Evening everyone!

Looks like we're going to need an ark! Lots of rain headed our way. You would think that would keep my noisy neighbors inside. Nope. They're already gathering out there, and it's almost 11:00pm. I can't stand those guys.

Love the smileys! Thanks Chris! See what you've done. We're all hooked!

Have to order some birthday party supplies soon. We've decided to have a SMALL party for Katie before we leave for WDW. This year she wants Ariel, her favorite princess.

UGH! I just heard another guest arrive next door. In a very loud truck. Is there a smiley shooting a gun? Well, I found this: This about sums it up!

Have a good Sunday!

Abby, sorry to hear about your booking woes....pixiedust: to ya!

Karen, you and your sis are still in my thoughts so pixiedust:to y'all, too.

Sept 1 for DisTag cutoff sounds like a great idea to me. Thanks again, Nocturnal Nancy (sexy name), for taking charge of this. It will be so much fun!:cool1:

I had something fun in the mail today.....the Cozumel map I ordered online! It is huge and full of information--restaurant recommendations, prices, beach info, car rental info, etc., etc. It was pricier than getting one in a bookstore, but only by a little bit. It was $8 and they accepted payment through PayPal. I got it at www.cancunmap.com if y'all are interested. So I am off to read it thoroughly with a glass (bottle really) of cheap white wine!

I am hoping someone knows the answer to this....Is there some way that we can find out how many ships will be in "our" ports (KW, GC, COZ) when we are there? That would be good info, don't you think?

Softball again tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed for nice weather. We got out to go to Mass tonight, and the rain had stopped, so hopefully that is a sign.

Have a great night all!

Paige, I went to your link for the Cozumel map and am wondering if I couldn't get one from AAA for free? Any AAA members out there that may know for sure?

Think I'll contact my TA to see if she has anything too. Also, Paige, do you remember the link for the Cozumel coupons you posted?

Great info Cass. I like seeing that there won't be too many ships in port on Grand Cayman. Cozumel looks pretty full!

Paige - great find on the map. I looked at the link you provided, and wow - that's a lot on info on that map. Looks liek you'll be reading that a while!

Sorry to hear about your booking troubles Abby, hope you get it straightened out soon!

And...another Argie Bargie update is complete. The fabulous Lindy Loo takes a starring role, so go check it out when you have a chance!:thumbsup2

When we were on the cruise in January we had no other ship in KW with us. I believe we had 6 or 7 (Suz is trying to say there was 10, but I don't think there were that many) in GC. In Coz we had at least a dozen ships.

The port was just completely jammed in Castaway Cay. You couldn't fit another ship at the dock. :rotfl2:

I know there are sights out there that have the listings of which ships will be in each port. Maybe you can look them up through the search feature. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: (search doesn't work well for those who don't know it)

Nancy, not sure abou the AAA thing, as we are not members, but here is the link for the coupons......http://www.cozumelinsider.com/index.php?Page=Coupons&LinkCode=COCONUTS&From=BEACHES

Here's some ship facts...

Max Passengers:
Legend 2124
Holiday 1452
Enchantment 2446
Magic 2400

The last time we were in Grand Cayman, there were lots of ships too! I would say maybe 5 or 6? We waited at the HRC for about 25 mins to buy our shirts !
Maybe Stingray City will be less crowded too then!!! :dance3::cool1::dance3:

Very interesting Cass. Do we tender in any of those ports?

Waiting for the answer on this one.:rotfl2:

Nancy,

You always have to tender in Grand Cayman. They do not have a cruise ship port.

Now when we were their, there were boats in a line up front, and then a second row of boats in behind that. You'll want to be in the first row, otherwise the tender ride will be long.

Oh oh...now I'm worried. Refer to my recent PM and you'll see why. how long is the ride in?

I don't know...I'm away for 1 day and 6 pages later.....

We have another hot one today. There temperature in the garden at the moment is 28C.

I was at a flower arranging competition yesterday. I've attached a photo for you to see one of the classes I entered. We had to use an unusual container and I used my sewing box.

Tried to get the darn thing to display in the post, but it wouldn't so I gave up!!!

Think I might look for something from Alaska for the DISTAG - just to remid you all of my trip when I see you all in October :rotfl: :rotfl:
