You have a good relationship with your ex by the sounds of things - is that the case? I sure hope so, I constantly hear about people who have a bad time with the ex's. To be honest - I think that is one of the key reasons why we stay together - we dont want to go through the hassle of splitting (LOL). I dont mean that we are ready to split but we comment sometimes - "well I guess I would rather put up with your incessant need to sleep in on the weekends (not me - Gail likes to sleep until noon) than be negotiating who gets the kids for Christmas morning".

He was not a perfect husband but he was a great friend and he tries to be a great dad. So as far as all of that goes, we do have a great relationship now. We have joint custody but he doesn't push the envelope at all. I don't like his wife but that is because of the way she treats him and the fact that she doesn't like kids. She is very jealous of our relationship also and will call him every 3 mins when he drops of the kids. LOL Mary just shakes her head because that doesn't make much sense now does it?

I guess I'll use this time to Welcome Susan and family. Better late than never. it is myself, Janice, DH Mark, DS Bryce 12, DD Mackenzie 8 on the cruise. It is our first cruise, and we are so excited.

Is this a case of saving the best for last? hahaha

We are a crew of 6.. Me and Mary, our kids, Tyler 16, Trevor 11, nephews Paul 20, and Andrew 18. This is our 2nd cruise and my nephews 1st. We are as excited as we were on the 1st one. Maybe more i'm afraid because we know more. hahahaha

Ok... trying to talk about this whole tag thing and pirate outfit thing to the nephews is like crazy. So they finally say they are going are just doing whatever I tell them as long as we are all doing it. So I will make sure that I make them pass out a bag or two and give them all of these false warnings... Like if you get caught, then you have to sing a song or something like that. My younger ones won't get caught because they are sneaky like that but the older ones might just start singing to you. LOLOL

I'll think of other things as well... just to keep them from vegitating.

Robin: Glad to see your brother woke up and that things seem a little better for you. What did you and Cassie do all last week? Fun stuff I hope!

Good morning all

I have a short day at work today 3 1/2 hours. Like it is even worth going in. I am going to see if I can stay for a full 8 just so I don't have to come home to the kids for a while.

Mackenzie is going to spend the night with my mom and dad. Yes I know that is a really big step with my moms health but she thinks that she is ready and I personally think that it can not be any worse for Mackenzie over there then it has been here lately. And at least with my parents she is getting some one on one time.

Our chat with the kids lasted way to late into the night and I really don't think we got anywhere with Kelsey. I still get the impressions that she just does not give a d*** about anything in our household anymore. However I think we made a little progress with Kyle and by the time he was told he could go to bed he was actually talking to me which was the first time since we got them at 1:00 on Sat. That and his spirit seems to be a little better. I hope that tonight goes better then the whole weekend did.

So what is going on with everyone else today? What are these camps that people are talking about thier kids doing?

Avery is off to her first week of Summer Camp - its called Camp Capers. Its really an intro to day camping. They play sports, do crafts, have theme days (like tomorrow is Pajama Day and Friday is Hawaii Day). It will be a lot of fun - she goes to school full time so she will adjust quickly but most schools are only half-day at her age so those kids sometimes have trouble adjusting to being away from home all-day. Spencer was nice enough to go to this specific camp for one week to help her adjust. But in the future he will go to camps like Golf Camp and Soccer Camp while she will stay back at Camp Capers.

I wish I could go to camp!

The company I work for reimburses me for going to the gym. You have to go something like 12 times per month. The least amount of times you go the less they reimburse you.

It's really nice, but I don't get off work until 5 and like to get home.
I could go before I go to work, then you have to take a shower at the gym and try to do your hair...(what a pain)

So I choose to work out at home on my elliptical. Blah, blah, blah, blah.

Robin I so wish my company would reimburse me for the gym. Sadly I am the same as Karen, a feww £100 pounds in cash lighter!!! I have lost 15 lbs, but still need to loose another13lbs before the cruise, just to be at the same size as I was last Oct !

Hi There - but also bye there - my poker game just ended (won $18 bucks) and I am off to bed...My kids start summer camp tomorrow and I know the morning is going to be crazy.

I wish Disney had a casino but I understand why they dont - it doesnt go wtih the image - but I will be right there for BINGO - LOL

Playing poker online can be very addictive. I will get really into for a while and will play every night and then I will just have to walk away for a while as it is taking over every evening. I played last night and that was the first time since April. but now i have to watch that I dont get too involved.

They are very smart though -I only had about 30 cents left in my account so I would have had to add money if I wanted to play again. Instead of doing that - I would play on the free-rolls just to make a bit to bring me back up to a $1 so I could play in a tournament. I was up to about 75 cents when i realized that I had a "flashign message". The poker site said I had been given a BONUS of $5 for free. SMART! The system realized I had quit playing and they wanted me back. So I played with my $5.75 for a while and worked it up to about $18 by the time i went to bed. But now they have me hooked again. its fun - but you have to be very aware of what you are doing or you can fall into a very dangerous trap!

Where do you play? I play on Partypoker.com. There are a lot of Europeans on the site.
