Nancy! What fabulous news about your daughter! Can't wait to hear if she gets the internship!

It is true that I could have done the multi quoting thing and condensed my messages some but then I wouldn't get my post count up:cool2:

Brenda, I'm almost done with HP and the Order of the Phoenix, should be starting book 6 within a week or two.
I'll be ready for the new book in July!

Must think postive thoughts about winning that lottery and hosting the HP Cruise:thumbsup2

Ok, Now that I've caught up a bit, I'm going over to Bandana Bob's house (we don't live together....wow! isn't that so rebellious in this day and age!)

Someday I'm really going to get him on this board:surfweb: :wizard:

Just thought I'd let you all know - I heard off my sister by email.

She didnt go into any detail of how she'd got on at all - just told me the appointment for my blood tests is April 10th at a hospital I dont know how to get to, so send me positive "needles dont hurt" vibes for that morning and good map reading directions while you're at it. I get lost at if you spin me round once so I'll have to do a pre-needle dummy run so I dont turn up late.

The odds of me matching are 25% so fingers crossed I do. I know they arent great odds but 25% is better than nothing right - positive thinking -I'll be a match:goodvibes

Thank you all for going through this with me. Like Lindy said I tell you lot things I dont tell my close friends. I only told my best mate yesterday, but its great and really helpful knowing I can blab to you all:grouphug: - thank you - you're all good friends for listening to my waffle day after day. It helps keep me sane - well, as sane as I'll ever be;)

Have a great weekend everybody - remember - positive thoughts:goodvibes

Karen, your post brought tears to my eyes mate......

I really do hope that you match with your sister. Try not to be too hard on her, my guess is she feels pretty cr*p as a sister, for all the reasons you said ( not keeping in contact, not seeing Ellis etc) now when things are REALLY cr*p, she needs your help. Its kind of hard to ask a sister, who you dont see that much. I bet shes keeping things factual as a way of coping. Things must be tough for your mum too, having to worry about the both of you. Just make sure Neil is giving you lots of wine ;) and chocolates..... its easter soon ;)

You keep waffling on to us as much as you want. we will always be here to listen and support you.:grouphug: I'm not too fond of neddles either, but think of things this way, you gave birth to Ellis, so a small injection will be easy to cope with.... positive vibes! :goodvibes

Take care mate.............xxxx

Rose, glad to hear from you :thumbsup2

I can't do the muti quote thing too well, sometimes it works other times it doesnt, so I guess its a great way to get our post count up, doing it the "old" way! :)

CHRIS where is this photo then ! ?

3 from the bottom. Just pushing you to the top.

Jeff thanks !!! you are a very good bumper !
Glad you still drop in on this thread, otherwise wherer would we be ?

Rose I love the idea of not living together, when dating, I think it makes things more romantic? I guess you dont get all his washing etc?:confused3 and when you do meet up, its quality time.:thumbsup2 Sadly Wayne and I have slippped into "Normal married life" ie, I get up do school run, he goes to work, I do tea, we watch TV etc etc.... when dating I rememeber getting dressed up to go out, taking ages to choose an outfit etc, that was so much fun.
We do try and make an effort once a month, which is great, but the rest of the time, we do take each other for granted sometimes.. Thats why I love my family holidays together.... no cooking, washing, ironing, tidying etc ! and time to really enjoy each others company.

Karen, you just "waffle" all you want!! We're all here for you. I pray you are a match for your sister and things will be back to normal soon for both of you.

Lots of  and  and:grouphug:

Nancy:flower3:

Hi folks, just bumping us cos we're slipping:eek:

Just finished hours and hours of ironing - where does it all come from:confused3

Karen, nothing but positive thoughts and prayers are coming your way. And please feel free to "waffle" all you want. The Dis becomes therapy, doesn't it? I know when I was worried about my dad, it was great to just go on the Dis and read, even when I wasn't up to typing in a post. All the "gabbing" takes your mind off of your worries.

Here's hoping you're a match and we'll all have something wonderful to celebrate in October.

Have a great day, all. We're off to baseball practices and softball practice today. Thank God that one of the fields is right behind the house.

Waffle...waffle...waffle...:goodvibes

Just taking the time to bump us.

Thank you all once again...Paige - it will be a huge celeration if I am a match:dance3: ....no... no if ...when I'm a match:goodvibes

Karen,
Here's some of this for you and your sister and the matching process:

:wizard: pixiedust: :genie: :shamrock:

Linda, Yeah we're definitely doing things differently than we both have before, not jumping in to anything too soon. We're getting older and wiser. But we have done some of our chores together and it's enjoyable to help each other out.

We'll definitely cohabitating for our cruise though!!!!:love2:
I'm really excited about bringing him because he has never been on one.

Actually.... on my last cruise in Nov 2005. I went with just my son and met up with a two other single women traveling with their kids and I told them that back at home that I had a huge crush on this guy I worked with but I hadn't told him yet ( I just asked him to build me bookcases at my home because I knew he was handy..... gosh I was creative!)....so he was at my home while I was on my cruise working on those bookshelves and I told the girls I was going to go home and tell him how I felt, and that maybe by my next cruise he'd be with me..........

And now he will be! Cool huh?
