***October 2012 Thread*** MNSSHP + Food & Wine - Does It Get Any Better?

Welcome to all the new people joining us in our countdowm/planning. I am so excited to be under a year now. The next couple of months should fly by with holidays coming up and shopping!!
Anyone heard anything else about the values getting fridges?!

Oh I hope they get fridges, or we'll have to shell out more $$$

We just returned from our trip on 10/10. I am in full blown Disney depression. Before we even left we started planning next year’s trip. It will be myself, my husband and our daughter. We will be there from 9/29 - 10/7. We will arrive on our 5 year anniversary and our daughter will turn 3 in the middle of our trip.

I am already making lists of what restaurants we want to eat at and planning what park we are doing what day. Can’t wait. We are going back to the Beach Club Villas.:cloud9: We missed them this past trip!

We'll be there the same dates! :goodvibes

Hi fellow October people!

we're 90% sure we're going to book another trip. We've just come back from 2 weeks at POP for our wedding and we're thinking about staying at Port Orleans for our 1 year anniversary.

If we book it we will be going from 28th of sept to 12 of october. I want to do MNSSHP again!

Sadly I am no longer a fellow October person :sad1: due to work we are unable to get the same time off together in october which was our prefered month.

However we have managed to get some time off in September so we will now be going a little earlier then planned. Hope you all have a fab time in October! :goodvibes

Sorry to hear that :( But yay for going a little earlier!

We've thought more about our ADR's... so far we've picked:

Le Cellier Steakhouse - lunch
Les Chefs de France
Tappan Edo
Tokyo Dining
50's Prime Time
Hollywood Brown Derby
Boma
Citricos
'Ohana
Raglan Road

(in no particular order). We are there for 14 nights, think we are going to do picking at bits at food & wine for 2 nights. We are on the dining plan so still have 2 TS credits left to use. What do everyone think to the ones we've picked?

Ohana is YUM and 50s PT is a lot of fun. I've eaten at Le Cellier before and that was pretty good but I don't think it's deserving of a 2 TS credit for dinner. :confused3

I can't wait for F&W Festival. Cheddar cheese soup is calling my name...

I'm not a fan of Le Cellier so I say 2 TS is defintely NOT owrth it. I loved 50's prime time & O'hana!

Sorry, should have said...we'll be doing Le Cellier for lunch, so it's only 1 TS.

:thumbsup2 That's what we're gonna do too! I've read many good reviews about the place.

After reading the reviews it was one we definitely wanted to try. Although think we might get some of the chedder soup from food & wine a few days before just to see if we like it before we go!

Probably also should have mentioned we are 2 adults, no child on our trip which is why we've not booked an character meals (although I am maybe a little tempted to book 1900 fare with 1 of the remaining credits, but not sure yet).

Have to say I am finding this ADR's business a little tricky... I don't know what I want for dinner tomorrow, nevermind next year! :rotfl:

Best. Stuff. Ever.

We're 2 adults too, no kids, and we're going to book Crystal Palace for breakfast. I love Winnie the Pooh. :goodvibes

heehee Well I live in Canada. I eat chedder cheese soup here *yummy* but the kids want to go there to eat lunch. I love cheese and cauliflower soup! Mmmm and brocolli soup!

Funny story about the Canada Pavillion. When we went the first time I was in grade 5. I was so upset because EVERYONE in the Pavillion representing Canada was speaking french. Majority speak English in Canada but English and French are our official languages. I was so upset about it that I wrote to Disney and told them that English should have been represented because it gives a false appearance that everyone in Canada speaks french. Someone from Disney actually phoned me! Aparently at the time we went the students were all from Montreal, Quebec (mostly French dominant) and that's why they were all speaking french. I don't really remember anything else about the call but I thought it was really cool that they called me to say they got my letter and to explain.

It's really cute that they phoned you!

I'm thinking that as I like both cheese and soups that I really should like it but just want to try a little bit first just to be sure.

Ok people...............I'm officially under a year for countdown.............Whoooooooooop whooooooooooooooopppp!!

As of today we have 51 weeks and 2 days til we're on that plane! Come on!! :cool1: I only get excited *** now I can actually start telling my family how long we've got......There's a rule in our family ya see, only allowed countdowns less than 52 weeks (ridiculous I know, hence me doing a 'secret' countdown to myself since 63 weeks! *insert sneaky chuckle here* ;) )

I can't believe it's going over so quickly, I have a trip to NYC in February and even though it's my first time and I am way beyond excited......I can't help but look forward to Florida more! Eeeeeeeeeeeekkkkk :dance3:

Hope ur all good and just in case I don't see ya.....Good morning, good evening and good night! :flower3:
