.

Good Morning Karen,

The spreadsheet I emailed you should have all the kids names and ages on it. Also, I think we have an updated list on Yahoo.

If you want another spreadsheet I'll send a PDF to your email address, but of course, I'll need the address again.

Today's questions:

How many trips have you been on to a Disney park, cruise or DVC resort (i.e. Hilton Head or Vero - in case you only went there)? Treat a WDW/Cruise trip as one trip (the trip is from when you leave your house until you get back, so anything Disney you did while you were gone is considered one Disney experience). It may be fun to list out how many times you've been to each place (for this, you could list WDW and DCL each once, even though for the QOA it would only be 1 trip).

 Hey There Jeff, I thought I'd drop by and say hello to all you Konk Kruisers this fine Sunday mornin'. :goodvibes

BTW, my answer to your question would be about 25 visits (give or take) between WDW, DL and DCL. Our 1st visit to WDW was September 1983 and we have been hooked ever since. I was a big Walt Disney fan since childhood, but it took me until I was 28 to get to any of the parks. :)

Morning Andy. Always a pleasure to have you stop by.

Sorry we couldn't get you to come on this cruise with us. You're more than welcome to chat with us anytime though.

Doesn't you Mom live down near WDW?

Good Morning Andy!!! Feeling a little better this morning? Has Angelina's homecoming date been changed to a different date and you and Hazel are cruising with us now? :cheer2:

25 visits in 24 years?? Fantastic!

If your still there Rob i have to ask do all Canadian DJ's carry all that gear to every gig or are you like the dogs bullocks of DJ's out your way,DJ's over here only carry like two decks, two speakers and a box of Cd's.....and what would you charge for a wedding gig?....The lads over here charge about £150,200... US dollar that's about $300/400...:)

No, Rob's gig is not typical. He enjoys being the best of the best. You can check out his DJ business here: http://www.questsend.com/

A lot of DJ's here now use MP3's which suck quality-wise. Rob is the expert but I think those kind of set-up's cost $300-$500 (the kind that you mentioned above) but the great DJ's like Rob, will cost you about $800-$1200 depending on the package. Considering his average DJ day starts at 2pm and ends at 3-4am and he needs at least one assistant, and provides his clients with wireless microphone, projector, laptop (for slideshow presentations) 4-8 hours of background music and the BEST DJ experience in all of Southern Alberta, he is a bargain!! ::yes::

Thank you... I'll keep page 518 in my notes. I know I can do it or yell help from Cass!

Yes, I am never too far away for any help you need!

And don't forget to make sure you are in lots of the pictures... when I look back at pictures I can see who was taking them because they don't exsist in those pictorial memories.

Yes, that is normally what happens but Rob knows better now, he makes sure he grabs the camera every once in awhile and gets a pic of me. And this trip, he will have our small digital elph and I will have the big SLR.

Holy crap Nancy, that's a few trips! Good for you! I guess it helps when you live relatively close to Florida.

Never heard of digital scrapbooking - is it easy? - any sites you can recomend?

Sorry, sad to say no, the Homecoming Dance is still 10-20-07, so while all you are having fun taking photos of your cruise, I'll be home here taking photos of my princess and her prince..........notice I said prince, and not frog........:rotfl:

Speaking of princess, mom just left to take her to work, I'm still feeling a bit under the weather.

Morning Andy, always a pleasure to see you! :wave2:

Nancy, maybe we can try to update the Tag page on the KK site, I understand what Karen needs as I was looking at the same thing. Some people have their kids listed with a name that could be a boy or girl. And some don't have ages listed.

I won the trip from WKTI. They announced a name every day for a week at 7:20 and you had 9 minutes and 54 seconds to call them back. There were 5 trips that week. I think KTI has a fix on their contests to skew mostly towards their target audience of females 20-45. Always seems like the winners of anything good is always a female.

As for the resorts, I know DS loves a good slide, and I wasn't sure if CBR's would be long enough for him. We were at CS before our first cruise, and he did the slide there, but it was a little bit less than perfect for swimming (not cold, but not where you wanted to spend a long time in the pool). I don't think he remembers it, even though it was 2.5 years ago and he was just about 5.

I have put a request in for CS to be in the Ranchos. They are the furthest from the main building, but close to the main pool. I like the architecture of the buildings back there too. We'll have a car, so it doesn't matter on the bus stops until we go to MK. We'll see what Suz thinks this time. She didn't like them last time, but since it was our only choice this time, she has to go there. Maybe she'll change her mind. There is some big convention in there the time we are looking at going.

I still call about every other week to see if anything has opened at PO though.

Yes Jeff, my mom lives about an hour drive north of WDW in Lake County, we will be there this November, so we'll most likely be hitting WDW again!!!

Andy,

Is Angelina still at Build A Bear?

How's that going?

Let's see....4 trips when I was a kid....6 as an adult...makes 10 trips! :cool1:

1975, 1977, 1979, 1981, 1993, 1999 (first with Rob), 2000, 2002, 2003, 2005.

But if I had my way, I would go twice a year, in October and again in February. :cool1:

Andy,

Did you have a cruise booked for this November? I can't remember if you definitely booked one.
