October 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

Family of 4 still trying to get into a dinner on 9/30 or 10/1 at Ohanas, Le Cellier or Sci Fi. Thanks for looking

See, this would have been a lot better if you had come on here and offered it first. Then one of your fellow DISers would have gotten it. Please remember that instead of emailing a TA first... you can always call in and change it or even have the TA do it.

Sorry to inconvenience you but I am hearing impaired and cannot hear on the phone very well which is why I am using the TA to make/cancel my ADR's.

Also I had read here a couple days ago that you can no longer transfer names as you could in the past under the new ADR system. I did post awhile ago about the ADRs' that I had and offered them if someone could tell me how to transfer them without calling. I could not cancel them online because my TA made them for me so I was unable to access them online.

I guess I was just trying to give some people a heads up on upcoming cancellations. Sorry it didn't work for you.

Last year I gave away LeCellier and I just gave the person my information. She had no trouble at all. I felt okay doing this one since there wasn't a CC required.

Has anyone been successful in transferring ressies?

I am pretty sure that it is the same. I was on the phone to check some Ressies, and the same one came up on the screen.

Good to know! Thanks I'll save my LD minutes and just check online. Using the computer is a little bit slower but a little more discreet at work.

I just called Disney three times and talked to three different people. I asked them what was the process we go about if someone is exchanging, or giving someone their reservation for a dinner. ALL THREE people said, all you have to do is have the persons name, you do not need to change it over to the other name. Along with this, have the reservation number. All three said, that you will never be asked for ID to prove you are the other person.
This of course does not apply to any Ressies that a Charge card is used.
So, if you are going to cancel one, please offer it to other Disers first.
The process is pretty simple. With it being so hard to get the Ressies we want, we need to help each other out as much as we can.

Which one do you think you would prefer? I mean it is about spreading the magic. Are you wanting the characters, or good food with Characters? Are there any others you are wanting as well?

Has anyone ever had luck showing up for an ADR with 2 additional people and still been able to get seated? I'm really worried we won't be able to get my parents in to our ADRs at CM, CP and 1900 PF.

ANy # party from 2- 6 - of course would love everyone - but we can make it work leaving the others out if we have to! LOL

I have a CRT lunch on 10/18 for 2 - or maybe 3 that I can trade

You really shouldn't do this. There is a very good chance they won't be able to seat you.

Although I have had them lose my ADR and seat us anyway ~ and I have had them have it for the wrong number of people ~ but looking at my other ADR saw they were all made for the right number and seat us.

Try doing a second ADR for two people.

that was before the new system. I have tried on several occasions to change a name on an ADR with the new dining system and each time I have been told that I cannot do it.
