***October 2012 Thread*** MNSSHP + Food & Wine - Does It Get Any Better?

So happy to be posting here! Visited WDW for our 2nd trip this past May and it was even more magical than our first!
I've been ready to go back since we got home!!! DH hasn't been quite as excited though (he is a Disney Lover... just doesn't plan ahead as much as I do)

Anyway while watching the new Winnie the Pooh movie the other day with the kids I made the comment "this reminds me of our Pooh breakfast...I'm ready to go back" DH then responded "I bet it's fun this time of year... we should go next year for Halloween"..... He didn't have to say that twice!!!

So off we go in Oct 2012 for our third trip! Still sorting out dates/ vacation time and budget... but we'll be there!

Lynn (our DVC member we're renting from) made our reservation first thing this morning!! I'm so excited! She requested a savannah view for us & after looking at a map I found online of the room layout, there's a decent chance we'll get that or at least a pool view. 11 months to go!

We are very tentatively planning on going down Oct. 21 - Nov. 3. We're thinking All Star Music for a resort, and crossing our fingers for free dining. I have no idea how likely that will be. Barring that, we'll hope for a PIN.

I did just get an offer for a $200 Disney Gift Card if I got a Disney Visa. I thought that was pretty awesome.

We're booking at our home resort, Bay Lake Tower because we can get book there 11 months out. But we're going to try and switch to Boardwalk Villas at 7 months out, because being near the F&W Festival is so tempting!

Next to the button at the bottom of posts that says quote there is a smqaller one that if you hover over it it says multiquote...click that button on all the posts you want to quote and on the last one hit the big quote button and it seem to work!

Hi All! I am finally able to jump on here. Let me introduce myself, I'm Katie, the obsessive planner. We will be going to WDW Oct 7-13, 2012 and staying at POR in one of the new Royal Rooms. My DSS & DH are so excited! We made our countdown chain yesterday and we will work on our 30 day countdown calendar as we get closer.

The boys are super excited to be going during F&W fest. DSS is such a foodie for a 9yr old. DSS is also very excited to be on the adult dining plan this year. He hated the kids options last December.

I am debating doing a PTR, but I guess I should if we plan on doing a TR once we get back.

Can't wait to get to socialize with the grim grinning ghosts in just under year!

Looks like we'll be pushing back our October trip two weeks and going to have a November 2012 trip.

While I can't be too sad since this now means I get to celebrate my 30th birthday in Walt Disney World and still get to enjoy Food and Wine, I was looking forward to Food and Wine & MNSSHP in the same trip.
