I'm curious, what link to the "old website" are y'all using? Does this mean that My Disney Experience isn't letting you book like you want? Thanks!
Just thought of something... Booked a room only 7 night stay, and bought annual passes to use for this trip and next one in June. IF a free dining promo comes out, will I be able to take advantage of that?
Fellow Hoosier here! It has been about 6 years since I have flown. Do you mind if I ask how much your flight is? We will be flying out of Chicago. Spirit has round trip, non-stop for $236. Their baggage fee is $33 each way, plus $25 for a carry on. So that brings the price up to $327 each. Is that a good price? It has been that for a few weeks now. I don't know if I should book it or wait to see if other prices come down.Flight reservations made! They are higher than I have paid in the past but definitely down from where they were. Next step is ADR's next Monday!
For a family going for the first time, which character meals would you suggest? We'll probably only do 2, maybe 3. I'm leaning Ohana breakfast to see Mickey, and Akershus (breakfast? lunch?) for the princesses. My kids are DS 8, DD 5, and DS 2. I was thinking Ohana over CM because my 2-year-old makes buffets hard, though I think Akershus is a buffet? DD would like to see the princess I'm sure, but not sure if CRT is necessary. My reservation date isn't until the end of the month, if I'm going to make any. Is it necessary to get reservations for Sci-Fi?
Kellyjeani,
We did sci-fi on our last visit and it was a bit scary for the kids. The movies themselves are not so scary, but the horror on the faces and in black and white was a bit much for them. Mine are 6, 4 and 2 and they were not entertained. Plus the food is not that great. Awesome milkshakes, but I would probably do the brown derby. The food there is awesome and it is a nice relaxing meal, your kids are old enough that they should hang in there and you get the tix to fantasmic.

I'm thinking of trying to book MNSSH and would like to do a dinner ressie at BOG. What is the best time for the ressie so the kids can get candy and then we can stop to eat but be done before the first parade with enough time to get a good spot.
I have 4 kids 6 and under so eating dinner is not optional, but I also want to take advantage of the extra special festivities. This is my first MNSSH and I really have no idea how to plan. Please help!
When you say the headliners, do you mean that the special characters will be meeting and greeting with the kids in advance of the start of the parades, etc.?
The party doesn't officially start until 7pm though right?
The characters are out earlier?
I got Airtran for $280 RT for nonstops. No charge for carry-on and $25 for 1st checked bag, $35 for 2nd each way. We usually try to upgrade to business class for $89, which includes 2 checked bags. So really you are paying $30 for business class, which for us is worth it. That's as low as I have seen it with Airtran. If it goes down you can call and they will apply the difference as a credit on your account for the next flight you book.
Hope that helps.
