Hello everyone, thank you so very very much for all the Pms. I havent read any of the posts for over a week now, as you can guess I have been very busy and honestly so consumed with the school, I havent functioned properly.
I dont know where i got to on this devasting journey, but heres an update ( in brief!)
We had the meeting last monday, and the head teacher walked out of the meeting after 30 minutes, saying " she coulnd't stand the stress any more!" ???? We were very calm and polite at all times, and we were confussed why she left. The deputy head came in, and we continued the meeting, ending it with handshakes, and an agreement to meet on the 19th ( yesterday)
On last Thursday, I "found" by mistake a letter that was NOT in an enverlope, it was wedged between her reading book and some art work ! It stated we were threatening and rude, that we have been reported to the school governors and the teaching union. !!! That I am not allowed in the school to help any more due to a breach of confidentitalily !!! I have taken this accusations very very badly. I have had to involve my work, as they have stated that I have broken trust. Next are very concerned with the letter, who God knows who has seen !!
We had the meeting yesterday ( I requested an Educational Welfare officer to be presnet, who was very good! ) we discussed how the school faied basic risk assements for skipping ropes and how they had to improve care at the school. We were clam and polite all the way through. (The school were very very organised, much more conciderate about Elouise feelings etc, offering coffee at the meeting and offering to note take !... which they didnt do at the first meeting at all ! )
I said we accpeted the comments about H & S and we are not about to sue the school, However we did want to discuss the content of the letter we found in her book bag. The deputy head ( the head that wrote the letter was not at the meeting) said she didnt know about the letter. I got a photocopy of it ( im keeping original safe) I gave it to the council lady, who was shocked at its accusations. They said the head teacher did not want to discuss its content, and to speak to the Governors ( Yeah right, when both the nuahgty boys parents are on the governing board! )
So ... we have given the school till 28th June ( as the council lady is on hols from 28th June) if they do not explain and proove the content of the letter, or competely retract it ........... in writing! We have sadly got to get a solicitor involved and will take a libel case to the school.
Elouise is devasted and scared to go to school. Its breaking my heart, that they dont help her in any way! She begs me to go to anohter school ( we have gone and looked at another school, and we should be able to get a place for her) However she is in the top set at school, she has many friends and other than this is stettled and doing very well. What happens if we move schools and therre is a naughty child at the next school ?
But what happens if she stays and gets hurt again, even worse?
Can I face going to the school, where a head teacher, a person of trust, lies bare faced to us ?
On a good note I lost 4lbs this week, Through stress, not diet.... as all I seem to eat is biscuits and wine !

Please send me some dust stuff to get this sorted! we are on holiday from Fri till mon and was so hoping to get some closure on this before then. But sadly it doenst look that way.
The lady seemed really nice and she said as long as our stuff checked out then it's ours. (crossing fingers, we've heard that before!) So if that's the case we will be moving at the end of July...half our house is packed already so no biggie!
