Adding all of you!

For those of you going the first week of Oct, our dates overlap There seems to be a lot of us going the first week of Oct. What gives, I thought it was supposed to be a light travel time??

Will anyone have Lime Green mickey heads??

I will try to have a LGMH... I tend to rip them off the first day and then end up with not having one!!

There are ALOT of people going in October, not just the first week! I compared us to some of the other planning threads (even Spring Break ones!) And we have way more people than them! Hopefully that just means those planning for October are wonderful DISers and the rest of the world will be staying away!!

I already have them sitting in my bag. Last time I was at Home Depot I grabbed some. I made mine into a keychain with my DIS name on it for our 2010 trip.

Do you have a picture of the one from your March trip? Maybe we could get some ideas from that. The first thing I thought of for Halloween was Frankenstein because of the color.

I wouldn't even know where to begin...but if ANYONE has any ideas go for it!! We copied this and added our dis names and hung them on our park bags.

i can't wait to eat here! i soo soo hope it is open and i can make adrs when we will be there i already have a belle dress for my dd too!

I think a tag for us would be awesome! i have seen a Halloween one with mickey as a skeleton that looked neat over one the creative boards.

I think my dd will have all brand new clothes on this trip. I have so far made 1 mermaid dress and 1 Rapunzel dress, bought belle, Rapunzel, and Ariel costumes. I found more fabric this weekend and now have 3 more dresses for her in the making a mermaid, Rapunzel, Ak outfit.
so far 8 outfits and we will only be there 8 days i sure since we are still 7 out i will have more done by the time we go!
need to stop sewing dress for Disney!

Agreed! People that actually know what they're doing in the parks would be a plus. Maybe us DISers are planning it because we know it's a quiet time and the general public isn't that savvy?

That's so cute! I was thinking of a Mickey Frankenstein with the bolts & black flat top hair. But I'm not an artist so it would come out terrible if I tried it!

We haven't booked anything (hoping to do that next Friday), but as of right now, it looks like our dates are October 29-November 10 (I'm hoping/pushing for Nov 11 ) I'm booking the reservation at the CSR, but that will probably change because we're more than likely going to do a split-stay. (my ideal would be CSR/POLY, but if that can't happen we may just stick at the CSR or "cheap out" and do the POP/POLY...not dissing the POP, I've been before and enjoyed myself very much! )

I've never been during this time of year before, so I'm pretty excited. With the exception of Christmas of 07' I've only been in warmer months (April, May, June, and even August ), so I'm also excited for the "cooler" weather

For the LGMHs, last October I finally decided to laminate two back to back. It worked great, and they are still holding up fine for this October trip

My parents also did a killer job building one of the biggest LGMHs around for the front of thier RV. It's made of wood, and is pretty much weatherproof. The beer cases are just to give size perspective

It's backlit for nightime ... how cool!

Mounted on the RV at Ft Wilderness last Oct ... look for us again this year in October

Wow, that's awesome! I love it! The backlighting looks amazing.

Last year, I glued them back to back and wrote my DIS name on both sides. I punched a hole in one of the ears, put a keyring through it, and attached it to my bag. Held up pretty well for the week.

Nothing is final yet, but I may have talked DH into traveling on October 30 and staying through November 12 or 13. Trying to see how much we can incorporate of the Christmas celebrations into this trip. Waiting for park hours and event times to come out for optimum travel dates.

Awesome. We'll be there the 21st-27st, POP as well. I may pass you and not even realize it.

My girlfriend's birthday is October 5th, and mine is November 11th, so our trip is more or less in between both.

But to fair, we'll be celebrating her first WDW trip more than anything.
