Allow me to be the first to wish you Happy One Year Older Day Abby!
For my up-coming dreadful-year-older day, I am expecting money or gift cards for a new digital camera, one way or another. After I get a new one I'll post updated pictures, considering the one I put on the Yahoo group is almost 3 years old!

Happy Birthday Abby!!:cheer2: :bday:
Awww, thank you! :flower3: It's not for 9 days but I'm making sure I get that camera! Actually the turning a year older thing doesn't bother me so much because I'll always be 9 years younger than DH, and I never let him forget it. :rotfl2: But do any of you feel like traitors in an adult body? To be honest, I do not have the maturity of an almost 34 year old. :lmao:

Nevermind....

Reserved Shore Excursions

You may not reserve shore excursions at this time. Please return 75 days prior to embarkation. If you are a Castaway Club member, you may return 90 days prior to embarkation. If you are a Concierge Guest, you may return 105 days prior to embarkation.

Since we are first time DCL cruisers and get the slim pickin's at 75 days out, I booked the RES package. As long as we pay by 105 days out, we can book our excursions and Palo 105 days out. DH doesn't know I booked it so shhhh, it's a secret! Not that he'll really care about it anyway............... Mr. Unromatic..................... I'm sure the kids will enjoy the romatic turn-down and champaigne breakfast in bed!:drinking1

Are you guys in the Twilight Zone tonight?

Not sure what Nancy and Brenda are on.

O.K., here's a question. If you are a first time cruiser and book the REAS package and therefore can book your Palo and Excursions at 105 days, if at 74 days, a day after you could normally book, you decide to cancel the REAS, can you? What is the cancelation policy on REAS?

I guess this could work for repeat cruisers as well to get a 15 day jump.

Just wondering.

I'm sorry, I don't remember what the REAS is? I searched the DCL website and got no results.

and can someone come over here and get all of this Easter candy out of my house!!!!!

REAS = Romantic Escape at Sea

Jay and I did it on our first cruise just so that we could book Palo early. We really liked it though, especially the romantic turn-down and the champagne breakfast in bed.

Most people get the kissing swans and rose petals for their turndown but we actually received a three-tiered towel wedding cake with little wash cloth doves and there were rose petals scattered all over our cabin.

Nancy can help you with that Easter candy. ;)

Nancy can help you with that Easter candy. ;)

Sure, as long as it's not a 3 Musketeers Bar or Crunch bars. Those two are the ONLY candy bars I don't like.

Anyone remember the "Violet" candies? I can only find them at Walgreens every once in a while up at the check out. They taste like soap!! LOVE THEM!!!!:yay:

My weakness is the whopper eggs. And the snicker minis. And the peanutbutter eggs. And the goldbrick eggs. AND I'M ON A DIET!!!

That's it. Rob is taking them all to work tomorrow. I guess I will let my kids pick out their faves first. I can resist if there is just a little bit in the house, but the Easter Bunny had a touch of Alzheimer's this year and bought candy twice.

Ugh! All that snow you WIers keep referring to. That's awful. It's April for goodness sakes! Does snow usually come this late in the year in WI?

Well, we all went and got our passport photos today. Hubby looks drugged. Katie too. I look bored. And Sammie looks like she's cheesing for a magazine cover! She's so cute! Next Friday, we have an appt at a local post office to apply for the girls' passports. John & I just need to send in our renewals. Another step closer to the cruise.

Happy early B'day Abby! I'm an April baby too. I love this time of year. I'm a big B'day fan.

two things i love our recees piecies and chocolate bunnies i could die for those and i need to go on a diet i am getting to pudgy from all the easter candy

O.K. my UK friends, it is after 1:30 here. Since you guys are 5 to 6 hours ahead of us, it should be 6:30 or 7:30 there. Don't you guys get up and go right to the DIS?

Just got done electronically filing my taxes. I figured I'd better get mine out of the way before it gets too close to the deadline. Since it takes about 24 to 48 hours to get a response that it went o.k., I thought it would be best to do it now.

Anyhow, I'm still up and may be for a little while longer. I'll check back to see if any of you are up and on.

Actually, I didn't have to interact with them today. Alex's teacher had me correcting papers while she gave them a test. She amazes me with the way she can keep the attention of a room full of first graders--on a rainy day no less!

I used to find it much easier contolling 30 kids in a classroom than my 1 at home:confused3 - they were age 3-5 - its amazing what the promise of a nice sticker will do;)

Happy birthday !:bday: party: :bday:

And...I've updated for those of you who care!!! ;)

I care! - off to read.

Ahhhh Jeff - I was a lazy thing this morniong - its now 9am and I'm still in my pj's! Been up about an hour and I'm in no hurry to do anything today so I'm being LLLLLLAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZYYYYYYY:cool1:

Cant even go to the gym today cos I have noone to sit with Ellis, so i might garden instead.

A bit premature, but w may have a bit of good news on the house move:eek: - we had a couple round last night for a 2nd viewing...the woman loves it but its £10k over their budget. We're willing to drop 5k, so hopefully they might offer today:banana:

We also have another family coming tonight for a 2nd viewing - kids havent seen it but parents like it, so they might be interested too.

The first couple breed Bull Mastif dogs! - the neighbours will love us! - mind you - it might scare away those bl**dy cats from the garden.

Fingers crossed!

It was the houses 17th birthday last Friday. I sure hope I'm not still here for its 18th:rolleyes:

Have a great day everyone:grouphug:

My guess alcohol was involved in some way Jeff:rolleyes1

No I didnt see it. I love tigers and lions. I could sit and watch them all day. Their paws fascinate me for some reason. There is a place somewhere where you can feed them, but it costs £££.

:bday: Happy April birthday!! I do remember it snowing in late April years ago in Ohio, and WI always gets worse weather than us. Actually we are getting pounded by rain right now but it's supposed to snow again this week. None of our snow over the last week has been sticking so we can't complain down here.

Where did you get your passport photos taken? I told DH to go to Walgreen's because right now it's only $7.99. AAA is $15.00 for non-members here.

I am a HUGE sugar addict but I have completely forgotten about the Easter candy laying around! Thanks for reminding me. :woohoo: My favorites are the peanut butter eggs too.

That's a good question. My TA didn't tell me that.
