I know this topic is a day old, but Nancy, we forgot a very large company located between the two of us.

Anyone who gets a magazine, catalog or sales flyer probably had it printed in Sussex, WI (possibly Pewaukee and Lomira too) by Quad Graphics.

I actually did my accounting internship there.

I completely forgot about it until I drove past it on the way home tonight.

Wow the list of WI companies is getting longer. Who would have thunk it?

Since we are going back one day, how about the Milwaukee County Zoo? If I'm correct, it is the 2nd best zoo in the United States. The San Diego Zoo in California is numero uno. :thumbsup2

JLD...did you notice that you are 34 posts away from being Mr. 3000?:)

Is it still? I remember is used to be. Wasn't sure where DC falls in there.

Our zoo is over 200 acres and has over 2500 animals. We just got some Koala's on loan too.

We have an annual pass and DS does the zoo education classes there. He loves animals - especially giraffes and elephants.

We love the Milwaukee Zoo, try to make it there 1-2/yr.
The San Diego is marv also, love the Panda's.

Thanks for replying to my questions.

I love my Kodak too. It is so user friendly. I think that's why I keep coming back to them.

If I remember correctly, this one doesn't have an Image Stabilizer. Do you notice a need for one with the zoom?

Not so much with the zoom but I do notice it when I turn the flash off. If I leave it on Auto flash it is fine but once I turn the flash off everything is blury because I am not very stable.

Thanks Cass. That's EXACTLY what I needed to know. Here's another question though. Do you think it would be ok to pick up our keys, drop our luggage off in the car, lock it up and return to the airport terminal to wait for the kids who are coming in 1 1/2 hours later and will then rent their own car?
I think as long as I have the keys, then no one else can take it right? Are we actually assigned a certain car? At Alamo we just take any car that has keys in it. (Sorry, that's more than one question isn't it?)

Umm I don't see a problem with leaving it there locked up if you have the keys. At Budget you get assigned a car, you don't get to pick so the vehicle will be all yours.

Jeff!!! You finally posted a pic of yourself! Very nice pic of you and Suz! :thumbsup2 Ok, Chris, your turn!

Kelsey's promotion (graduation) went well today. Boy has school changed since I was a kid. She made honor roll, which is a first for her. :cool1: With everything that has gone on in her life this yaer I am really proud that she did so well in school.

You guys are really leaving me no other choice then to spend time on ebay. So can I blame all of you when DH realizes I spend more money on ebay.:)

Oh typical.....I am up at "stupid o clock - 4am", dissing by 5am and then only 1 1/2 pages to read:confused3 - whats going on folks???? - not good enough d'ya hear me??? I like my 6 page catch up every morning so get talking!

She has indicated that she wants the wristbands.

I won't be closing the poll anytime soon, but I think we'll have a consensus by the time she gets back.

The DIS meet time/place poll looks like it is complete by the way. 16 votes with half gong to one option. I don't think that will change. Although, if all the losing votes got together on one time, it would be evenly split.

Ok, I wont pm her then. She'll see the poll on yahoo when she returns. I'm sure she'll be ok with whatever choice. Thanks again for organising it.:thumbsup2

Here's another pic from the "live from" repo thread. This time the Goofy Pool.

I didnt know the goofy pool had a fountain at one end:scared1: :scared1:

Hiya! Getting ready to go take a walk while the laundry is getting done. Today's visit has resulted in more tests next month after we get back from Florida. Still in the "we don't know exactly what's going on" mode.

Thanks for asking about me, everyone, and thanks for the dust stuff. Allow me to shower all of you in return with some... pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Oh dear - more waiting around:sad2: - thats the worst part:sad2:

Have a great trip Brenda, Jay and Planky:cool1:

Dont get my hubby talking about printing on the cruise:eek: - he's a printing engineer. If you watch him at dinner I bet he'll study the menu - not see whats cooking but to see if its been printed well:lmao: - he just cant help himself:lmao:

See! - its amazing what you think about when someone asks you a question about something you take for granted. Nancy, you can go top of the class next to Jeff and Cass:teacher: Its getting quite crowded up there now:rotfl:

The sad thing is I'm 23 away from being Mr. 1500 here.

That means 1/2 my posts have been on this thread. :scared1:

I think about 99% of my posts are on here. I hardly visit anywhere else on the dis

Oh wow - that sounds cool. My favourite is the lions and bears. I can sit and watch them for hours. Oh and Shamu at Seaworld - I could stay by that viewing window all day long.

You know, they print the "men's" magazines at the Sussex plant (at least they did when I was there) and some poor schlep had to actually sit there and review all those pages closely with a magnafine glass. I'm sure Neil would just hate that job. :rotfl2:

Karen, what the heck are you doing up so early?

Oh yeah! - Neil would really hate that job;)

Hey there Jeff and Brenda and anyone else on here:wave2:

Been up for ages, awake since about 3am so I figured I my as well get up. Its nearly 6am now:rolleyes: Couldnt empty my head long enough to sleep.

We drove past our new house yesterday and 4 out of 5 (inc ours) is on the market all of a sudden with the same estate agent. Of course alarm bells started going off in our heads that something was happening so we began to panic. Got home and rang the planning dept of the local council to see i anything was happening around there, but nothing is. It must be just co-incidence, also the UK are introducing a "sellers pack" over here from June 1st, but if you get on the market prior to June 1st you dont have to have it, so I think that has also made it worse. It just looked wierd when we saw all the for sale boards:eek:

I spoke to the Estate agent ans she's assured me they all have very different and legitimate reasons for selling and that its just co-incidence, but it still made me worry all night:rolleyes: Oh well, if I'm worrying about the house at least it stops me worrying about the size of my *ss:lmao:

Well Karen, I hope Cass comes on tonight for you to chat or Chris and Linda get up soon.

As for me, I'm going to go to bed. I was actually in bed but then remembered I had to do something for work. Guess I'll set the alarm for 30 minutes later tomorrow morning.

Talk to you soon.

Good Morning Karen. I just woke up and came to the computer to check on something else and see you are here.

I guess you are gone now. I see your light is now off. So I guess I should head off back to bed. Goodnight all.

Sorry Lori - I was over on the Dibb. I switch between the 2:rolleyes1 .

I suppose I could iron:rolleyes: - or make Ellis' lunch box:rolleyes: or start the housework:rolleyes: ...or Dis - yep I choose the last one;)
