We are booked 10/24-10/31. What are the chances of a code/ deal during that time? I haven't seen anyone post any codes for this time. Any deals out there I don't know about? TIA.

There are free dining pins out there that cover those dates, but you'll have to hope to get it from Disney. I don't think any general public discounts have been released past Oct. 3, but someone else can correct me on that if I am wrong.

So there is a chance!

Got a dining code two weeks ago for Oct. 4 through Dec., so we were able to book with free dining for out trip Oct. 12-19 with a big savings. We couldn't have gone without it. I am telling you this not to make you envious but to make you hopeful. My guess is that Disney will indeed release either free dining for the remainder of 2009 or perhaps the buy 4 get 3 free deal.

I don't know why we got the code, but they sent it to the right people because we are using it to head back. And I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm using a 40% off code for that time period, but I got that pin back in Feb/March...booked it just in case (and so far plans are still a "GO!").

I'm still hoping for more deals (although I don't quite know why), I guess it just seems like there should be better general public codes out there in this economy? More realistically, I'm just a plan-aholic because it's the only thing that keeps me sane in the time leading up to a Disney trip :goodvibes

Awhile back...maybe March or April...I got a PIN code from WDW for the kids stay and eat free - which basically gave my two kids the dining plan and free park tickets for our late October trip. It wasn't a bad deal, but it wasn't the best either. We are holding a ressie at the Poly for $200/a night total. If free dining comes our way (Disney Visa or PIN)...I'd cancel our current ressie and book at a Mod with the dining...our deal doesn't let us have the dining plan (booked through a TA)...but so far this is the best deal we have and I'm excited to stay at the Poly again.

if you don't mind me asking, how did you get the Poly at $200/nt? You said this was October? That's when we're going (12th-16th) and would jump at that deal. Thanks.

Congratualtions!!! It gives me hope maybe something will come our way. I'd take any discount at this point.

We booked a trip for last December because we received a 40% off pin. The discounts really make the trips doable and less stressful!

To the OP - I am there during your dates, as well, and am waiting and hoping and trying to do anything I can to get Disney to notice me and send me a coveted PIN code... I'll send some pixie dust your way if you'll return the favor!! Good luck!! :)

Sorry for the delay in my response. We booked through magaical vacations (www.**********************.com). They have a deal during our dates of travel that significantly dropped our rates at the Poly. Unfortunately I don't think your dates are covered. :(

What have been the discounts usually offered for Oct in the past, if any? Just trying to get an odea of what it may be.
Thanks!

I'm booked the 20th-25th with free dining pin. I don't have it in front of me, but there were black-out days during October. If I recall though, the end of the month was all clear.
