I can't wait to make ADRs! I already have a pretty good idea of where I want to eat on which days.
Just wanted to let you know that we have made the drive from just south of Dayton, OH a few times and we stayed the night in Tifton, GA. It is a nice area with hotels and restaurants. We made it to WDW around lunchtime the next day. I want to say it is about 4ish hours from Disney. Last year was the first year we flew. We flew out of CVG (cincy/no. ky) and we got there in less than 2 hours. I have a feeling I will never see the city of Tifton again.
Hi - Planning on being in Disney 10/28 - 11/3 !!!! Hubs is a chef and thought he'd really enjoy the food and wine festival! (I know I enjoy it - been several times that time of year) plan is to stay at the Pop and celebrate a few things - Hubs 1st trip, my 42nd bday (10/10), Hubs bday 11/23 and our 4th wedding anniversary (11/30) I think we'll do MNSSHP too - got to think of some creative lightweight fun costumes for us to wear.. I have one thing in mind but we'll see..
Will do for sure! And, thank you, I have lots of questions!! We are trying to decide what kind of room we'd like, suggestions? Would love to have poolside, but I am a little nervous about noise while the kids are napping/sleeping. Another thought was the 70's building facing the playground. I was thinking it might be close enough to sit out and watch kids playing. But then I was looking at pictures and worried that the view might be blocked by some trees. Another thought was a lake view (looking North?) to possibly see fireworks, but worried of the trek with 3 kids in tow, and my parents (of which my father will have a scooter). Whadya think?Nice! First trip! Awesome! You're going to love it! If you have any questions about Pop, feel free to ask. I've stayed there many times.
My DBFF, her DH (they are celebrating their 18 wedding anniversary), myself and DBF are going. We're going Oct20-26th. Will be our first time staying at POFQ. Were really lucky and got flights out of STL for $215 round trip. Can't decided whether or not to try the MNSSHP?

If we decide to spend the $$ on airfare, we will have to keep it cheap, but since we will be traveling with some less mobile folks as well...we want to stick with nonstop, or at the very least, no changeovers! *We'll be flying out of StL as well! Can't wait!!!

We booked on Continental/United. American had similar prices but the flight times were better with the other. There is one stop and plane change for us in Houston. I didn't see any direct flights right now. I bet Southwest will have some direct flights when those dates become available.
I just can't WAIT! 
Sidenote: I have a brand new job that requires that I get past my 6 month probationary period before using my vaca. I'm so torn about whther I should be nice to the scheduling person and let them know NOW, or if I should wait until it's a bit closer so it doesn't look like I'm "that girl!"
