Its kind of sad, but a great time was had by all, so that bit out weighs the bad bit. Anyway they do email from time to time and she knows who they are when we look at pictures. Strangley enough they are on the cruise EASTERN the week before us.....we couldnt get time off work to join them  I've told them to look after the Magic for us :)

Is she your only child. Mackenzie is our youngest and we are kind of doing it big for her birthday, but at least she will be old enough to remember it for a while.

We also have a DS, Hayden, who will be 8 by cruise time. He makes friends very easily with various ages of boys and girls. Gwynne tends to be shy so it'll help her since there are going to be other girls her age. I'll see if I can post a picture of the kids.

Oh Abby looks like the girls will have lots of mates to buddy up with! :)

Last Oct on a 4 night cruise, Elouise made great friends with 2 lovely American girls, Kylie and Nicole. They went EVERYWHERE together.:cutie:
It was sooooo sad on the last day, when they had to all say goodbye. I was actually crying watching them hug and cry.

It really did help make the cruise very special, and she enjoyed the club time and pool time so much more....as any only child, she often only has mum or dad to play with.

Last night I had a dream that we got on the ship, had dinner the first night, and the next thing we knew, we were getting off. I remember in my dream thinking "but I don't remember anything that happened!" And I started to cry. I'm sure it's hard for the littler ones to make friends then have to leave, not understanding why they probably won't see them again. I remember being so sad after coming home from week-long summer camps when I was a kid!:sad1:

Our family of five is going on the 7 day sailing on the Magic. We have been booked for a little over 2 years and just found this website. What else have we been missing out on?:mickeyjum

Welcome! I have a son who will be 6 on this sailing he will be in the same kids group as your daughter! If you're last cruise was on the Big Red Boat, then you have a lot to look forward to since DCL has changed so much since then. As to what you have missed... well, 500 pages of posts is a whole lot. But I'm sure that you will get to know everyone soon enough.

Welcome to the DIS as well, you will find a wealth of information here!

Linda, where's your avatar? You need one girl.:)

As they are sooo young, its hard for them to go on the kids thread and make friends. But Elouise is here now, and wants to send Mackenzie and :bride: Gwynne some pictures

   :dance3: :dance3: princess: :wizard: :santa:

That would be great I will have Mackenzie come over to the computer if I can pry her away from Spirit.

Thanks so much. I can not wait to see all the differences. The kids keep asking me about my disney cruise and I have to keep telling them that I don't think there is going to be much that is the same. For now I would settle with just seeing the kids reactions to seeing how big the ship is.

Hi Steve, nice to hear from you:)

hope you are well.....

Your son will have great fun with 3 girls chasing him around :rotfl:

Yikes did you see this ?

One dead, 34 hurt in funfair crash
One person was killed and 34 others injured when a rollercoaster hit a guard-rail at an amusement park in western Japan, officials said.

An axle on one of the ride's six cars broke, causing the accident at Expoland in Osaka, 255 miles west of Tokyo, Kyodo News Agency reported.

It happened amid Japan's "Golden Week" holiday, when many families pack amusement parks and other tourist sites. Today was the Children's Day national holiday.

Osaka police official Kaoru Tanaka said a woman was killed. Fire department official Naokazu Norigami said 34 people were taken to hospital.

He said one suffered a head injury but others were apparently not seriously hurt.

Expoland was closed following the accident, according to park official Kazuhiro Shiba.

The stand-up rollercoaster could hold up to 24 passengers and travel as fast as 47mph, Mr Shiba said.

"A fatal accident occurred on Children's Day, which was supposed to be a fun day. I am at a loss for words to express my apologies," Expoland president Saburo Yamada told a news conference in Osaka.

Expoland opened as the amusement zone for the 1970 International Exposition held in Osaka.

Hundreds of thousands go on rollar coaster every day, so its not common I know. Very sad though.

Heres Elouise with her "boyfriend" ( a 6 yr old from the next table ) on pirate night :)

Elouise Kylie and Nicole at the sail away party. They acted like they were old friends!!! They met at the treminal and had planned their party dances already! It was soooooooooo amazing to see their faces as all the characters came out to dance on the deck.

Your daughter is so pretty. It looks like she had a great time. Mackenzie is all excited now. She can not wait to meet her.

Elouise looks so much like a friend's daughter that Gwynne finally met yesterday so don't be surprised if Gwynne calls her Madison on the cruise. ;) I'll try to set her straight before then! I have been trying unsuccessfully to get pictures into my replies on this thread. :badpc: So I've added a picture of Gwynne to my signature. I'll do Hayden next. I am completely illiterate when it comes to this whole digi camera/picture thing.:headache:

Help I am so confussed. I have been trying to find a ticker perferably a disney one to add to my thing. I can not find one. Let alone I do not know how to add it to my thing. Pictures are the next step after the ticker.:confused3

I did my ticker by clicking on someone else's, which took me to Ticker Factory.com. Then created my own, copied the URL into my signature on the DIS and it worked. I had to mess around with it a little to get it to work correctly though. The pictures are obviously something I can't help you with! :confused3

Thank you for the kind comments about Elouise. She can be an angel, however shes just like all kids, a pain in the ar*e at times too ! :)
Praying not to have too many "melt downs" on the holiday.

Elouise loved seeing the photo of Gwynne, thanks..... Shes blown a kiss to her ( how cute! )

OK for me, who is a bit PC rubbish i will try and explain how i do my photos.

I put all my photos from the files on the laptop onto photobucket. Then once its on photobucket its very simple to just left click on the photo and copy to here.

does that help ???
