Rob is DJing a wedding tonight...he had to turn down over a dozen requests for tonight (It's 07-07-07, so VERY popular for weddings!) so I am all by myself tonight...PVR'd a few movies and decided to finally sit down and watch Freedomland. MISTAKE! :headache: Here I am bawling my eyes out, no one to cuddle me :sad2: Very striking movie, well done but now I just want to go wake up Kira and cuddle her till the sun rises!

I have learned not to watch movie when Scott is at work for the exact same reasons. There are time still that I go crawl into bed with Mackenzie just to cuddle her because I cry over somthing. It is better now that she is older because she does not wake up. Here is a  for you. I know it is not like having him home but I hope it helps.

has anyone done a semi-submarine or a glass bottom boat. Which is better. I am trying to find something for our 5 year old to do in place of snorkeling that she can still see all the fish.

Robin here...

That's pretty much what happened. I was leaving anyway... he just had to be a smart A**.

11:30 last night... Claude got home. He proceeded to tell me Mom & Dad had dr.'s appointments two days next week. Plus the funeral home people was coming one day, so they could get that all paid.

I told him, I was on the phone this morning at work for 2 1/2 hrs. checking out private duty home for mom & dad while we were away. He said, I can't think about that right now. I said, we really need to. We should have done it 2 wks ago when mom came home from the hospital, because it takes 2 to 3 wks.

I proceeded to say... We're not obligated to use it. At least we'll have a back up. He then started arguing and said "just go home" "get out of here". I said... We need help. We can't do this on our own.

He then said sarcastically... "you don't have to worry about next week. I have it covered. You left it all on my shoulders anyway." I then said, "your in your own little world. I said on Tuesday... We can't continue this pace, we need some outside help!!! Dad's Dr. even told me get some help or you guys will be sick before you know it."

He then said (sarcastically again)... "I was under the impression you weren't going to help anymore." I said..."Well, you're an idiot!!! I never said that! I said we need help. These decisions should be made as a family. Where do you get off making them on your own? You just want to play the martyr... Well have fun handling it all on your own."

And I left.

What a butthead!

Anytime there is a problem my older brother & Older sister always call me.

My older brother doesn't get along with Claude (Claude's the youngest). (they're both bull headed) And my sister is so passive, she won't open her mouth. But, I'm sorry... When I see something is wrong and it's going to harm someone, I'm going to speak up.

I will continue to call Mom on the phone. She has no clue any of this happened. She wouldn't remember it anyway.

One thing about it. I got the next week off. Cassie will be home from Dayton tomorrow and we're going to enjoy the week. We're going down to get her. I could use a road trip. Maybe we'll just keep going south all the way to Florida. :woohoo: No stress.

Hope you have a good week off with Cassie. Florida sounds good. Kristen (dd), Elijah (gs), Asiah (gd)and I are going to Mass for one week. hope the flights are good. We are flying stand by. You are doing the right thing for your parents, Mike and yourselve. You need to be able to enjoy life. Yes always be there for your Mom and Dad but enjoy your life. Life is too short.

Thanks Carrie!

We did the Atlantis Submarine in Hawaii, not sure if that's the same as the semi-submarine thing but I thought it might be a little scary for little kids being so enclosed and stuff :confused3 Not sure how Mac would handle that, I guess every kid is different.

Yeah, me too...off to bed....before Nancy calls the police and complains about some Canadian nut job who keeps harassing her!! :rotfl2:

What???? NO new posts since I went to bed???? What's up with THAT nonsense??? :confused3

No complaints from this lady. Thanks again Cass. I told you it was awesome.:rotfl2:

Off to spend a few hours on your TR Cass. :woohoo:

BTW...Harry Potter fans. Chuck just might be the person to envy next week. Guess who is delivering the HP books to Barnes & Noble? :thumbsup2

Maybe we could hijack, Chuck's truck. The movie comes out of Bryce's birthday, though are not going to the midnight showing, we will be taking some of his friends to celebrate. He can't wait for the movie and the next book.

Just checking in to say good morning to everyone.

I have a birthday party to go today. It will be outside in 95+ degree heat and the people's house does NOT have air conditioning.

I'll check back with everyone tonight if I don't pass out before then.

So is one just going to fall off the back of his truck for you.

Does anyone know if Cookies BBQ on Castaway is free (included in the cost of the cruise) or do we need to bring money to Castaway to eat.

Think this has been answered, but food and soft drinks are free at Cookies.

We did stingray watching on GC and you sat down within a Glass bottom catamaran. Good fun...but a bit claustrophobic.

There's a window of opportunity to do this:

Concierge guests - 105 days out (also guests booked on a romance package)
Past guests - 90 days out
1st timers - 75 days out

And yes, you have to be paid in full. Make sure, if you book thru a travel agent, that you pay them earlier than your due date. That way they can get the money to DCL in time for your booking date.

You can book Palo and spa reservations, shore excursions, register kids for the clubs, and the online registration.

Hope I helped!
Tina

75 days for me so that is around early AUgust which is also when I have to be paid in fill.

But by the 75 day mark will there be anythign left?

Jessalynn,

People in Concierge (Cats 1-3) and those who have booked the REAS package (I think it stands for Romantic Escape At Sea) can book at 105 days, which was this morning.

People who are returning cruisers (Castaway Club Members - automatic after your first cruise) can book at 90 days. That would be the morning of July 22nd.

Lastly would be the first time cruisers. They can book at 75 days. I believe that would be August 6th.

The bookings come available at 12:00 a.m. on that day. Since I live in the Central time zone, I am able to book at 2:00 a.m.

Hope that helps.

so its 12 midnight Eastern Standard Time (under Daylight savings)?

I think we also got Key West figured out. We have decided to do this one all on our own. We want to go to Southern Most Point (just for the pic op) Then DH wants to go to the lighthouse, and I want to go to the blonde giraffe (sp)

Same as us - we are just going to take it easy that day. Lighthouse sounds cool, southern tip, and of course the place for Key Lime Pie on a stick - think that is the Blonde Giraffe you mentioned. SO it looks like we will be following you guys (LOL)
