Evening all, not much to say, but thought I'd pop by.

OK, as I've told you all before, I don't drink. But I do think it would be fun to hang out with you ladies. Does anyone know if the private wine tasting would cost anything? If it's a free event, I'll come along, just to be the "designated driver!" :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Paige - hope your knee is feeling better soon!

I spoke with my mom this morning. Poor dear, she had to see doctor to remove a splinter from her toe. He couldn't get it out, so he sent her to a podiatrist. After an hour and a half, constant poking, cutting, and tweezing, she pulled out a splinter over 1/4 inches long. From her toe! That must have hurt something awful! Mom said her poor toe looks pretty mangled after that!

Brenda- any word on your test results? And I know you'll agree with me on this one: Hooray, it's May! :woohoo: We can now say "this month, when we go to WDW!" Just a bit over 2 weeks for us!

G'night!

Hello everyone!

We're finally all moved in! I see I've missed a lot. ;) I'll catch up with everything as soon as I can, we're both just so exausted!

Now the unpacking comes. I haven't even unpacked my desktop yet, I'm sitting here on my laptop!

Having to police my wedding website now too apparently, people from here on the community board are going over there and harassing me in my wedding guestbook. So immature I have to just laugh lol. Wanted to make fun of me because of our fanny packs. Um hello, have you TAKEN a look at how many people wear fanny packs at Disney World? I know I'd leave a purse somewhere, I just know I would LOL!

We lost our two budgies today (parakeets) and it was very upsetting. I went into their room to feed them and there they were... both had passed away. Very very shaken up after that! We're going to give them a proper burial after the ground dries up a bit though!

That's all from here... just gotta start unpacking everything god help me HA!

Raya, so sorry to hear about your parakeets. :grouphug: Do you have any idea what was the cause? :confused3

Good morning everyone... lots :goodvibes of:goodvibes positive:goodvibes thoughts:goodvibes today :goodvibes - my sis is off to the hospital so she'll hopefully hear the results....think "Match", match, match":goodvibes and also for Brendas test results too - positive thoughts and dust stuff to you Brenda:hug:

I've yet again been up since "stupid o clock"...its a great time of day..not a sound except the ripping of packing tape on the boxes I've packed since 4am:rotfl:

Hi Tina,
hope your mum is feeling better soon - that sounds sooo painful:headache:

It would be great if you could join us for the wine tasting, a few sips wouldnt hurt, and a few too many sips and we'll have you dancing!:dance3:

Hi Raya
nice to hear from you...glad the move went ok, good luck with the unpacking.:scared1:

Sorry to hear about your parakeets - how sad for you..could it have been the shock of the move?

Have you tried speaking to a moderator with regards to these idiots who are being awful to you? This is very childish and upsetting behaviour for you to have to deal with, dont let it get you down:hug: We're here:grouphug:

Well folks, thats all from me this morning, its 7am now so the little munchkin will be waking up soon, lunchbox to make and then back to my boxes.

Remember !- positive thoughts!:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I'm with you Karen----positive thoughts for all!!!:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Have a great day. I'm going to bed now. It's 11:15 pm here. Maybe I'll catch you tomorrow morning.....evening for you. Happy packing! If we lived near you, I'd come to help! Didn't you say you wanted to clear out the liquor cabinet? :lmao:

Good night Paige - sweet dreams:goodvibes

Funnily enough Paige I can manage to empty that cabinet all by myself:lmao:
I did a great job of emptying a whole bottle of white wine last night too:lmao:

I'm up to my eyes in bubble wrap but I'm getting there:banana: .

I made over £300 ($600) on the Dibb sale and I still have more to advertise, so I'm off to the post office later with another 8 packages.

Did everybody order their mnsshp tickets yet? I only just realized they were on sale:scared1: . People on the Dibb are talking about them, I knew the official dates were released last week - is that when they went on sale?:confused3

Still havent rung for my adrs either:rolleyes1 - geez - I need a good kick up the bottom to get me on that phone:rotfl:

I am doing the "Keys to the Kingsom" tour with another Dibber in October - (yes- she called and booked it for me!), we havent met, she had no-one to go with and we were scheduled in the MK anyway that day so I said I would go with her. Its a half day tour, so I'm meeting Neil and Ellis afterwards. Really looking forward to it! We did the backstage magic full day tour years ago and loved going under the castle into the utilidors. We saw Pooh without his head on:scared1:

Where is everyone?

Chris?

Lindy?

Heather?

