I showed that post to Chuck and he made himself a PBJ sandwich, looked at my neck and pulled a burr out of my hair. Ahhh, a true romantic.![]()

Won't find me on there either. I'd rather take the upcharge and go on 2 vacations for the price of a holiday one.
Nancy, I play the piano and trumpet. I got an accordian for my bday and have not a clue. I will try to learn!!!![]()
Are we even going to recognize them???![]()
robin will be giving lessons on deck 2. bring lots of cash![]()
Yeah, you can definitely do 2 vacations for the price of one of those. Maybe one day but not while the kids are little. I keep thinking that once they are grown we will automatically become rich!!! Yeah right, then its paying off college, the weddings, vacations with grandkids..........

That's why I started early. Luckily we only have the one. My plan is to have college paid for before he is out of high school. I have a boy, so I don't have too much about the wedding side. I started saving for retirement at 18 and only count my own retirement contributions - nothing from Social Security and nothing from the Company Pension (those two will be gravy money for travel).
As for traveling with grandkids, I'm trying to convince Suz to buy into a DVC property. We can pass it on to DS when we croak and he can still take his kids.
just popped in to try to get caught up. will answer some of beefcakes questions later. im heading over to help robin care for her parents.
if i want to see my bride much these days i have to go over there.
later guys. cinnamike
I see lots of people here have and use DVC. We have thought about it also. We are also very good about saving for retirement. We should be able to travel as much as we do now, maybe more since we will only be paying for 2 instead of 5.

Sure, now that I get a moment to play, no one wants to play with me.
Guess I'll just play by ("with" for you sick-o's) myself.
Going to look at the menus on Castaway Club and think of what I want for dinner. I think I wrote down once what I was planning on getting. Some nights I will be trying new things, but on a couple, there are some things I just have to have, like the Duck in Lumieres, the Lobster on Captain's Gala night.
Anyone else who has been on before have any favorites that they have to have?
Anyone anal and won't try anything different?
Who's definitely going to do different choices this cruise?
O.K., most of us are less than 3 weeks away from online bookings (Chris is this Saturday).
What are your priority items to book (Palo, a certain excursion, etc)?
What Palo meals are you going for? Which day if brunch? Which night if dinner?
Who plans on re-booking another cruise at the first opportunity?
Who's waiting until near the end?
Who never wants to go on another Disney cruise?
Who's sick of me asking all these questions?
Does anyone have any favorite shows they HAVE to see on board?
Anyone planning on skipping any shows?
What theme nights will you be attending in the night clubs?
Anyone like going to Sessions (the jazz bar)?
Who's up for an Adult DIS Meet in one of the clubs (I know we already have the wine tasting/DIS meet)?
How many posts does it take to get a whole page?
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?
Who let the Dogs Out?![]()
Do I need to get a life?
Why does my KK look small here at work, but normal size at home?
Why does the repo one not shrink?
We make sure we travel now. I'm not waiting until retirement. My father, who never traveled anyways, passed away within 5 years of retirement at 63. My mom passed away at 67. With those odds, I'm not waiting to travel.
My original plan was to retire at 56 (Suz would be 59 1/2 so we could tap her retirement), but for the next 6 years until 62 we will have vitrually no expenses so we could sock away more for retirement and travel then too. Suz will be done in her mid-50's as soon as DS is in college.
