Well, I'm back from our exciting school trip:banana: . We counted lorries, buses, cars and vans:banana:

One kid cracked me up cos he asked the teacher "what category should I put a minibus taxi in?" - he's only 6 bless him.

Yet another viewing at 6.30pm tonight. Lets hope this one is actually in a better position and wants to buy it tomorrow! Better go and hoover I suppose:rolleyes: - cant wait til we move so I can stop cleaning again:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: - I'm spending a fortune on fresh flowers too:lmao: . I gave up cooking cookies after the 2nd viewing - sod that - they were making me even fatter!

You could send the said cookies north you know:rolleyes1

Its really good fun and not at all scary. Very smooth and peaceful - apart from when they brush the tree tops and dip the baskets bottom in the little lakes nearby.:scared1: We got so close to the trees we could pick leaves off as we went over them....didnt fancy picking anything out of the lake though:scared1:

We actually wore our t shirts from the 1st trip on the 2nd trip - he asked us how long we'd had them cos they had made grey ones for 2+ years:rotfl: - he gave us a white one as a gift in exchange for the 3 years worth of free advertising!:rotfl: Didnt like to tell him they only ever get worn is when we're in Florida:rolleyes1

Chris - its very hit and miss as to which way you travel, on both of our trips we've been near Disney but not that close. We could make out Epcots ball etc but not close enough to grab Mickey by the ears and haul him in the basket:lmao: :lmao: - how cool would that be! - "Mickey kidnapped by UK basket maniacs!"

I just "KNOW" are luck we'd be the "uk family eaten by gator's" after landing in some poodle because some fat fella couldn't lose any weight before his dream cruise:rolleyes1

Cool! I didn't know you could go on balloon rides around Orlando! I've never seen anyone do this. Sounds like a fun way to travel around.

Karen - like Heather, we too would have jumped at the chance, but we don't arrive until 10/18. Bummer!

I love the idea of Plankton going on the cruise with us. We could take all kinds of silly photos. Just still wish Brenda & Jason could come.

Now, how silly are we. We already had a dining ressie made for Crystal Palace b'fast at the beginning of our May trip. Looking at our schedule, John says he wishes we could get in MK early for our last day of our trip, just to maximize the time. So, now we have 2 CP b'fasts scheduled!!! I love Pooh and all (see my screenname), but this might be overdoing it a bit on the Pooh! Oh well, the food has been pretty good in the past, so we'll just have more fun!

Tina

Chris - go for it - its great  . Doesnt matter how heavy you are - they just keep topping the balloon up to get to just the right height etc. Honestly you dont need to worry, I'm pretty sure it wouldnt matter how heavy you are. The large baskets have sections inside, so you cant wander from one side to the other etc. You get into your allocated bit of basket and enjoy the ride! I think they hold about 8-10 people. Its better than the helicopter ride.

Thats a whole lot of Pooh Tina:rotfl:

I think Brenda is going to have to give in if we all want Plankton. We can teach him lots of bad habits to take back home with him:rotfl:

We could become the Plankton fan club and wear "Plankton rules" t shirts at the terminal:lmao: - that would definately get us noticed or maybe a free upgrade;)

Chris - cookies going north??? - they dont even make it out the front door before they are heading south into my stomach:rolleyes1 I usually have no tastebuds left on my tongue cos I hate waiting for them to cool:rolleyes1

I can't begin to tell you how excited (in a very evil, take-over-the-world sort of way) Plankton is.

"Minion, minions, more minions!" That's all he keeps saying. :lmao:

I actually took a sickie today - the stupid Crohns is acting up a bit and when that happens it's never a good idea to wander too far from your bathroom (sorry - that probably falls in to to category of too much informaton).

I love the idea of a balloon ride over Orlando - I didn't know they still offered those.

And Tina, thanks for your kind thoughts. We are sure going to miss you all come Ocotber 20th. Just curious - how is the food at CP? Jay and I have been considering it for one morning for the exact same reason your husband gave. I'm not a huge fan of the characters that are at that breakfast, but Jason has always liked Piglet (I wonder if it's because he enjoys pork???) and if the food is decent I'd be willing to give it a try.

Hi all.

I don't have much time, so I just wanted to say Hi. I made it to Louisiana fine and already have had boiled crawfish!!YUMMY!

Brenda--did you ever get the pics of AKV from me?

Hi Paige - glad to hear you made it home safely!

And no...those pictures never made it to my inbox or email or whatever it's called.

Don't worry about it - we'll figure it out once you've got some free time!

Karen,

Normally I would jump at the chance to do the cruise with you, we've been wanting to do it for awhile now but we already have plans for the 15th and 16th. Actually we will be IN Epcot watching Illuminations on the 15th!! Now if it was the 17th (our anniversary and Brenda's bday) then we would have loved to join you! If you book it for the 15th, we will look for you and wave :wave2:

Brenda, I had never heard of Plankton ( or his evil minions! ) before you mentioned him to us in your trippie and I don't quite have the amazing wit and hilarious sense of humour that you possess, but I'm sure we could arrange for Plankton to be put into some memorable scenes with us on the cruise! And since I will be writing a live trip report with photos, you will be able to follow along with him on his crazy adventures! So perhaps Karen could abduct him for us and we can all meet him on board!

Don't mean to stick my nose into anything but if you were looking for some photos of the AKV...I found some the other day on WDWIG here:

http://allearsnet.com/acc/g_aklv1.htm

Me likey likey!!! :thumbsup2

Oh and thanks for letting me know about Kira's admiring DISer! I am on my way over there now!

Karen, I wondered when you changed your signature.
You used to say you had so many pounds to lose and now it says I have
no will power.

Either you already lost what you needed to and that would be awesome
or you've given up.

Hey you can't do that! You're my idol! All that chat about all the different exercise classes you were doing....you gave me incentive! I was thinking
"oh, wow, she is soooooo committed! She's going to be in fabulous shape come cruise time!" "I have to start making myself get off my lazy @$$!"

Karen, my role model.....don't say you've given up.....
I hate my round belly too!

Poohbush heres a joke for you.... Why does Tigger have no friends?

Cos he always plays with poo (h) !!

Brenda, we love Cyrstal Palace, for a few reasons.

First we book on a non EMH day for 8.05 ( normally on our first day, as we are up anyway, cos of the time difference!) We love this as we always get photos of the castle with no crowds. In fact last time we took a photo of us on main street with NO ONE in the background at all !

The food is a buffet, which is the noral fare for Disney, but we really love it. We have fruit, juice, muffins, and toast. Elouise loves choosing strawberries and melon ! Piglet is small so stays by the food for autograpghs and pictures. The others come around to the tables. Every half and hour Tigger grabs a plakard and they turn music on and they get all the kids skipping around the restaurant. Great fun, but hard for me to keep up with elouise who dashed off hand in hand with Tigger! :)

The other way we eat at CP is a very late lunch, so we can sit down and relax and call off, without going out the park. This gives us chance to re charge. The restuarant is light and bright and you can get nice views of the castle if by a window. It does get popular so I would do an ADR.
hope this helps.

Glad you are up for Planktons Holiday,! :thumbsup2 This will be a great crazy thing for us all to do ........................ we are a biggish group, so we can all join in, he will have the best holiday... ( better if he could take you guys,) and I promise we will all cuddle and love him. how cool, im getting excited thinking of it all now !!!:lmao:

In light of all the recent chatter about Plankton cruising with my favorite DISers, Jason and I thought you might enjoy a picture of our little green guy taking a different kind of cruise last fall:

We could do a Plankton Tag or guess where Plankton is now game. We send Brenda pictures of plankton and she has to guess where he is.

:lmao: Heather

Great idea Heather!!! I know just where I'm going to have Mr Plankton pose when I get my hands on him!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Today is going to be almost 70 and sunny here in Southeastern Wisconsin. I'm taking a 1/2 day off of work. I planned this yesterday just to spend time with the dog at the park. So guess what the monster did yesterday?? He was left outside for about 15-20 minutes when DD Kristin decided to see why he was so quiet. He decided to help the DHL man make a delivery. DS Tony had a new cell phone delivered to the house and Cabo decided to open it up...and EAT IT!!! Now mind you, he went through two boxes and a few plastic bags to get at it. Kristin found some (?) of the pieces in the snow and the driveway except the battery!! I question the pieces because of the battery. There was also a UPS delivery for me but I guess that dog loves me more because he didn't touch that. Loves me more, or fears me more...you pick!:rotfl2: Kristin yelled at him and he ran straight to his kennel and actually tried to shut the door behind him with his paw. :lmao: :lmao: I wish I would've had the camera rolling on that one!! :rotfl:

Called the vet to see what we should be watching for and she doubts that he actually ate the battery. He's fine this morning. :dogdance: Looks like we'll be in the front yard with boots on this afternoon looking for a battery rather than the park. :confused3

Hope everyone has a great day!!:yay:

:rotfl2: With all that extra power inside him your lucky he didn't have you up all night barking the house down...
