October 2013 discounts/promos

Hi all!

I realize at this point it would be speculation, but what are the chances of a free dining or room discount for October? Are some dates historically excluded? I'm trying to gather as much info as possible so DH will let me book a fall trip! (-: Many thanks!!

There is a PIN code out (only for those who have received it) for FD for check in dates of Oct. 1-2 and 18-31. Oct 3-17 is blacked out. If FD is offered for the public, there is a strong chance that it will be the same dates. No one knows if it will go public or not at this point. It is normal for the middle two weeks to be blacked out. There could be a room offer that would cover different dates, but again, it's just too early to know. Call Disney and see if there are any PIN codes on your account. Maybe you will have one. Good luck!

Called and no pin for me, darn it. Assuming this offer does go public, when should I expect that, historically?

Typically, the Oct-Dec deals are released in July, but it could even be early August.
