Hello,
I am planning on going to DL for the first time in OCT 2012, But I have never been there so I wanted to know a few things....

Weather?What should we pack?

How many days worth of tickets should we get? (2 adults) to do both parks?

We will be spending about 2 weeks out there. We also want to go to US, Sea World and maybe Lego Land....

If you don't plan on doing alot of character meet n greets (like pixie hollow, princess faire), I'd say 4 days would be plenty of time for 2 adults. Have FUN!

You might want to look at the SoCal CityPass, which includes admission to US, SW, DLR for 3 days and your choice of SD Zoo or Safari Park. So if you opt for the later it will save some good money.

For adults I would recommend this because Legoland is just ok. You will probably only need to spend 2 or 3 hours there when not with young children.
The SD zoo or Safari park are wonderful.


For days in DL, 3-4 should be fine. Just keep in mind that weekends have long hours and full entertainment while weekdays don't. Also Tuesday and Friday are the Halloween Party nights, though how the parties go in 2012 could be different. But if not for the interuption of those parties it would be complete offseason in DLR.
