October, 2009 ~ Anyone??

We ate at LTT in May for dinner. The food was really good. I loved the atmosphere also. I haven't tried any of the other lunch places, but have heard good things about them.

We will be there 10/4-10/11. We just booked our trip last night!!

You will be there the week before us.:) We are driving down on the 10th and checking in on the 11th, staying at POR.

We are going to be eating at:

50's Primetime Cafe
LeCellier Steak House
1900 ParkFare
Ohana
Chef Mickeys
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Crystal Palace or Coral Reef.... I can't decide yet.

We will most likely be doing them all for dinner.

We will be at BLT/Kidani Village Oct. 10-19. We're doing the DxDP and food and wine festival.

This is where we plan to eat.

Kona
Teppan Edo
Le Cellier
Chef Mickey's
Rose & Crown
Jiko
Saana
Marakeesh
Yak & Yeti
Boma
Raglan Road
Narcoossee's
Citrocios
Ohana's
50's Primetime
Cape May
Mama Melrose

We are so excited!

Count me in for the week of Oct 16th - 23rd! I am taking my niece who will graduate from high school this June (where is the praying smiley when you need one??;) ). Our tentative dining plans:

Food & Wine Festival!

Boma
Cape May
Chefs de France
Liberty Tree
Trails End
Tusker House
and either Chef Mickey's or Hoop de Doo for arrival night

I'm looking forward especially to Chefs de France. On our past trips, I could not get picky DH to try it. DN has three years of high school French, but has never experienced French cuisine. It will be a treat for both of us.

... and did I mention :woohoo: Food & Wine Festival!

Count me in. My DH & I (plus eight other family members) are going
October 9-17th. We are staying at POP, which I LOVE and can not wait to have the unlimited coke slushies!! :yay: This will be our first time to go in October and I can not wait. Does anyone know what the weather and crowds look like for this time???

We are thinking of going Oct 10-17. Please tell me about MNSSHP--wondering if this is worth it and if it will be going on while we are there. Also, wondering about crowds and weather. We have teacher conventions that week so I don't know if it will be a popular destination that week. Thanks for any help.

Woop, we booked our trip for Oct 13-19th last night!!!! We just finished our first trip to WDW and are so completely hooked. It will only be me and my younger sister this time, as my older sister has already used up most of her vacation time.

This will be a bday celebration for my sister. Her actual bday isn't till the 29th but I can't get those dates off work. So, it's an early celebration but we're okay with that. We'll also be tent camping this time at Fort Wilderness, which will be fun and will save money! While we'll miss the Pop, it just doesn't fit within the budget.

Our TS list is still in the works, but here is what we have so far, all dinner:
Ohana's
Cinderella's Royal Table
50's Prime Time Cafe
Le Cellier
Hoop Dee Doo Revue
Planet Hollywood

We've already been to Hoop Dee Doo, Le Cellier, and 50's and loved them. It will be exciting to try a few new things as well!

Ooh, i'm quite curious about this as well. We're planning to do MNSSHP but I would love to learn more.

I'm going to be there 10/31-11/7 and I cannot wait!! Me and my BF want to go to the MNSSHP on Halloween night - When can we buy tickets for this? Does it sell out right away?

The HP tickets go on sale on 05-01. I'm not sure if they sell out right away since our TA got them for us last year. I also plan on going on the 31st. I would just try to buy them as soon as they go on sale.

The party is by ticket only. The rides are still going for all of the party so the lines are a bit shorter. The parade was pretty cool to watch and the Headless Horse man was riding around. We went TOT and it was cool to see charaters you don't see all the time like Alice in Wonderland and that whole story. There was lots and lots of folks dressed up in costumes. All in all it was a great night and we are staying the extra night just to join the party.

We will be there too!! October 29 - Nov. 4!!! Going to MNSSHP on Halloween night!! Taking family members that haven't experienced how much FUN it is to go to the party and to be there ON Halloween!! Come on October!! :rolleyes1

I might be going in October for my 18th birthday, with my mom and my best friend. Don't know when or where we'd stay, because it's not definite yet. But I'm crossing my fingers! Anyway, just wanted to subscribe to this thread so I'll have a place to do my happy dance when I find out if I'm going :)

It"s official! we're booked for Oct 2-Oct 9! It will be DH and I, DD, her DH and the grandkids, 7 and 2. Celebrating DGS's 8th Bday on Oct 4th. :cool1:

My only worry now, is that my DD reserved 2 - 1 bdrm rooms for us through her time share (RCI), and we are in 2 different resorts!!! OKW, for me and DH, SSR for DD and her family. We will keep trying to get in to the same one, but they will charge us to make changes.
Has anyone out there done this ? We want to eat nearly all meals together, and I know my DGS will want to stay with us mostly. The resorts are about 1 mile apart, and I check transportation and stuff, but it will definitely be inconvenient.
So, at this point, I'm afraid to get to excited about the resort, because that could change. But I'm so happy to make it official!!:cool1:
