***October 2012 Thread*** MNSSHP + Food & Wine - Does It Get Any Better?

Let's see we are about a week away from being able to switch to BCV/BWV at the 7 month window and about 41 days away from being able to book ADRs. I even emailed my parents the link for menus to pick out where they'd like to eat. So far CP for breakfast (which we do every trip anyways), Rose&Crown for dinner, and 'Ohana for dinner are their choices. At the top of me and DH's list is Flying Fish, Le Cellier, Be Our Guest (please be open!) and Plaza Restaurant.

I'm also working on planning our Universal part of the trip as well. Looks like we will stay at Hard Rock Hotel first and go to HHN that Thursday (Oct 18) with a stay through Oct 20. Then our WDW vacation will begin.

You're not the only one waiting on BoG to open! If it does open in time for our trips, I wonder when the ADR booking will open. I can only imagine how that day is gonna be! This thread will be crazy LOL.

If BoG is open for our trip, I could be scrambling to change my ADR plans. I'm not sure what we would drop in order to fit it in. I actually haven't looked at our Wish List lately because I was driving myself nuts trying to figure out our days when I don't even have park hours yet, so I intentionally left it alone. But dreaming of BoG, especially after seeing that video last week, is making me antsy to start playing with plans again.

I was reading SOMEWHERE, can't remember where. That most new restaurants do not allow ADR's to be made until they are in soft openings and then they are available for about a month out. So hopefully in August we will hear something so its available for all you late September people!

Less than a month away from being able to make ADR's and we just paid everything off this morning. Huge sigh of relief and now to just save money to get the car down there and to pay for all of the junk I intend to bring back with us haha.

Love this thread. We're arriving 10/25/12 and will be there through 11/10/12 to celebrate our 10th Anniversay. GF&CBR

The family is coming down for the VR on our actual anniversary (10/26) and we hope to go to MNSSHP that night.

Major hurdle jumped yesterday. We bought our flights down. We had deliberated about who to fly with, and we weren't happy at all with these prices. But we decided to bite the bullet and gamble that the cost was only going to go up and so we went with JetBlue because of their schedule. It's a direct flight in the morning which is what we really wanted. We'll keep watching to see who we want to fly home with...it will depend on what JB's schedule is like when they finally release our return date.
I am so excited to have this done! It feels more real now...KWIM?
