Hi Ladies,

I thought if anyone would know the answer to this you ladies would!
Have any escape brides getting married in October recieved confirmation of thier date yet?
I'm not sure how long it normally takes to get confirmation and I think I am in a different situation to most as I have booked in the UK through a travel agent. So they have to contact Disney on my behalf and work out if there rep is available at the same time!
Its been a week so far and I am going slightly mad so any advice on how long it should take would be fab so I dont become a bag of nerves!

Thanks Guys princess:

I'm getting married October 12, and just sent Disney all the required info. I was told they're drawing up a contract and I should have it next week. Have you tried contacting your travel agent? They should have gotten confirmation the day of or day after. Unless you were in the 10.10.10 lottery. I read they all received confirmation on the 11th and 12th. HTH! :goodvibes

You need to call your coordinator. The 10-10-10 Brides all have been informed if they got the date. So depending upon your date, 8 months to the date, you should know. Don't worry, it'll be okay. :cool2:

Thanks Guys,

I will stay patient!
It seems that I've booked this the most complicated way, really should have gone direct rather than through the travel agent!
Crossing everything I will here tomorrow otherwise they will be constantly hounded!

Congratulations on getting your date Karen.:cheer2: Was Oct. 12th your first choice?

Thank you!! Yes! It was actually. I was trying to avoid fighting for a spot on 10.10.10. We're having such a small wedding that our close friends and family don't mind a Tuesday wedding! :cool1:

Hi, I'm in exactly the same position as you my travel agent hasn't got back to me yet either BUT Disney copied me in on their e mail to my agent (which shows that the date, venue and time are CONFIRMED.
That's the only reason I know my date and venue and time are confirmed for 10.10.10.
The travel agent told me they take up to two weeks to confirm, but they told me that was becasue Disney take their time, which is NOT the case.
I shall be asking them what took the time when they finally get back to me!

Thanks Guys,

I eventually got the call to say I'd got my date and time, whoop!
I think it makes a massive difference going through a travel agent rather than going direct with Disney!
Sunset 30-Who did you book with?

Now the waiting is over, let the fun stuff begin!

We booked with First Choice, and to be totally honest, will probably never use them again, in fact, THEY still haven't contacted us about our date, time and venue! That and all the other stuff they lied to us about (like we should book and pay the wedding deposit last april *** they could book it there and then, and other stuff we are unhappy about)
I actually included a warning on our news letter not to use them!

YAY! for your date and time though!

I hope you officially find out soon, its a nightmare not knowing!
We booked through Virgin who seemed to be a bit better than First Choice by the sounds of it but there are clear benefits in booking directly!
