Whats this to do with cheese???:confused3

I see a school project on the horizon for Elouise.

WI produces the most milk either by capita or overall (not sure, but I think we still produce more than CA) in the US.

WI also has the best cheeses in the US in competition. Not sure how they do in worldwide competition.

The city of Monroe I think produces the most within the state. It is located just south of Madison (the State Capital).

O.K., enough writing of the school report.

Anyhow, you can see why us Wisconsinites need to lose a little weight. It's all the cheese we eat!

just seeing if my posts work, im getting that couldnt find poststhanks!??? weird ( same as B was getting!)
:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Still getting the "postthanks" error as well.

I think the system is searching for the script that it posts after you reply on the boards. The website people probably called it "postthanks". It would be the one that says something like "Thank you for your post, if you included a survey it may take sometime blah, blah, blah".

I got caught by the 40 second rule and the error code that comes up with that is something like "postpotentialoverload".

So, once again.....WISCONSINITES...WHERE ARE YOU??????:rolleyes1

I'm here, but I know, I don't count. Guess I'm just a sub for one of the real cruisers. Call me a "scab" - like the fill in players for the NFL during the strike year in the 80's.

O.K. 4 posts in a row. Forget about where are the Wisconsinites, WHERE IS EVERYONE!!!!!

Looks like it may be a Brenda and Jeff day again. (I see your light lit. You can run, but you can't hide.)

I'm trying to lurk...shhhhhhhhhh, don't tell anyone or I will have to switch over to my second identity. ;)

Karen or Linda,

I think I remember that one of you received not one but two DCL upgrades already?? Sound familiar to either one of you?.QUOTE]

Wasnt me Nancy:confused3 - I keep telling Chris that balconies and concierge are to share though;) , I am also sending lots of positive thoughts to the disney staff to upgrade me to one with a window:rotfl: - see - I'm not greedy - I only want a teeny tiny window:flower3:

For UK cruisers Net mid season sale is next Sat and Sun.

Oooooh Lindy - Just back from Birmingham - Principles had 20-30% off so I just HAD to go.;)

I also tested Angel and their new one out called Eau de star - both are nice - I cant make my mind up, but I think Angel is winning. Dont worry if I buy it I wont take it on the cruise - I'll take pure poison instead - its a smaller bottle:lmao:

HI Konked Kruisers!!

Karen, my prayers are with your sister. Keep it positive, as that makes all the difference in the world. Here's hoping that her recovery is quick, definite, and as painless as possible. Medical science gets better and better every minute, so never lose hope.

On that note, I just want to thank you all again for all the kind words you all have sent my way concerning my dad. He had his surgery on Thursday, and was home in his recliner on Monday. Amazing! Paige

Fab news about your Dad Paige and thanks for your prayers - I'm sure they'll all make a difference.

If the DIS is working... I updated the argie-bargie again. Why exercise when you can sit in front of the computer for three hours?

Besides, I've got skating to watch for the next three days!! :lmao: QUOTE]

I have already told you once - skating is NOT an excuse - get typing!

Just sending a quick hello to everyone on this wonderful DIS board! I've not checked in awhile....busy with life like everyone else. :laundy: :car: :teacher:

I also wanted to know how to get access to the konkedkruisers list. I've tried without success.

Thanks!

:grouphug:

Michelle

Hi and welcome back Michelle - glad we havent frightened you off!

Someone will be able to send you an email re the yahoo site for KK - not sure how to or I'd do it myself:confused3 - I'm technologicially useless:lmao:

Oh and by the way - I finally got a tiny start on my dis prezzies - I got you all a postcard from Birmingham - I know...I know.......I'm too generous:lmao: :lmao:

Karen, I was typing...it's your turn to get reading!! ;)

How's everything going today? Was your sister's treatment ok? I know those can be tough...

You know, there is a way to not have your light lit. I don't think mine show me as one when I am. Atleast that is what I've been told. I dug around a little and I think I know how that works. But shhh, we don't want everyone to know this. :rotfl2:

D'OH! I forgot all about that option. :headache:

I havent heard off her:confused3

I phoned her on the morning of her treatment (monday) and gave her my email address and asked her to email me to tell me how she got on and any info she wants me to read of websites etc and I havent heard off her. Her hubby - (met him once - they got married without telling any of us - I met him the day after when she came round to tell us:rolleyes: ) hasnt called either. Dont think Mom has heard off her either. I was going to call, but I feel awkward and as if I'm pestering her. If we were close I'd feel able to call all the time to check on her, but I dont know what to do really:sad2: . I asked her to sort out the testing asap so we'd know one way or another and I havent heard anything. I'll give her a couple of days and then call I guess.

Its difficult.:sad1: I dont sleep thinking about it all, but I dont feel I can call her either. I know I have been like a bear with a sore head to Neil and Ellis :guilty:

PS - I already read the sunday brekkie experience - awaiting more - I'm hard to please but I enjoy a great read:hug: - keep it coming - it makes me laugh for a few minutes:goodvibes

That's too bad - I hope she doesn't keep brushing you guys off. Sometimes I think one of the most frustrating things about cancer - for everyone involved - is the total lack of control you have over what's happening. You can only do what you can do - be supportive and offer assistance - but it's up to her to do the rest. We're thinking about you.

Jason probably knows exactly how your DH feels - I was just awful while my brother was sick.

Well, I mean I was more awful than usual! ;)

And thanks for reading the trippie - if I made you laugh then I know I've done my job!

So Brenda, since it's our own little "chat room" here, what did ya have for lunch today? How is the weather in the StL area?
