Its 6.30am and I've been up since about 2am.:sad2:

Too much stuff whizzing round in my head so I thought I'd do some research on removal vans and solictors while the house is quiet.

I will keep you company Karen!! I am always up till 2 or 3am

ps- whats the time in England if its 7am est? - I can never get this

Hmmm, well, if it's 7am now in England....It's midnight here in Alberta so that means it's 2am in Orlando. So you are 5 hours ahead of Florida time. So you would need to call at noon your time!!

We need a l'il wave methinks...

How's that Disney planning coming along???
confused009.gif

Not bad considering I hadnt done a thing til yesterday morning. I more or less know which parks we will visit on which days. We are sticking with Disney parks this trip. Once I started filling in the days it made me realize we just wont have time for Universal. I'll only have one day shopping:scared1:. and half day at Blizzard and Typhoon.

I still havent called with any adrs yet:rolleyes1 - the house got priority yesterday after lunch so I had to put a hold on the other stuff.

Ellis is back at school today and I have a million and 1 things to catch up on, so hopefully tomorrow I'll be ready to call through with my adrs. I only want 2 or 3 anyway, and I'm not too bothered what times so hopefully I will get a slot.

I remember the times we'd just drift into the park with no plan, itinary or anything and just go where we pleased and wandered into a restaurant that we fancied at the time. Mind you that was in Nov when it was quiet. We had problems last year at Easter.

I really should be ironing - where does it all come from:confused3

Do you always stay up late?

I was just thinking....

You are booking the Wishes cruise, yes?

If you want to see the "regular" Wishes, you will need to book for the 15th or 17th. If you book for the 16th or 18th, it will be Hallowishes for MNSSHP. (Hopefully they still do the cruises on MNSSHP nights!)

Just a little thought for ya :rolleyes1

More thinking....

Maybe we can have a little mini Dis meet just prior to your cruise??? Actually that might be a little better for us, that way we can bring Kira. If we do the cruise, we'd probably have to leave her with Grandma & Grandma since it will be so late!

So, maybe we can talk a few people into meeting up

(like ALL of you who will be in WDW then!! :jumping2:

Do you always stay up late?

Yup! I am a night owl. I don't sleep very well at night. Mind you, if I could go to sleep every night at around 4am, I could sleep ALL day :lmao:

Since I've had Kira, I don't have a lot of "me" time so it kind of works out....I get a lot done after she goes to bed at 9:30pm!

Let's see, since 10pm I have:

Spoken to my sister
Spoken to my brother
Caught up on my e-mails/PM's
Did some design work in Photoshop
Did 45 mins on my elliptical + my weight training

And now I am DIS'ing and looking over my WDW itinerary :rolleyes1

Mind you, I don't get much sleep :rotfl: If I can get about 4 hours, I can survive!

That's one thing that I LOVE about cruising...I sleep like a baby, even at night!!! Been on 3 cruises, had the best sleeps of my life on those cruises!! :goodvibes

Morning Lady's....Karen do you stop sleeping completely the last 6 weeks before your holidays?,Hazel jabs me in the leg at 4.00am to remind me she's got my news shorts or something as equally less important WHY!!.....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

"If I can get about 4 hours, I can survive!"

Cass i would love to get by on only 4 hours sleep a night,i once had a work colleague who managed on only a few hours sleep and if he ever had like 6 hours he's be like a bear with a sore head all day weird or what...:rotfl2:

Oh god - dont give me more things to think about! - we are doing mnsshp too on the 16th I think - well, thats what my itinmary tells me:rotfl:

A mini dismeet sounds good - I'm up for anything as long as I can fit it in.

Goodness! - you are a nightowl - I'm fit for nothing after 9pm:rotfl:

More or less yes Jeff. My mind wont stop thinking. I have a pen and paper by my bed for the "important" things that I'm likely to forget in the morning.

I woke Neil up at 3.30 to ask him if there was a secirity liht in the garden in the new house. He grunted - "dunno - havent been in the garden - same as you". At least it was more important than shorts this time:lmao:

Morning all.....it's a dull day in London Town, just a quick post to make sure we don't drop and in case I don't have time during the rest of today.

