October 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

Looking for Chef Mickeys' party of 9 for breakfast on 10/10. A long shot I know.....

I have a Chef Mickey's on Sunday Oct. 18 at 7:50 p.m. party of 4. Looking to trade for similar or earlier time on either Friday Oct. 16 or Sat. Oct. 17.

We've finalized our touring plans and it looks like Sunday is our only Epcot day and we're planning to go back for Illuminations. Here's hoping for some pixie dust.

BUMP --Can anyone help? I could also offer up an 8:20 a.m. CP breakfast on 10/16 (party of 4) or a Princess Story Book Lunch on 10/18 at 11:55 a.m. (party of 6). We missed Illuminations last time, but I also don't want to disapoint DD by missing Chef Mickey's.

I was thinking that too!! Sheesh, chill out people. We all know darn well that you can get 100 different answers from different castmembers but that doesn't make one person's experience "wrong" or "incorrect" it just means that they are sharing their personal experience.

We currently have a 7:30 p.m. ADR for four people at Whispering Canyon on Saturday, October 10. I'm thinking that I would like to find something earlier. Does anyone have an earlier ADR (say around 5:00-6:00 p.m.) that they would like to swap?

I've been checking online, but I keep getting this message: "Sorry, our system is currently experiencing high volume and we were unable to process your request. Please try again. If you receive this response several times, please try returning at a later time." Funny, I don't get it with any other restaurant - only WCC.

I thought I had read somewhere that breakfast was being extended to noon for the Safari Breakfast at Tusker House....apparently this isn't true and I reallllyy need a breakfast ADR on 10/2. DS is looking forward to Mickey Waffles.

I could trade my 9/28 3:45pm at Sci-Fi Drive In or 10/2 11:50 Tusker lunch

I guess its a good thing that noone will be @ the parks when we're there - but its a bummer 'cause I can't swap a meal 'cause noone is to swap with... but then how is CRT full when noone will be there? LOL
Everyone seems to be going end of Sept or end of Oct - nothing in the middle,..

You really shouldn't do this. There is a very good chance they won't be able to seat you.

Although I have had them lose my ADR and seat us anyway ~ and I have had them have it for the wrong number of people ~ but looking at my other ADR saw they were all made for the right number and seat us.

Try doing a second ADR for two people.

Do you feel this is true if showing up with just ONE more adult? (going from ADR of 3, showing up with 4) My son just decided 2 nights ago to join us so, I got him the same flights, MNSSHP tic and added him to our room with park tic, FD & hopper. Trouble is, all my ADRs are for 3. The ADRs I have aren't exactly exchangable/replaceable. I have CM, 50's, CP, LeCellier, PSB and H&V. I'm worried now!

Not all, but a lot of the tables that fit 3 will also fit 4. If you show up early, you should be fine. You could also try calling once you check in, or the morning of your ADR's because there might be cancellations as you get closer.

We're in the same boat, except we had tables for 3, but now need them for 5. I've checked with Disney a couple of times asking for our party size to be bumped up, but for the ones they haven't been able to accommodate, they've told me just what I mentioned above.

Thanks! I was kinda HOPING that the 3 of us would be seated at tables for 4 anyway so, that adding a 4th would be ok. We will be sure to show up early - like we wouldn't have anyway?!

There is some glitch in the online system that is causing this error to display.... and the reason I say this is that I was looking for a breakfast ADR at Grand Floridian Cafe around 10am and kept getting the same message, but as I changed the time (date was the same) to noon it suddenly displayed ALL the morning availability, there were at least 4 choices that I couldn't previously bring up by putting in the exact time that each time was displaying

So....Try again but put in a time such as noon if you are looking for a breakfast or a few hours later if you are looking for lunch/dinner.

I was getting the same error for Tusker House for the particular morning I was searching for. I figured out that if you select "date range" (even though you don't want to search over a few days) it will show up for the day you are looking for without giving you that message. Just make sure the day you want is the first day... at least this has worked for me every time I was given that message..

I couldn't find it on the website.

Also, where can I find the chilren's menu offerings for the different restaurants?

I have an ADR for 2 on Oct 1st at Le Cellier (got this at my 90 day window)

Have had a slight change in plans and would like to TRADE for a Le Cellier either on Oct 1st for earlier (5-6pm)
OR for Sept 30th 7pm or later (have an ADR at Rose and Crown for 7:45pm that could go with the Sept 30th trade)

Anyone?

(If no trades available, I will still keep this ADR and adjust my plans accordingly)

I am in the exact same boat as you. My nephew who is 4 and has never been to Disney before now gets to go with us so I had to change everything from a party of 3 to a party of 4. I could not get that done at CM but the CM told me to show up early and if there are already not to many people in CM, fire codes, that they will do there best to seat us.
