***October 2012 Thread*** MNSSHP + Food & Wine - Does It Get Any Better?

BOYZ II MEN was super crowded last year, so if you want to sit and watch be warned.

Sometime my DH and I just hang out in front of the American Pavillion instead of in the stage area.

I'll have my three kids...I'll be lucky if I get to watch just one song! :rotfl2: I'll buy them a treat and we'll just hang out and listen to a song or 2.

My first concert ever was New Kids on the Block. lol I was in grade 5!

Boyz II Men was playing when I was there in 2009 and the lines were insane.

My first concert was a Tiffany and New Kids on the Block combo concert :)

My first concert was Pat Benatar in 1981 or 82. OMG I'm dating myself!

NKOTB was my first concert as well :rotfl2: Just gonna miss Boys II Men.. Looks like its Smash Mouth!!:cool1:

My first concert: Color Me Bad opening up for Paula Abdul!! Now that was a concert!

NKOTB was my first concert too! Since the reunion I've seen them about 10 more times. :rolleyes1 Making up for lost time I guess.

They weren't my first, but pretty close. I did see them "back in the day."

That's a pretty cool line-up :thumbsup2 Wish I could see Sugar Ray, Boys 2 Men, or Smashmouth though...I get 38 Special and Blues Travler :sad1:..dunno who the others are :confused3

Y'all had me freaking out here, I saw the posts about NKOTB before I saw the schedule of artists playing! I thought I was going to have to change our dates so I could see them!

I did the same thing! I saw NKOTB this last summer and to see them at Disney would be awesome!

It's funny. We went last year Oct 15 - 22nd and had Sugar Ray and ELO. this year we go Oct 1-6 and get Night Ranger, Sugar Ray and Starship. We've already seen Starship at least 3 times at Disney already. Wish they'd change up the weekends a little better so I wouldn't always get the same acts... But not a big deal in the scheme of things - good thing we like Starship though! :teeth:

I get a choice of BOYZ or Smash Mouth.... or I could just drag the kids to Epcot two days! LOL!!

OMG, I can't even imaginepixiedust:

I'm trying to justify the cost of seeing them in Hershey in August and just can't bring myself to do it with planning my 2nd Disney trip this year - seeing them IN Disney would be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

My new thing to be concerned about this week is the heat.

Summer finally kicked in last week here in New Orleans, and it's always miserable outside.

Our last trip was the second week of November, and it was nearly perfect temperature-wise...here's hoping jumping three weeks ahead of that doesn't change much.

How hot is it usually in October?

How soon should I buy MNSSHP for the October 30th night? I was told it wasnt a very busy night and wouldn't sell out very fast... Thoughts?

I did already book some ADRs though: Coral Reef lunch and Ohana breakfast. Other than that, trying to convince my DH that going from the Ohana breakfast straight to MK for my daughter's BBB makeover is fine, cuz it'll be on her birthday. He's not quite sold on that idea yet...
