October 2021 no availability? [Update: Balance of 2021 Booking Now Available]

Anyone know why absolutely nothing comes up for next October? Every single room in property couldn’t be booked up already.

They aren't booking past September 2021 right now at all.

I would guess that they have put a pause on that time because they may not have decided yet whether they will still be operating at reduced capacity. They know that time period has a lot of demand due to the anniversary and it would be a lot of people to deal with if they allowed normal booking and then wanted to scale back. If it were me, I would book something off property with a good cancellation policy, so you have a room somewhere, and then keep checking for on property availability so you can switch if things open up.

Yeah 9/21/21 is the final date you can currently make reservations for. There are no solid rumors as to when reservations past that date will be available. But most think not until after the New Year.

You will be able to book rooms with DVC points though once the 11 month mark comes (if it’s your home resort).

I guess "most" were wrong since booking opened this morning for dates past 9/21. More Disney curve balls I guess.
