By the way - UK folks - they have shoe rack thingys for the back of the door in Poundland at the momnet - really lightweight - I got 2 - 1 for the shoes and 1 for the shampoo etc in the bathroom - just throw them away at the end of the cruise

Karen,

cute cute cute!!! And there is no way for me to tell that you bonked your nose on a door a few days earlier. :goodvibes

Karen,

It doesn't matter how big you type or how much space you leave in between. It takes 15 posts to get a new page.

Jeff - we'll be number 1 before we travel:cool1: - just let me know how many more we need and I'll just zap off a few thousand posts to catch up;)

Yeah, only about 69,000 more. #1 is just over 73,000.

The repo I'm on in 2008 is already at 50,000 and we still have about 14 1/2 months to go. People have been calculating that we'll hit a several hundred thousand by the time we go. :scared1:

O.K., so I'm reading this post and I see the name of the store is Poundland. I'm thinking, that's a funny name for a store. Then it dawned on me, duh, it is the same as a dollar store here where everything is a dollar. I'm assuming everything there is a Pound (not weight, but your money).

O.K., I'll try to wake up now and regain my intelligence.

Oh sure, I come on and everyone runs away. Guess I know who my freinds are (or aren't). :snooty:

Hello all................... Im so excited I have just arranged my 40th party with 7 of my best girlie mates!!!

I am hiring a 12 person limo with young/stripper uniformed peak capped driver to collect us from my home, drive us to Oxford about 40 mins away for a meal. I have then booked us into a late night comedy club, and private dance club till 3am. When our limo will colect us and drive us home ! The limo has a DVD, CD and PS2 in, as well as free champagne, as much as we can drink ! Yikes we can do ALOT in 40 minutes! :) :) ...... plus my favourite a "disco ball" ! :thumbsup2

Im not telling any of them WHAT we are doing ( Waynes booked it for me as a treat for us all ! ) ............. dont you just love him!

Im getting invites that say............." dress to impress, we are off out to celebrate my Birthday.... BUT im not letting on any more;)
( Ive checked the date 7/7/07.... weird on dates thing again??:confused3 ) that we are all free................. and we are..

so now my diet will have to start............... as all my mates are very beautiful, inside and out! :grouphug:

My nose is still swollen near the very top by the bidge but the rest has gone down.

If you look at the photo its the same width all the way down - its usually really skinny near the top - the only bit on my whole body thats skinny:lmao:

ps - just noticed the back of my jumper:rotfl: - I LOOK LIKE THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME:lmao: - Ellis was having a piggie back earlier on

Lindy - sounds like a cool party:banana:

Jeff - yep it s £ store - full of cheap rubbish but occasionally they have something useful

15 posts no matter how big eh? - wish I'd known that earlier:rotfl:

The only reason I didnt carry on is cos my pc seemed to freeze and wouldnt let me post anymore - even the pc is fed up of my rubbish posts:rotfl: - oh well, a few nearer to the 70,000 we need;)

I'm having a blowout for dinner:rolleyes1 - pizza, potato wedges with bacon, cheese and sour cream - I know I'll regret it later but I cant help myself.

Just watched the new movie TNMT - Ellis liked it - just means a whole new load of merchandising coming to Toys r us:rolleyes:

Oh, now I turn up and you go too:confused3

Jeff- what are freinds?:lmao: - just checking cos you know we're all your FRIENDS:hug:

And by the way - stop being snooty with your nose in the air - we can see right up it:lmao:

I'm back for a little bit before we run out to the stores.

Yeah, as Suz said last night, you want to go on the cruise to see all your little friends. I'm thinking, yeah, that would be a big reason to go on the cruise.

O.K., now she just walked down stairs here and says, "what, are you typing now that you're working on me?"

Trust me, nothing is going to work on her. I keep telling her she needs to get on this thread. My fear is that she'll never get off it. :rotfl:

I've spent the last hour looking through some navigators that someone had posted - geez - it looks busy:eek:

How do you figure out what to do? I was looking through the kiddie stuff - "oooh, Ellis will like that,....and that.... and that...." etc - at this rate we'll be lucky to see him;) - wheres the adult pool?:rotfl:

Seriously though - when do they expect you to get ready for dinner:confused3 - if its not activites then its photos in the lobby etc. I'm gonna be shattered! - I might get myself a pedometer and see how many steps I clock up going to and from the kids club:rotfl:

This cruise was meant to be a relaxing break inbetween a week of theme park madness and then 3 more days of them park madness afterwards (oh and shopping of course;) ). I'll be glad to get off the boat, but even then I'll probably be getting the navigator out and wondering what we're missing!

For those of you with youngish kids - what do you do after dinner? We would normally head to a bar and relax with a glass of something while Ellis played for a while then back to the room when he got tired, but it says kids arent allowed in the bars:confused3 - where do the families go? Dont fancy holing up in our room with no window - shhhh:ssst: ...dont tell Chris but I'll probably be on his balcony:lmao: :lmao:

I know they can go into the kids clubs, but would you put your child in the club when he'll be a bit tired shortly? - I'd feel really mean when I know he'd probably rather be in bed munching on cookies and milk.

I guess we'll just play it by ear....just curious for your suggestions and opinions as to what you've done in the past. Theres gotta be somewhere for families to go once the show is over?:confused3 - did I miss it on the navigator?

You little tinker,i started reading "Dont fancy holing up in our room with no window" and i just knew what was coming lady....

ps...Rob take no notice of Karen i will not going onto the balcony and am not even sure which room I'll be staying in either:rolleyes1

I'm not a tinker  - I'm an easter daffodil :lmao: - did you see my hat?:lmao:

Just opened a bottle of wine, so I'd better go before my spelling becomes terrible:rotfl:

Jeff - for gods sake - get Suz on your pc chair, selotape her to it and make her talk to us:goodvibes

I'll give her a day of me and Lindy and she'll cave;)

Neil is just the same - he mocks me every time I mention the Dis or the cruise.
Mind you - he does sneek a look over my shoulder once in a while but never admits it:laughing:

I've had a thought (i know Hazel i don't have many dear)why don't we all chuck in a $100 apiece and employ someone:rolleyes1 to come along on our cruise with us and write up our cruise report for us?,now all we need to do is think of someone who has the skill, wit and humour to fulfill our needs (no not THEM needs):rolleyes1Any takers please leave your CV on this BB......

PS...No Sofa smashers need apply.....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Karen,

Ellis is the same age as our son. The first cruise we did, we went to the shows after dinner. The second cruise, we didn't do any of the shows and DS wanted to and went to the club. The 3rd cruise we had late seating, so we could do whatever up until dinner time and then after dinner back to the room if the next morning was early and if not, DS went to the club for about an hour and Suz and I went to the Jazz Bar or the Comedy show if there was one.

As for time to get ready, Suz and I would get ready while DS was in the club or watching something on the TV (there is always something on. they have 5 or 6 movie channels and 2 animated channels). Little boys are really easy to get ready.

Even with all that DS has to do, we still didn't get to the adult pool that much.
