October 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

We have a CRT on 10/7 at 8:35am we would like to trade for a CRT dinner on 10/4 for a party of 5 - 2 adults, 3 children.

Would also be willing to trade a CP res. on 10/4 at 1 pm for a party of 5 to the CRT dinner reservation on 10/4.

Our DD wants to do BBB & then I thought it would be fun to do dinner afterward.

Nevermind on this, I just found what I wanted after trying like 5 times a day (ok let's be realistic.......30...at least)

I am going to now cancel CRT at 8:35 am on 10/7 for a party of 5 and Crystal Palace at 1pm on 10/4 for a party of 5!

My advice for everyone is to keep trying. I have tried for CRT all week & finally got exactly what I wanted within 5 min. People cancel & stuff opens up. Most of us still have well over 2 months so just keep trying!

Hello all, My Wifes birthday is on Oct 2nd and she so wants to eat at Ohanas for dinner that night. Is there anyone that has a 6pm resie they might cancel as i would like to treat her to mnsshp? I did manage to get one for 9:45pm on the 3rd. If I can get a 6pm on the 2nd I will cancel the one on the 3rd. thanks!

I would try looking at an earlier time slot, since MNSSHP starts at 7. You might have better luck getting an earlier dinner anyway? Good luck!

5:00 is the earliest for dinner.

last year when it was packed due to the free dining, ohana did have a few nights open for adr's at 4:30 on the weekend.

My understanding is that the person who currently has the reservation has to call and have it changed over to your name.

You can do it that way. Last year I just exchanged a private message and gave the DIS'er my last name and dining confirmation # and they "pretended" to be me and it worked out great.

I think THIS is part of the reason some of us CAN'T get what we need - others, like myself, are holding onto the 'iffys' we MIGHT do, thereby creating 'unavailable' to everyone else. I know I'm guilty myself. I have other ADRs I know I can't use.

I need a CM earlier on 10/4 or 10/6 tho! That's all!

Sept 30-- breakfast-- have Whispering Canyon Cafe at 8:30 a.m. to trade IF we get Chef Mickey's this morning

Oct 1-- breakfast

Oct 2-- breakfast, lunch or dinner-- have 1900 Park Fare Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 8:40 a.m. to trade IF we get Chef Mickey's this morning

Oct 3-- breakfast or lunch (before 2 p.m.)

We have a Chef Mickey's on 10/3 at 2:15 p.m. for 4 people that we will trade or cancel IF we can get ANY one of the above dates/times that work better for us.

Please let me know if you have a Chef Mickey's ADR during this time that you are going to cancel, trade, or give away.

Hi everyone..after working so hard to snag my ADR's, I now have to switch around two days.

I am looking for Sci Fi Diner on Oct 2 ..3 people around 1:30pm
Have a res. for Sci Fi on Oct 1, 3 ppl at 1:20 that I can trade.

Can anyone help please??? BTW..how do trades work, do we call Dis Dining and have them switch the names on the res or do we just swap res numbers?

I don't have anything to trade because I was so busy last week I just started making my adr's a few days agao, so I'm sure I don't have anything that you want, BUT.... I could use your sci fi on Oct.1st if you're not using it. We've never been there, and I think the kids would get a kick out of it, it'd be for 2A2C. Thanks!
