This summer while we spend a month in Louisiana, Rob will fly up to Northern VA to check us into base housing and then search for a house for us. As a surprise to Emily, when he returns to LA, he will have a guest with him--Emily's best friend whom she hasn't seen in 2 years. Some of our very good friends live in Quantico, and they're going to fly their daughter to LA with Rob, then when it is time for us to drive to VA, the girls will fly back to Northern VA (not enough room in the vehicle for all of us). Anyway, to make a long story longer, the roundtrip ticket for Emily's friend was $337 just a couple of weeks ago and yesterday it had gone down to $208. That is dirt cheap for a non-stop from Dulles to New Orleans..... I got Emily's 1 way ticket for $109, which I thought was a good deal for a non-stop.

B--Is this a good price?

Wow... I was just looking at United and I didn't get those results. I was using 10/15 - 10/25 for my dates though...

Bah!

Those prices for Air-tran are great - I've never flown with them before...does anyone here have any experience with them?

Oh Chris what a bl**dy nightmare!!!

Im crying, and Wayne has gone to walk the dog!

If anyone has guessed, Manchester United lost tonight, so wont be in the final.

Its a sad sad night !

Bloody nightmare...we were s%^&E..:sad2:

Oh Linda how awful. We love to watch (soccer) football.
I bet Chris is just sick also:sad2:

Your not wrong...:sad1:

Yes poor Chris I feel he will be very very sad.

Im still sniffing away, and Waynes hit the Jamesons!

Chris, from one fellow Man U supporter to another ....:group hug:

Lindy loo out of bad comes good, just spare a thought tonight for them two kids who get to keep their daddy for a few more years....Remember my two tickets?...well the bloke only tried to up the price wednesday afternoon to $6000 for the pair....so you see because united lost he get's to live that bit longer...:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Oh geez - what an afternoon....

Ellis woke up feeling poorly...his tonsils were the sizr of golf balls....no appointments at the doctors til NEXT TUES:mad: :scared1: ....After 5 minutes of arguing they finallyagreed to see him at 3.50pm today....we got there at 3.40pm and checked in at reception.....55 minutes later we're still sitting there....I feel like sh*t too and my throat is on fire....Ellis has had enough of waiting and is burning up with temperature when the receptionist realizes she has forgotten to put Ellis on the doctors patient list:mad:

We get about 2 minutes with the doctor eventually only to be told not to cash the prescription yet just incase he gets better in the next 48 hours by himself:eek: - yeah, right, I'm going to wait til he's even sicker before I fetch his meds, and then its a bank holiday so nowhere will be open ...I dont think so....I was straight round to the chemist.

Then we spend 20 minutes in the chemist cos neither the pharmacist or the assistant could get the top off the bottle - I kid you not...

Its sooo not my day.... got home...put some soup onto heat for Ellis...forgot it - the saucepan now has congealed gloop in the bottom and is in the bin:rolleyes: - oh well, one less saucepan to pack I suppose:lmao: ...If I dont laugh I'll cry:sad1:

Got any good jokes?

Better still, got any chocolate?:rotfl:

Oh look, top of the page, if I had the energy I'd steal a page...dont worry - I havent got the energy;)

Poor Karen ... here are some hugs...

Pretend that I just dropped some chocolate on your table. :goodvibes

Hope you and Ellis feel better soon.

Karen-Here's a joke for you. My friend from Mississippi sent it to me. It also applies to Cajun women.:rotfl:

Mississippi Women

Three men were sitting together bragging about how they had given their
new wives duties. The first man had married a Woman from Colorado and
had told her that
she was going to do dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple days,
but on the third day he came home to a clean house and dishes washed and
put away.

The second man had married a woman from Nebraska He had given his wife
orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. The
first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it as
better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were
done, and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man had married a girl from Mississippi. He told her that her
duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed,
laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the
first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything,
but by the third day some of the swelling had gone down and he could see
a little out of his left eye, enough to fix himself a bite to eat and
load the dishwasher.

Thanks for mentioning Neil Diamond. I haven't listened to him a long time (use to listen to him all the time. Seen him in concert twice.) Well, I have over 20 of his songs loaded in my Yahoo music jukebox and I've been cycling through them about 2 times already.

Suz and I are both big fans. We actually had his remake of One Hand, One Heart at our wedding.

He has such a distinct voice. Kinda like Andrea Bocelli. Another one you can just sit and listen too.

So, since many of us are into Neil, do you think we can add that to our list of demands for DCL? Have live performance by the man himself? :confused3

Just had to share: It was my birthday on Wednesday and my boss gave me the best gift: A box (yes, box) of sparkling wine (it's from Francis Ford Coppola's winery--a 4-pack of little pink cans with matching straws--originally made for daughter Sofia's wedding) with a note "To be drunk only on the Magic!" along with a quite generous Disney gift certificate. Now, where should I spend that???: smickey:
