The kids and I will definately be dressed up for Pirate Night - will probably convince my better half to wear a POTC tshirt but that will be it

I am so looking forward to dressing up for dinners. That is one of the reasons why I am not sure if I want to ask for early seating or not - we got late seating but I was planning on asking for early when we get on ship.

It might be hard to get them dressed in time for early seating.

Any thoughts?

We had late seating last time and we flew through dessert as fast as possible and ran up onto deck 10 and the party had started, we couldn't get a decent spot. This time we are doing early seating and will be seeing the WHOLE party!! pirate: And we will be in the same costumes as last time!

F.O.???

Cass (and all the closet Canada Lovers) - Happy Canada Day.

Its appropriate that Canada is 140 years old this year - as there are so many people celebrating 40 on our cruise.

I was born in Canada's Centennial (100 year birthday year) year and so my parents have always called me their "centennial project".

I have forgotten my log in ID and password for the Konked Kruisers Yahoo site - how do I find out what it was? I am pretty sure I know my password but hell if I can remember my ID!

I am having a Seniors Moment

Another good reason to go with the early seating....I am going to try and get the family to Port Caniveral by about 10am on boarding day - hopefully I can get us switched to early seating

Jessalynn,

Contact your travel agent or DCL and request early dining now if you want it, if it's not available, you can be put on a waiting list. You can only make changes to dining once on board at 3pm (I think) and by then it's probably too late as early dining is popular!!!

Personally speaking. Myself I like to do my hair, makeup and dress up every night for dinner. It normally takes me about an hour to do it. It makes it hard to get back from being at port all day and rush back on the ship to get ready for early dinner. I have never done it with the kids but I have a 12 year old girl who depending on her mood can take an hour just to do her hair. I am sure our family the girls alone are going to need about 2 hours to get ready. There is no way we could get away with early dinner.

Wow forgot to say

NEXT INSTALLMENT on the SCHOOL!!!!

We contacted our local conservative councillor and he contacted a business colleague of hi, who is the director of education for our area. He called me and asked for all my notes to be e mailed to him, which I did.

He then phoned us at home at 6pm on a Friday to express his deepest concerns about how we have been treated. He has assured us he will investigate EVERYTHING :) and get back to us by Wednesday.
I said I wanted to speak to Head teacher, however she has declined to attend meeting with us. His reply was music to my ears.... " I have the power and authority to insist she attends a meeting, if I deem it to be necessary !"

feel things might actually be getting to a climax at last !!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Lindy.......here's hoping that this is the beginning of the end!!! And don't worry about Elouise......little ones always seem to handle things a little better than we do!!!;)

Hi Missy, Carrie, Jess and Cass!! Happy Sunday and Happy Canada Day Jess & Cass!

Cass, love what you did with the back of your shirts. Very nice.

When Jay and I were at WDW last month we received a really thoughtful gift from a couple of very special DISers. It was waiting for us in our villa when we returned from our dinner at Victoria and Albert's on the evening of our anniversary.

So, thanks again Nancy and Chris!! You're the best!!!

I thought we took a picture of the actual gift basket by itself, but apparently the flash kept bouncing of the cellophane and we gave up in a fit of drunken rage.

Does anyone want to guess just how much we'd had to drink when this picture was taken? ;)

NO!!! YOU'RE THE BEST!!!!

Jessalyn......we have done both early and late dinner. They both have their pros and their cons.......and it all washes out in the end. If you think you might have a hard time getting them ready for early dinner then you will probably have a hard time still getting them ready for an early show! (Unless you are going to skip the show!) Regardless you still have to be dressed, either for dinner or a show, at 5:30 - 6:00.

Now, have I totally confused you??????:confused3 :thumbsup2 :)
