We are booked for Oct 1-5 for F&W, MNSSHP and my birthday!!! I am so excited to be going back in October for a change. We skipped F&W this year, so I am really looking forward to doing that again!

Right now we are booked at Saratoga Springs (our home resort), but I'll probably look at switching to BCV or BWV at 7 months out. No idea about restaurants yet...but I'd like to try a few new places for a change.

we're headed Sept 28 thru Oct 9th for some Trick or treatin' with the mouse, my birthday (oct 7th) and food and wine festival!! I'm soooooo excited! We got back from our December trip and already had the plan in place to go for the halloween party!

My best friend (first trip) and I will be at the BWV on Oct 4 - 11. We are looking at adding days on but that is where the planning begins.

Your description sounds like mine except our dates are a little different we're 9-28 to 10-9. When's your bday? Mine is on the 7th so we're planning on doing the MNSSHP that night too! For once I'm excited about getting older, lol.

I am looking forward to our Oct 1-11th stay at the World. We are staying at our favorite Polynesian first them moving onto BLT after the first few days for our first DVC experience.

I am hoping a good friends of ours will join us for a few days for the F & W Festival. Its fun to get a wider variety of entrees and snacks for my dining reviews that way.

I started looking at my dining line up. After a few experiences this past Oct, changes will be coming I must say the online adr system is awesome when it is functioning

I'm in the process of planning for Oct. 12-16th. My very dear friend took me for my 40th in December 2009 (haven't been since 1973) and now I'm itching to go back
I have decided to take my Mother who also hasn't been since I was very young. We are planning to stay at the POFQ with DDP and 4 day park hoppers. This is the first trip I am planning and am having sooo much fun checking out all of the restaurants. My hope is that the free dining will come through and I can upgrade to Deluxe There are sooo many restaurants I want to try! Anyone know what days MNSSHP will be happening? I'm trying to make my schedule around this.

Lucky you! I hope you had a great trip!! I think it's going to be 1900 Park Faire formy birthday dinner--It's a fave of DD's and mine (I loooove the strawberry soup) but it's not set in stone yet.

I am just getting really started in my planning for out Oct trip. I think I narrowed the dates down to Oct. 16-24. I am struggling with what resort to do. This will be my ds4 first trip so I was thinking either ASMo in the Toy Story building or CBR in a pirate room. Wonder which he would enjoy more. I have plans to do MNSSHP twice(I have been dying to do this for 3 years and I dont want to miss anything). Also will be celebrating my 40th b-day and I am going to make ADR's at Cinderellas Royal Table. We will do at least one more character meand maybe two, but not sure which ones yet. My choices are Tuskers for breakfast, CM for breakfast, or Crystal Palace for a early lunch. Finally I am going to let my son do the Pirates League right before our first night at MNSSHP. My dh, me and him all will be dressed liked pirates.

So right now I just need to confirm my dates and decided on a hotel. I am going to spend the last 2nights at the Contemporary as part of me turning 40.

Yay, we received the 40% off deluxe PIN and booked October 25 - November 3. Now I have to wait for the MNSSHP dates to come out so I can pick a date and start a rough itinerary.

Strawberry soup? Never heard of it but it sounds good!

DH and I like to go during the F&W Festival every year. Our favorite moderate resorts are POR and CS. Our last trip was Oct. 3-10 '09. This year I will not be able to get that week off from work so we will have to pick different dates. We usually don't book this far in advance so we still have time to decide. But we do have our favorite restaurants that we try to eat at on our annual trips. We love Ohana, Le Cellier (which unfortunately we aren't always able to get into) and the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. Newer favorites are The Wave, Raglan Road, Kouzzina, and Captain's Grill. We try to mix it up and try at least one or two new restaurants every trip.

I can call DVC in two weeks to try to switch our resort for this trip. I was originally thinking BWV, but since it will be so warm that time of year, I am now kind of leaning towards BCV (SAB!!). Decisions, decisions!

Count us in too. We booked bounceback in Dec. at the BC for Oct. 23rd -30th. We are so excited as we are back at our favorite resort and we get to do the F & W fest. and MNSSHP. We have gone in Dec. for the last 5 years but DD is going into Jr. this fall so we are going when she has a few days off from school. I would love to hear more able F & W and the weather.

Count us hopefully in for Oct 9-16. I am waiting for our school district to put out next yrs school calendar to get exact dates for our Fall Break, but this has always been the time.

Last time we went we stayed at Pop in April. I don't know if we can stay onsite or not. Thinking POR since 5 of us but don't know how cheap I will be able to get it .

With park hours reduced during this time I don't have any idea whether it would be ok to stay off-property or not . We will see!!!

What's the cheapest anybody's seen POR during this time???