Have a good'un

Heather

>Johnny's family was invited over to see the baby.

Just off to get some more :) $ :)

Karen great news about the house, how exciting!

So soory to hear the news about the shooting yesterday, what a mad and sad world we live in.

Cass, sorry to hear about your cat, w ehad to have Wayne dog put down a few years ago..... we both knew it was the right decision, but man it was soooo hard. a big hug to you:grouphug:

off to go swimming now.................. xx still being good on my diet!

If you dont want to be truly depressed - skip this thread

:sad2: Yep - shes at it again.... Mother just come to the door and ruined my day:rolleyes:

Guess her first sentance as she walked in the door? ..."When are we losing Ellis then?" (I told her we'd sold last night - I got an "oh" in response last night.)

When are we losing Ellis? - what kind of sentance is that??

She could have said congratulations on selling, or I pleased for you or I'll miss you all when you move...etc.... but no..... When are we losing Ellis.

My reply was "You're not...we're 10 minutes away and you'll see him just as much. I'll bring him to you or bring you to him, its not a problem. I've said it umpteen times already".

Then she fills up with tears....yeah...make ME feel guilty now why dont ya...

You know she didnt even ask me how I'd got on at the hospital the other day? Not even a "how was it?"

I am just the person who finally produced a grandchild...now he's here I am not needed, listened to or thought of.

She can turn milk sour by just looking at it.

She then asks about the money I'm holding for her in a bank account - "what happens to that now?" she asks like I'm gonna steel it:rolleyes: - I would have loved to say "its gone - we used it as a deposit on the house". Of course I didnt say that but geez I was tempted. Instead I bit my tongue AGAIN and just told her I would change the address of the bank account and it would stay as it is. She didnt have to worry.

Is it me? - Am I being over sensitive? I know I have a lot on with the move, Ellis' school and my sister and possible match etc, but I am sick of being ignored or only spoken to when she needs something or wants Ellis to visit(not me).

As an example - I took Ellis to hers straight from the ballpit yesterday - it was awkward and I didnt really have time, but I did. She got him for an hour while I cooked his dinner ready for Beavers. I then had to rush him through dinner and to Beavers just so she could see him before the easter hols were over and he went back to school. Anyway, when I got there she called me into the kitchen, and there on the worktop were the plants that I had mail ordered as a gift for her over 3 weeks ago still in the original packaging and not even planted up. She showed me that 6 of the 9 had died and gone mouldy. Forgive me for stating the obvious here, but OF COURSE THEY'RE NOW BLOODY MOULDY - You've left them in the packaging for 3 weeks. Now I know its not the plants cos I ordered 18 - (9 each) and mine are flourishing and really healthy. She insists that they were like it when she got them...they werent - the packaging is clear - you can see the plants through the box - I checked them before she had them - I even gave her the biggest plants. She is really good usually with plants - she can get anything to grow, so it must have been deliberate:sad1: . I took them away and rang Guernsey where I had ordered them from, lied on her behalf :rolleyes1 and they said they would send more plants, but could not guarantee the exact same ones as they were a special brand new species of her favourite flower - fuscia (which is why I bought them for her as a treat) might be out of stock. I rang her to tell her and she moaned about them possibly being different.

I tell you...from now on I do nothing...I dont try anymore to please her...I dont go out of my way to do things she might like...I give up.

Sorry, rant over, just felt like offloading.

It must be easier being an orphan.

Karen love you did your best SOD HER,Sorry but there's a limit to every ones Patience....When the plants come next time go over, take a shovel with you so their no excuses Has to why she can't plant them, then when the hole is dug chuck her in it cover her up AND KEEP THE CASH....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

ps...Try talking with your dad and explain the way she's carrying on will only serve to drive you farther away.....:)

Looks like Nocturnal nancy has a sister now too! I'm the same way Cass. Just give me 4-5 hours and I'm good to go.

I agree about sleeping on the ship. I slept through EVERY night!! When we returned, Chuck and I slept from 7:00 pm to 8:00 am at the Hyatt. Guess I thought I was still on the ship.:)
