So glad you knew what you were doing and got your deal worked out right. I called tonight and had no pin but a nice CM was very encouraging and told me to look for a fall GP offer mid June. I had told her I wanted to go in October.

You've probably already done this, but make sure you have some saved offers for October on disneyworld.com. My mother and I both received the same PIN email and I believe that's the thing that we both have in common in terms of what we have done to make ourselves "visible" to Disney. Good luck!!!

Also, for others who received emails with blank PIN numbers, I received another email this morning that had a subject line "Oh my! We forgot your Walt Disney World savings PIN last time.". So I suspect those of you who received PINS received the same email this morning. Again, it doesn't really matter since they will have your PIN in their system if you have an account at disneyworld.com.

I booked my October trip last night and used my FD pin! I didn't have a pin code attached to mine, but the CM was great and got it all figured out. I also got reservations at all the TS restaurants we wanted to eat at. I can't wait until October!

Maryj11- it is a Free QS dining PIN code. That was another difference I noticed. If you want to upgrade to regular dining plan, you must pay the difference regardless of room category. But still a really great deal! I have seen a few other people besides me post about getting this one also- so I know it's out there...

Yes there absolutely is another PIN code that includes all of Oct. Actually, it includes all dates from 08/01- 12/20 EXCEPT Nov 17-23! That is the offer I received via email. It does differ some as far as room categories from the "PIN-less" Free Dining offer alot of people are getting recently- I can't book AoA, but apparently AoA IS included in the "pinless" one...

I was really surprised with how many dates are included with this PIN! Works great for me as I want to arrive Nov 16th & thus will have FD for our entire Thanksgiving week vacation. Although, it would have been a bonus to be able to choose AoA... Oh well- next time!

So glad to hear about that other pin....that is the one I really need! I have a room discount right now, but FD is WAY better me with 4 kids, especially when 3 of them are considered "adults"

By the way, would it make a difference if the pin came to an email address that is NOT the one registered to the account used to make my ressie? I'm thinking that's why the CM couldn't use it...it didn't show up because she wasn't checkiing the right email? She actually said I had NO pins attached. I think I need to call back!

I received one pin months ago and used it for POP but it really just came down to maybe 10 dollars off of regular price. I am looking every day for FD or a better resort discount. My question is if I bought my tickets seperately from when I booked my resort do I still qualify for FD pin?

No, but an option is available...
FD requires you to pay rack rate for your room AND purchase at least a 2 day base ticket for everyone ages 3 and up on the reservation. If you already have tickets, you will still have to buy the minimum tickets with the FD package, but you can save them for use on a future trip.

Also, having or not having a trip already booked does not increase or decrease you chance of receiving a PIN. They are random.

So after reading through today's posts about a FD pin for all of October, I called and spoke with a CM today. My vaca is booked for one of the weeks that was blacked out with the last Oct FD pin. I have 2 accts setup on WDW site: 1 with my home add, 1 with an alternate add. There was a FD pin on the alternate add, but under my husband's name. He isn't even on the profile that I setup...?? They wouldn't discuss it with me as I booked thru AAA, so had to get the AAA TA to try and work this out for me. I'm waiting for that poor lady to call me back. I tried to tell her when I booked that I was 'high maintenance' with Disney. I'll need to try and bring her something if she gets me FD on my AoA reservation and I still manage to save $!

I just called today and I got too excited over having a PIN code that I ask enough details. He said it starts October 19th. Would you guess that is the Free QS pin? Anyone checked availability for Oct. 20-25ish? It didn't look like there was much- I'm hoping more will be released if FD goes public for October. I wanted POR Waterview.

So I just called and no PIN for my household.... but she told me to keep watching becuase there would be something coming out in the next few days. Can she see something that I'm unaware of?!?!?!? I don't want to wish my weekend away, but really, this is going to be on my mind all weekend long!!!!

So the AAA TA says that there is not FD on my alternate account, only the FD for the days with the blacked out period that covers my dates. So I wonder what the CM was talking about? Hopefully, I'll receive a piece of mail to the alternate address that will actually contain the PIN and I'll have concrete proof for the AAA person to work with. Wow, this vacation is really stressing me out and it's still months away!!

And, of course, I made the mistake of not getting the CM's name that said I had a PIN so there was no way for them to know that I called. (I asked him if there was a PIN code that I could write down and he said I just needed them to look under "Angela" (I gave my nickname when I called.)

Back to hoping for a public discount!

I would really like the FD for Oct 14th week. I already have dining reservations but may have to cancel them because it is $800.00 some more for the dining plan. I'm going to be really disappointed if they dont have FD for our stay I guess I have gotten spoiled getting FD for our last 3 stays at Disney.

Same thing happened to me! Tuesday night they said we had one, but couldn't give me the pin. Said my TA could get it the next day... next day came and they said "NO PIN"

so after reading this thread, I decided to call disney just to make sure I didnt have a pincode attached to my name. I DID -up to 20% off room rate anytime until december!! We are staying at deluxe resort so I am super excited. just saved a bunch!
