Hertz rates using USSA #105652 (must be member w/ID card) & coupon #105652

Not sure if keeping car both weeks at this point, two reservations pending both starting 10/1.

Went with compact vs midsize approx $40 less per week as local park/park this trip.

Do hope to be upgraded via gold membership

I finally found the 105652 coupon. It is $25 off for weekly rental for USAA members...I think.

I booked through USAA and used this coupon (105652) along with USAA's corporate code which entered automatically and got a pretty good deal. Total of $119 for full-size; 9-14 OCT. Without the coupon is was $148 through USAA.

I logged into my USAA account and clicked my way to the rental cars. I backed out in order to see the USAA code though it was automatically entered. I then found the promotional discount code under partner discounts or something like that. I just went right thru the Hertz site but it is a rather wonky one for me, might be a mobile issue?

Hertz rate with AAA and USAA codes for October 31-Nov 7. 119 base and 142 out the door for a full size, compact was $40 cheaper but we have a stroller, 3 kids in car seats and/or boosters so the size matters for us

The lowest rental I was able to find up to this point was $188 Enterprise through Costco... I know have a Hertz Class B for $83.12! Only 2 of us - so no issue with size - so EXCITED!!

I had commented a while back that I check USAA but have always found better deals elsewhere. I don't know if I just didn't check at the right time or the decent discounts were not available for my specific dates. This time around, it is looking like the USAA deal with Hertz will be my best choice.

It's hit or miss. I had been plugging in the rate for months, it just produced for this time period.

Hertz USAA just dropped down $20 for us. Full size Oct 31-Nov 7 $121 all included. Also they are having a Flash sell that applies to others as well, PC- 105652 and RQ- FLASH

Thanks; now I have to decide if it is worth an extra $30 to keep my full-size or if I should go with the compact for $89 (OCT 9-14).

I also had to make that choice, went with the full due to 3 kids in boosters and a car seat plus various other kid stuff that the Versa didn't look like it could handle.

I have good rate for a car from costco but would like to upgrade to Mini Van. Ive been checking for the last 3 months and nothing is coming down. We have tried costco, alamo, dollar and hertz. Arrive 10/27 and would like till 11/6. One of my problem in not taking it back to airport. Help

I'm not sure if this will work for you... i needed a rental from TPA to drop off the next day at MCO. This was going to be a somewhat expensive/difficult rental. I was playing around on the Alamo website, rented with drop off to same place, after I completed the rental I went back and modified my drop off place and the rental didn't change. I need something for 8 people, I rented a 7 person minivan hoping to find a toyota Sienna on the aisle, and I was also able to get an 8 person suburban type vehicle that was not an option when I went in with pickup at TPA and drop off at MCO. The 8 person van was available if I picked up and dropped off at TPA and I then went in and modified the drop off place. Go figure. If there is a Toyota Sienna I will get it for $68 if not then $148 for the 8 person vehicle. I did want to travel together so I could have a competent navigator with me. After this I have a 13 day 8 person minivan for $448.

Our customer facility charge jumped from $12.20 to $17.50 for our 5-day rental. The rate is guaranteed but taxes and fees are subject to change. I don't think I've ever had this happen but I have heard of these types of fees going up in between making a reservation and the actual rental period. I'm guessing MCO raised the cost to rental companies and Hertz passes it to the customer.

The frequent flyer fee on my reservation went up by 3 cents, and the passenger facility fee went up by a dollar a day.

The amount of sales tax also went up....I'm guessing that means this isn't a government mandated fee, which would probably not be taxable.

Rates are crazy expensive compared to other years I have booked. We have generally found Alamo to be the least expensive but they are so expensive. For those looking at the end of October into first week of November I found the best rates from Budget. And if you go to mousesavers.com and look up the different coupons you will find some good ones that are for anyone to use.