Anyone?????? - I know all our US friends are zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm all alone and its lonely :sad1:

I'm off to the post office,

hope theres someone to play with when I get back or I'll have to start packing again:scared1:

I have always wanted to do one of those tours. I just never took the time to do it. How long are you guys going to be in fla before the cruise? Are you also doing universal and sea world?
Good luck today!!!!pixiedust:

Good Morning Friends!

I'm back after a few days of taking care of my mom after her surgery. Glad to be back where people make me happy. :)

So, I see I missed a bit too.

First and foremost..a huge  to both Brenda and Karen for favorable test results today.

Secondly, Liz...so sorry to hear about your birdies. I think I may agree with Karen about the shock of the move. How long were you in your other place? Also, that is so sad about your stalkers. Maybe a moderator could help?? There must be a way to ban people from certain threads. Maybe a screen name change is in store for you Liz.

Thirdly, I'm not a wine drinker but like Tina, I'd love to come and watch and take a few little sips here and there. Now if it were a Margarita tasting I'd volunteer to be the "Designated Drinker"!:thumbsup2 Far be it from me to miss a "Ladies DISer Meet". Hopefully the wine tasting does not coincide with my first "Castaway Cay Club" get-together.

Well, off to my bike again. Last night I rode 20 miles on it. Ooooh does my butt (a big one, according to Jeff:sad2: ) ever hurt today.

Talk to you all later:flower3:

One for the ladies

>One day my housework-challenged husband decided to wash his Sweat-shirt.
>Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to me, "What
>setting do I use on the washing machine?"
>"It depends," I replied. "What does it say on your shirt?"
>He yelled back, " University of Washington".

>"It's just too hot to wear clothes today," Jack says as he stepped out of
>the shower, "honey, what do you think the neighbours would think if I mowed
>the lawn like this?"
>"Probably that I married you for your money," she replied.
>-----------------------------------------------------------
>
>He said - Shall we try swapping positions tonight?
>She said - That's a good idea... You stand by the ironing board while I sit
>on the sofa and fart.
>-----------------------------------------------------------
>
>A man and his wife, now in their 60's, were celebrating their 40th wedding
>anniversary. On their special day a good fairy came to them and said that
>because they had been so good that each one of them could have one wish.
>The wife wished for a trip around the world with her husband.
>
>Whoosh! Immediately she had airline/cruise tickets in her hands.
>
>The man wished for a female companion 30 years younger...
>
>Whoosh...immediately he turned ninety!!!
>Gotta love that fairy!

>Dear Lord,

Good luck today!!!!pixiedust:

Hi Lori

The tours are really great:banana: . They even have a family one so the kiddies can join in - you have to run around the park looking for a baddie - its Captain Hook I think. Its sounds like fun, but we have no time to do it this holiday. Our schedule is packed tight enough. We are doing Seaworld - I have to see Shamu every time I go:love: - I love those whales. The one time we were the only people by the viewing window and Shamu came to the glass for ages. I have some amazing photos of him up so close but I cant post them cos they were old negative type ones before we had our digital camera. He played with us for a good 15 minutes before antoher family showed up and then he just swam away and wouldnt come back. Its a real treassured memory. Ellis was only about 15 months old and was standing by the glass, Shamu put his face right by where Ellis was touching and the photo looks like Ellis is stroking his face:goodvibes

Sorry! - went off on a bit of a daydream there! Not doing Universal this time, no time in the schedule. Havent been for a few years, the queues put me off.

We fly out 13th and return 30th, so its going to be a busy 2 1/2 weeks.

thanks for the hug - still no results news yet.

Sounds like this wine meet will be quite a party!

20 miles! - no wonder it hurts:eek: - well done Nancy - keep pedalling:thumbsup2

Thanks for the laughs this morning Karen. Those jokes were great!

pixiedust: Good vibes for everyone w/all of their DR. appts.

I'm w/you Nancy, haven't known a Margarita that I didn't like, but the wine tasting would be fun.

Great jokes Karen, thanks for the start of the work day laugh:rotfl2:

I think we're going for the 16th. -- unless I change my mind and itinary AGAIN!

It will be our first time. Really looking forward to it.. Any candy we collect will be distributed to the cruising kids (and grown ups;) ), cos Ellis hardly eats any sweets , chocolate yes, sweets no - he's never bothered about them.

What time can we go in from? - I think its about 5pm? I'll be interested to see how they get people out:confused3 ...surely people who dont want to ride the rides could just stay in all day and watch the halloween parade ertc for free?

This trip is full of new things - it's going to be sooooooo exciting:yay: :yay:

:sad2: No news today - sis just emailed me...her doc wasnt there today so she has to wait til tomorow:rolleyes: - another sleepless night waiting:rolleyes:
